Cognism is a massive time saver for us. As a small business owner you have to wear multiple hats, marketing being one of those. Cognism allows us to generate targeted data and prospects and organise our marketing by scheduling emails over several weeks. Our account manager Molly is also really helpful in fine tuning campaigns and making suggestions on content and subject lines. The platform is also really user friendly.
There is nothing I dislike about it. You do have to be organised and stay on top of the email responses which can come in quickly. This is not a bad thing!
We've massively increased our engagement levels and brand awareness using Cognism. Its saved us so much time in identifying new potential clients and companies.
The platform is easy to use and there is a lot of data to be generated from all different types of industries. A huge bonus is the excellent customer service they provide. My customer success manager replies quickly and is extremely helpful, Molly helps me generate ideas, data and even with creating email sequences.
From my personal point of view, there is not much to dislike. It is an effective tool for email marketing.
Bringing a constant stream of new leads. With little effort involved, I'm able to reach out to hundreds of different businesses each day and as a result this leads to consistent new business. It can also help with your brand awareness.
What can I say about Cognism…..it’s a very cool way to approach your outbound sales function, with minimal risk. There are two cool things I really like about the system, the first being the ability to set campaigns running when you’re not in the office giving you the ability to react to campaign responses when you’re out on the road. Second (and most importantly) is Flo, our go to person at Cognism, Flo is absolutely fantastic and really makes the journey with this new tech really easy….awesome job Flo!!
This isn’t a dislike, more of a ‘keep in mind’ whilst the system can run seamlessly in the background, you do need to be switched on when the responses start to come in and don’t leave them too long. Also, take the time to familiarise yourself with the tech, don’t be worried, take it slow and you’ll love it. However, with a Flo at your disposal to hold your hand, it’s all good.
The number one reason I came to Cognism is as a new company I want to drive sales, however I didn’t want to invest in an expensive sales team (bodies in the office), so I was looking for something efficient and cool as I was adamant there must be another way to approach sales. Therefore, Cognism are driving our brand awareness up and getting us in front of people.
Its a convenient way of generating new leads and verifying old data. Its easy to use and delivers results instantly. Deliverables are of good quality and reports and easy to understand and implement.

It comes as little surprise that Cognism have an award winning customer service team. As with any marketing channel it's never a fine science and often incurs hurdles along the way however the team are always quick to react and resolve any issues. Constant communication and easy access to the team has enhanced the experience. On top of this Cognism are constantly evolving the platform to allow new technologies.
I wouldn't say there's anything specific I dislike. We've incurred some hurdles along the way but accept that this is normal and teething problems often happen in a start up business that grows so quickly and trying to stay ahead of the curve with the latest technologies.
I'm the only person within my organisation in a solely new business role so the platform allows me to cover a lot of ground quickly, qualify in/out prospects and A/B test for different industries and react quickly to recognised trends. It allows me to push on with smaller, niche, personalised campaigns while Cognism runs in the background doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
Contact details for the most relevant people I'm trying to reach in my industry. Fully GDPR compliance - THE most important for my business. User interface is great and esasy to use Excellent customer service - especially Customer success team

We have been using Cognism for outbound marketing/prospecting for the past few months and have found it an invaluable marketing solution for our business. It would be nicer to be able to filter down into the prospects in more detail with more industry specific information.
Cognism allowed us to to connect with a far larger B2B audience and reach more potential customers than any other marketing tool we have used. It has also allowed us to get direct contact with decision makers within our target market which has been very useful in acquiring new business.

The ability to access prospective clients.
The team at Cognism is are very helpful and eager to do everything they can to make the process work for us. They are also on hand for support whenever I've had a question within minutes. We've increased out output ten fold and It won't take long for us to see a return on our investment.
Being new to the software we sometimes find it hard to keep up with the response it generates. This isn't down to the programme however more to our lack of experience using their interface. I expect this to change as we continue to use the programme going forward.
Lead sourcing and 1st,2nd,3rd approaches - it's basically eliminated the need for cold calling
The level of service provided by Cognism and the quality of leads. All starting issues were resolved quickly and properly. The whole service team is extremely responsive and helpful and they are always genuinely looking to add value to their platform.
As it is a relatively young and growing company, so expectedly there are a few bugs within the online platform - but this is nothing major and does not in any way impact usability. It would be nice to get more information and advanced search and filter capabilities within the campaign screen
Cognism helps me find new leads for my B2B campaign that are actually useful. I have worked with other similar companies before and the quality of leads output by Cognism is far superior. This is in large part due to the detailed search functions when discovering leads with prospector. With the 5000 credits plan I can get at least one or two useful email conversations per day - I work in the manufacturing space, so finding the right kind of prospects can prove difficult with outbound. Cogism makes it so much easier.
Absolutely incredible customer service far beyond what you would expect from a tech solution provider. Onboarding has been a delight, and Cognism even went as far as to invite us into the office to meet the team and be taught best practise.
The outbound comms tools are limited (plain text emails), but that works fine for us as we use our own marketing automation software to nurture leads generated through Cognism anyway
We're a startup (much like Cognism) and we're going through the teething problems of building a high-performing sales engine. Sourcing and contacting leads has frankly been a ball ache, and we were therefore delighted to discover Cognism (on a recommendation) takes all the pain out of this stage of the process. We're now getting through to decision makers and converting 20 demos a week (with a small sales team) - we wouldn't be doing this without them

The Cognism team are a delight to work with - they are really knowledgeable and helpful.

Constantly innovating and improving features and adding more leads to their database!
With any startup, there are occasional inefficiencies/bugs when adding new features but they always get flagged and fixed very quickly. Honestly can't complain about much.

The reach it has in our markets. We have tried other people who have offered similar services in the past with universally poor results. We work exclusively in emerging and frontier markets and Cognism works for us there. Additionally they have gone the extra mile to solve any and all teething problems we have had and are genuinely keen to look at new approaches to the problems we all face in developing new business.
We had a few teething problems to start but these were software related and have since been ironed out.
Developing new clients in markets which are new to us. Developing candidate streams in markets which are new to us. Helping us market more effectively to our key clients and ensure we keep our business at the front of their minds without being intrusive or repetitive.
The team at Cognism is smart and highly responsive. They are eager to make the relationship work and always put forth the necessary effort and resources into making our marketing campaigns effective. Most importantly, the relationship has produced a good return on investment, which we expect to see increasing further this Quarter and beyond.
When we first started working with the software it was still somewhat in development, i.e. there was a good infrastructure but there were a few features were missing that we wanted; however, every time we made a feature request, the team was amazingly fast about executing it. The product has developed very nicely over time and has been highly responsive to our needs.
We are using the product to help identify companies that would benefit from our services. In this capacity, it’s helped identify companies by industry, revenue, and other unique criteria that would typically require multiple resources. Having everything in one platform has been extremely beneficial.
With Cognism, I can bi-pass the most expensive elements of the business development process which is identifying the decision maker and getting them to agree to a conversation - effectively we have replaced a telesales team with their solution and are delivering higher levels of appointments every week.
As with all systems, there are always minor niggles or features we would like - but in fairness the longest we have waited for implementation of an item on our wish list was a couple of weeks
Enquiries from targeted decision makers - we generally get c. 10 per week and have already generated more than enough business to pay for the system to date
