Pricing can be somewhat steep for smaller businesses or startups I have expressed concerns about the accuracy of the contact data in the database isn't correct
Finding new leads and potential customers can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. Apollo.io provides me with an extensive database of contact information that I can use to find and reach out to new prospects more efficiently.
I'm extremely impressed with how robust Apollo.io's data is, as well as the ease of granular searching and fine-tuning. Its simple and clean integration with my email box makes it a snap to use and implement.
There's so much to learn and I haven't done that yet. So truly my only complaints are that I need to spend more time getting educated rather than just jumping in and going full speed (but Apollo.io made it super easy to just jump in!!).
Apollo.io has simplified lead generation and outreach - I can also test messaging with A/B tests and figure out what works best. I am saving tons of time each week with this tool.
The best free contact database I've use that doesn't require a business email. That offers a 14 day free trial to help with your prospecting needs. A overall very efficient and easy to use software.
For contact information the phone numbers are sometimes blank info for mobile numbers. Company numbers have gatekeeps which can be hard to get to your prospect.
Allowing me to save time and resources trying to find prospects contact information. A lot of other companies charge for this kind of information. With Apollo I can get it for free
The automatic sequences are super simple. I picked up all the tools very quickly and was able to build a great sequence with many different steps. They even let you set LinkedIn steps.
Nothing is bad enough to report. The only improvements could be the generic tags becoming more accurate such as last name including certifications if they are part of their LinkedIn name.
Apollo is allowing me to prospect, reach out, and customize emails in order to reach more people and find personalization right in the dashboard. It is a lot quicker than manual methods.
It has all the features I have - search (lead gen), great sequence maker & browser extension when I'm not on the platform. Also, very affordable!

Finding Email and Phone numbers
The fact that I can generate leads easily, it´s really intuitive and easy to use. Only God knows how Apollo helped me up my game when it comes to prospecting leads and data collection for my agency.
Until the moment, I did not find anything that I dislike. Maybe it would be the fact that not every company lets me get their info using Apolo, but I know that it´s not your fault.
Apollo is really helping me get the emails and phone numbers belonging to the owners, directors and administrators of some huge companies, which helps me talk directly to them and have more chances to make a sale.

I love how intuitive Apollo is and how easy it is to build sequences and add prospects to those sequences using the chrome plugin. It also provides a wealth of information about prospects, so I don't need to go into the process completely cold.
While Apollo is one of the best tools I have used, one missing feature compared to other email automation platforms I have used is the ability to edit all messages in the sequence for a prospect from within the chrome plugin. If that feature were present, it would be unstoppable as a platform.
I use Apollo to add prospective clients to email sequences quickly. I also use it for email identification and insights into target clients and companies. I also built lists of contacts that I can export and then quickly import into my applicant tracking system.
It is so easy to find prospects and their relevant contact details. With the free version you don't have a need for Linkedin SalesNavigator anymore. You get all the best functions and then some. You can then grow into the solution and have some real fun with your outreach!
So far so good. I have not found anything that I do not like yet. All in all it is a very intuitive system and easy to get started. I have not started with sequencing and so on yet. Maybe it looks a bit complicated at a first glance but I am sure it will go smoothly.
My company sells a niche product, software for Group Accounting, consolidation tools and our target audience is Group Finance. It can be difficult to reach them and find their contact details. With Apollo I can filter on the finance department, zoom in on likely companies in need of our products and then reach out to them. With tools like SalesNavigator, you only get the positon and a bit of a background but rarely the email adress.
I regularly use Apollo for sourcing emails via LinkedIn. The email feature works brilliantly, is almost always reliable, and has helped me massively with contacting and establishing new relationships. I regularly recommend it to others for a variety of purposes, including contacting hiring managers when applying to roles.
I haven't used a lot of the other features of Apollo, so I couldn't talk about how useful it is for other priorities. For sourcing emails from LinkedIn, I have no criticisms of that function.
Apollo allows me to find the email addresses of people I want to contact regarding building partnerships with my organisation. It allows me to have a direct line to the relevant person, rather than having to go around the houses with general mailboxes.

What I dislike about Apollo.io is this application does not provide personal mobile numbers for free. Another thing is their free monthly plan provides limited credits.
It provides leads without effort, unlike other applications, which have minimal access to the personal details of the C-Suite. Another benefit of using it is it fetches data directly from websites which is very helpful for working fast.

The prospecting feature works super well. And from there, creating a sequence on top of a segment is extremely fast!
Maybe having more sequence templates would be helpful when you're not inspired to write cold emails.

Synchronization with CRM systems, ability to customize workflow, great lead generation functions, customized sequences, easy to learn. All the tools that I've been using before had some issues with that, but not Apollo.

CRM synchronization is astonishing. Lead generation is easy to learn, so the whole department quickly moved from competitors to Apollo. We have increased the number of replies because of filters, the ability to create ICP, and other cool lead-generation functions.
