The sky is the limit with Coda and what you can do. We use it as our source of truth for all things company-related outside of Jira and AirTable. Build it and they will use it because it's so logical, user-friendly, and ready to please. Microsoft, Jira and OneNote had a baby: CODA!

We have migrated from GitBook and Google Docs to using Coda for both and have integrated with Jira to help manage the document and planning aspects of project and product management.

For several different purposes, it's amazing. The team was able to support me easily if I had a concern. Personally and technically, I use it.

Because Coda is different from the programs I used, you must learn how to find a solution to problems. This is another way of thinking. Coda is beautiful in its flexibility. It can be used to keep track of backlogs, roadmaps, OKRs, PRDs, notes, processes and more. If you are comfortable with the tool, you can bend it to whatever shape you want.

I personally love how adaptable Coda is, but given that it takes some time to learn, it can be a bit intimidating for some colleagues to pick up and run with.

Our Product Team uses Coda to communicate features, priorities, and requirements across several teams during these remote times. The ability to create multiple views of the same information for different stakeholders is a game changer. I love that I don't have to update information in 4 different places anymore.

I really like the formatting and organization in Coda, it's easy to use and the layout makes it easier to find information than on other platforms.

I don't like that my org limits doc maker capabilities due to the cost. I also do not like that tables automatically duplicate to create a 'view' of the other table. I'd rather that be an option I could select after pasting. Instead of 'duplicate data instead', it should auto duplicate the data and then offer 'create a view of data instead'.

Although it is a software that supports a wide variety of cases, it does not proceed with the availability of certain functions, which would increase productivity from this system, in an extraordinary way, but this option of great use, is at a negative disadvantage, which is a problem, as it not only presents this feature in compatibility, but many more that could increase performance and collaboration in organizations, and guarantee one job at a time.

Sometimes, it feels like the Coda team prioritizes features that make things easier for doc readers rather than document creators. The lack of one specific feature has made it almost impossible for me to do a number of things.

We use numerous documents which serve different purposes within our business. At times it becomes frustrating to have to refresh or wait an hour for information from a different document to sync. A faster sync time would be preferred.

We are able to utilize both the desktop and mobile version for our employees who work remotely. They are able to use Coda to record their time sheets, send out invoices and automatically have their hours incorporated into our costing reports.

I really like how comprehensive the feature offering in coda is. In the beginning I was skeptical given all kinds of notebook app all comes out together in a short sprint but eventually realized that coda is fully functional, has extensive support and solves lots of real problem in workspaces. One example is that I've been using it as a collaborative knowledge base that allow everyone in the company to conbribute too. Spending time learing coda really can speed up some misc daily tasks.

Some of the features need more simplification, like when I simply try to create a table to organize my ideas, I always have trouble.
