My role is heavily focused on prospecting, cognism allows me to build an account list & lead list, after that i'm provided with the mobile numbers and emails of decision makers making my outreach a lot more fruitful.
A small number of times the mobile number is incorrect, however when it gets flagged the team are usually quick to get this amended and the right number ends up being on my homepage for me to recontact.
Reaching the right people directly is the problem is solves for me and it benefits me because it reduces the number of calls I have to make in order to get a connected call.
I evaluated several systems at the same time as Cognism. While they all had good points, only Cognism fulfilled all of our requirements. The interface is extremely simple to use, both for users and for admin. We have found the quantity and quality of the information is high. Two very nice additions to my must-have list were integration with Pipedrive CRM and the LinkedIn browser plug-in. However most importantly for me the customer service and level of contact and support has been extremely high.
Would like to see more useful "Technologies" in use currently only "Illumina" is a useful one for our industry. A small hiccup with the initial set up of our system but that was sorted out in minutes by the team at Cognism. Some CSV exports don't always look right in Excel

Easy to use and from a sales ops view, being able to upload CSV files for ABM campaigns.
Sometimes it's hard to find smaller companies in the SMB segment, as well as the technologies filter isn't to accurate

Cognism allows me to reach out to most prospects that are a fit for our company. Generating multiple leads, Cognism's data has allowed me to contact various prospects that have signed off on our solution.
The diamonds on-demand data is incredibly high quality. Their coverage in NA and EMEA is also fantastic. Beyond all that, they have been incredibly responsive to all inquiries our team has sent their way and is always quick to try to help us any way they can.
None so far - they have a few features on their roadmap that will make our experience even better.
We have a growing outbound sales motion which is fueled by account-based targeting at the top and middle of our funnel, but they help our sales team work in concert with those efforts with a more personal approach.
The interface is lightweight, and integrates well with Sales Navigator and Salesforce without making the experience buggy.
It would be better if you could capture data for every prospect - however, the reality is that this is impossible with any tool.
Our problem is that we need data to conduct sales activities, and Cognism provides said data.

That I didn't use it sooner! Emails aren't as high accuracy as numbers but as a phone first prospector that is a very minor dislike.

Phone numbers - Cognism's data has given our team access to leads that we otherwise would never have got, which meant within week 1 of using Cognism we were back to exceeding quota. Will Arney was also fantastic in getting us up and running quickly and showing us exactly how the software works so that we could hit the ground running from day 1.
The Chrome ext takes up quite a lot of space on the right hand of the screen, can make it difficult to open other plugins - only a minor problem.

Email addresses aren't always correct, you should use an email verification system together with Cognism. However, this happens with pretty much any other email cultivating tool.
Having the right phone number data saves a lot of time and frustration. Sales calls are already hard, no need to make them harder with wrong phone numbers. Outreaching using phone calls is more efficient and effective.
Good filter options to get the right email addresses and other data of the personas you are interested in. The LinkedIn Chrome plugin is a very quick tool to get specific information into your CRM.
Not always very up-to-date information. Sometimes people have already left the company for some years.
