There really is not anything I dislike..
I am solving the problem of confusion on who is who within organizations. There would be times where I would chase certain individuals and their titles for months, when they were to wrong person. This has provided so much clarity.
It is easy to navigate, easy to search leads. It is a one stop shop for details you want to see.
There are less leads in other countries, but mostly in US.
The leads information is accurate, I can be able to connect with the ones I am looking for.
Complete org charts. This includes names, titles, relationships, and best of all...DIRECT DIALS. So long as the companies you are targeting exist here, there is absolutely nothing you won't be able to instantly and comprehensively find out. Landing a sale or partnership will solely be the result of your outreach cadence and technique.
This started as an IT prospecting system, which limits itself against brand marketing and other industry efforts. This is changing over time, so I imagine this issue will at least partially resolve itself.
Lead generation, direct outreach, and determining compelling events to justify customer interaction. Essentially, taking almost all of the guesswork in top of the funnel sales activity.
Zoom info has provided some of the best information I have seen throughout my career in software sales. I love being able to look into an organization and pinpoint who the best contacts are to get a deal done. Being able to see how a company is structured and seeing all the big players presents a very big opportunity since we are then able to see a good way to fast track a deal. Not only with that tool are we able to see how to get something moving quicker but we are also able to use the Intent and Scoops tool to give us additional data on how to best approach a company if they are looking into something specific or have had articles published recently that can give us another warm intro when reaching out to a cold prospect. Having mobile phones and emails has been without a doubt the reason I have hit my goals during this COVID pandemic as it has given me the right ways of reaching out directly to higher-ups and being able to address them without having to all through 5-10 people to find the right person I am supposed to talk too. Then being able to use those same tools i mentioned before to go wide on an account and create some groundswell. There is absolutely no way I would have hit my goal during this whole ordeal if I did not have Zoominfo in place.
One of the only few dislikes I have about zoom info is I work with companies doing billions of dollars of business. When a company like this does as much revenue as it does there are always going to be smaller companies under their umbrella. When I have targetted these companies and tried to gain insight into how they are operating I tend to see there is no info under the subsidiary but it is instead attached to the parent. This presents a hard issue since I am trying to target something specifically. There is a way around it by looking at the location of the employee but I feel there must be a simpler way to get to this information than the way I have been doing.
I have been able to solve getting a deal faster and looking into the right champions I am able to create at the companies I am targeting. This process was a lot harder in the past and much more time-consuming. Being able to leverage Zoom Info this way has been invaluable since I am able to really get down to the point instead of wasting valuable time maneuvering through a bunch of people. I have realized a tool like this is absolutely crucial in my line of work and am glad we were able to adopt it sooner than we thought. I have no doubt the rest of the team feels the same way since we are now able to gather more momentum with companies.
ZoomInfo's user-friendly interface is its best asset. The simplest way in finding a quality lead has become easier because of the platform's great system features. The seamless process of searching and exporting the lead and its powerful breadth of data is something that ZoomInfo could only offer. For salesperson like me, this is a gift from above because we are able to generate leads in a quick span of time and able to reach the necessary quota.
The only thing that I dislike is it crashes down once I've reached more than 200 pages and I don't have a choice but to reload the whole site then go back to the page where I left again. I'm not sure if the problem is just on my computer but I've spoke with some of colleagues and they also experienced the same thing. I believe that it's just a simple problem and definitely ZoomInfo's technical team would work on that. Nevertheless, I couldn't tell anything I don't like about the platform anymore.
The problem/s that I am able to solve is the challenging and time-consuming lead generation. WIth the help of ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg, we are able to find quality leads and at the same time, we don't have to look for their contact information anymore as everything is already available within the platform including their company's information.
The most helpful thing about Zoominfo is the ability to reach contact information easily and expect accurate results. I am also able to see intent for the purchase of my product and insiders scoops to understand the companies I prospect.
Nothing I dislike, but if I could suggest something to the users is to receive a Zoominfo Certification as I believe it's the best training provided on this platform. Otherwise, without proper training, this platform can seem too robust to the average user and you may go on using it without knowing all that it can provide.
Benefits include being able to reach out to anyone at any company, understanding what the companies I prospect are looking for, and seeing target decision-makers. Problems solved by Zoominfo include the ability to see who I need to reach out to and understand their needs before jumping on the phone with them.
I use Zoominfo for everything from pre-call planning to account strategy to QBR's. It is a very feature-rich tool that I use on a daily basis. I will definitely request it at any company I go to in the future.
Because it is a very feature-rich tool, there is a bit of a learning curve. You just have to be patient and make sure that you take the time to learn how to use it properly. I am always learning new things. One other thing is that it does tend to be slightly less accurate with smaller companies.
I am able to quickly get up to speed on an account. I can also get a lot of insights into companies that I am prospecting into as I am in sales. It has a ton of detail. Everything from the company org chart, to tools that they use.
I love everything about this application. It has intents that are helpful in creating a starting point to contacts. It has all contact information which is amazing. I also use LinkedIn in conjunction with zoominfo so I love the reach out function and the link to linkedin profile on the zoominfo contact profile. The org level is also very helpful and insightful. I don't have a single complaint about the app!
If I had to give some feedback for improvement, it would be on the accuracy of the intents. It would be nice to get a little more context on how these intents are collected, which source or website are these being triggered by, etc.
I am prospecting on a daily basis for leads and target accounts. Zoominfo is the go-to tool for company info as well as contact info. I'm able to solve who is the best contact to reach out to based on persona, which company and industry I'm going to target. I also like how it gives current technology in place. Being in software, it is a really good intel to know which solutions are currently in place to help us come to our conversations with more insight and knowledge.
I love that I am able to see the scoops about a company. I literally drop a bomb from the scoops and listen to the amazement in their voices. I love that I have access to see the current employees of a company and have access to their emails and direct lines. I makes it easy for me to target them and cold call/email them. I also love that I can gain access to their current technologies they are using within their organization.
Sometimes the revenue is not always accurate and up to date.

I like how the information is displayed really clearly and that I get to see org charts as well. The integrations are amazing, also the list exports have a lot of potential.
I'd like to have the Websights feature to be able to show me all visits each particular account has had instead of having to search each url, also to be able to track what was the visit source .
This tool has been awesome for locating potential customers and to keep track of contacts that have moved somewhere else, additional to that, it has made it easy for me to filter off of org size.

I like that ZoomInfo has an extensive resource of contacts and companies. You can find almost any business or anyone. I do sales internationally and I am able to find contacts worldwide. I really enjoy the filters which also make lead mining possible! And being able to then export that information straight into my CRM is next level. I love the technologies function as it makes my outreach very relevant. I also quite like the organization tab which shows me reporting lines.
Sometimes the contacts are not the most up to date. I always double check a contact against LinkedIn. I also find that sometimes I’m looking for a contact in Spain for example, I’m given their direct number and the number of the HQ in the US but I am not able to easily get their Spanish companies number.
Sales outreach is much easier than the old days! That’s for sure! Our sales numbers are up! - lead mining is now possible and very efficient - data capturing time has reduced significantly by being able to export a contact. Zoominfo also checks with your CRM if the lead already exists which is great. - you are given many options of contacts in similar roles - I especially enjoy the technologies function as it makes my outreach more relevant. Zoominfo helps narrow down the correct companies to target by supplying information which isn’t easily accessible elsewhere (which technologies they use, what is the revenue, what are the scoops and what is the intent of the company)

ZoomInfo is an intuitive, easy to use prospecting database full of all the missing information that common lists lack. Mobile numbers, direct dials, business and supplementary email addresses, and even information like direct office locations. The level of granularity and accuracy on ZoomInfo is unmatched by their competition. ZoomInfo is to data providers as SalesForce is to CRMs, the best of the best. ZoomInfo's ListMatch functionality is also extremely powerful for creating account-based marketing campaigns and filling in missing data in my prospecting database. Their Intent and Scoops data for buyer intent and market research is fast, accurate, and extremely helpful for gaining a quick understanding of my prospect's business priorities. One of my favorite features is their organizational charts - they somehow figure out who reports to who, making finding additional stakeholders and engaging a prospect's sphere of influence a lot faster and simpler. Also - their super easy integration with the leading CRMs makes ZoomInfo the number one choice for most companies.
ZoomInfo is expensive, and even though I think it is well worth the price, it is cost-prohibitive to a lot of startups and small businesses. I will give them props for segmenting their product well, allowing those with smaller budgets to still get some of the benefits I talked about. While you'll be missing a few of the top features like intent data and scoops, you'll still get access to their prospecting database and super easy integrations with CRMs.
I use ZoomInfo to find accurate business emails, direct dials, and other company information like revenue (even for private companies - very helpful) to help me prioritize my prospecting efforts. Additionally, ZoomInfo's ListMatch functionality enables me to create custom, account-based marketing campaigns with more data, faster, than I would have been able to do otherwise.
It fills the gap between public information (general phone number) and Linkedin (lack of direct phone numbers), contact info is accurate (75% I'd say based on my experience). So it has facilitated being able to reach more contacts in a shorter time.
Their pricing tiers and access limitations, they charge a lot for contacts they get for free essentially. But you pay for the convenience and for the time savings, and for increasing your potential for sales.
Having access to contacts that otherwise we didn't have access to, and also being able to contact people during the pandemic.
ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg is my ultimate source for my prospecting . What I love the most is that after applying filter for your target result, you do mass export to the CR, of my organization and easily manage the task! Couldn't imagine my daily work without such awesome tool! Also, being able to capture their mobile number sometimes is really great since it will help me reach the lead faster.
If Zoominfo will make more update for the database, it would really be great! Sometimes, I find the information in the database outdated compared to LinkedIn profile of the leads.
One of the challenges that I used to encounter is running out of quality leads, with the mass export capability of this product, it will never be a problem anymore! Also, sometime, they will not respond to your email nor to your office call, having their mobile number sometime is really a great way to increase the possibility of being able to reach the lead at no time. This product is really a game changer to increase your activities for prospecting while saving the time.
