Cognism is very clean. We've played around with many sales acceleration and contact data tolls in the past, but Cognism is by far the most reliable and easy to use. The chrome extension is a HUGE help for us, given we spend our entire day prospecting via LinkedIn.
Once Cognism is able to get the chrome extension to work on LinkedIn Recruiter, I'm not sure there will be anything we dislike.
Finding prospects faster.
Cognism is incredible quick and easy to navigate The lead search is one of the best systems I have used You can either use this system for contact finding, lead generation or campaign production The step by step set up for campaigns is incredibly efficient and free's up alot of time
Trying to navigate around spam requirements which arent incredibly clear when you start using it. If you select the wrong option when generating your campaign lists, you can't go back and amend them (such as number of people in an organisation)
Cognisim is solving a large issue of generating bespoke campaigns outside of using third parties. We use a third party when it comes to generic email campaigns, but on occasion, we need to create a campaign within a short time scale and don't have the luxury of waiting for the third party to generate it for us.
I like it cause I get the Phone number and email.
There's some time that the data is incorrect.
I realized that Cognism can help a lot of businesses in terms of Prospecting and can help individuals to get in touch directly with the Prospect.
It is so convenient to use and it is always available.
What I dislike is that there are phone numbers that are incorrect or not in use anymore maybe they just need to be updated.

Cognis Quick and easy access to B2B data, as and when you need it. The customer success team, particularly Bansi, is also very helpful and keen to help us make the most of the platform.
It doesn't capture all data, especially phone numbers. We've also come across a few companies/contacts that aren't in the database.

Finding target email address.
Having the option to export key data from my day-to-day prospecting has helped to support our sales team secure high value opportunities for our clients by providing accurate email addresses and direct dials. Within my role, part of my responsibilities is building online networks for our sales teams. Having Cognism at the start of new campaigns allows me to see how many of our prospects are on LinkedIn in our targeted accounts and allows me to plan more effectively in regard to how long it will take to connect with prospects and provide my clients with more realistic time measurements. Before Cognism, I was in a way going in blind and was unsure of the size of the task ahead without the view of just how many relevant prospects were on LinkedIn.
Cognism is great for new campaigns, however for historic data sets it has proven difficult to accurately match such things as company names and contact details which leads to duplications in our CRM, therefore, creating manual ‘fixing’ hours for our internal data teams. I appreciate that not all data can be 100% accurate but I have experienced issues such as, LinkedIn URL’s not working, high bounce rates on email addresses and job titles being old titles a prospect has held and not their most current.
As expressed in my first point, Cognism is helping me better plan my teams time and provide more accurate timelines to my clients in regards to how long it will take us to make the first touch point of our prospects social media sales journey (ie a connection request). The Chrome extension also is useful when looking for email address or numbers for selected prospects.
Their Chrome extension and how easy it is to use, plus the customer service that we get from Bansi Kakad is top notch!
Tough to say but maybe a better way to see if people have a mobile when using the chrome extension rather than having to click refresh
Getting contact numbers and getting in front of people because of this
Cognism has an incredible customer service experience. The personal contact point is incredibly helpful in case you have any questions or suggestions that you have. This automatically get me to my next point, which is the strive for excellence that is notable when speaking with representatives of the Cognism platform. Points of improvement are taken seriously and quickly added to the platform, making the relationship between client and supplier very pleasant. the platform itself is easy to use and does not take a tremendous amount of skill to master, making it easily accessible to any member of the organisation with a simple demo or training session.
Cognism is still relatively young, so there are certainly some points for improvement. There are a couple of minor bugs found here and there, although they are quickly resolved most of the time. The tracking of previous activities within the platform is also quite difficult and to ensure the quality of the overall platform most of the quality measurements have to be done manually. I must note that this is primarily the case when using an external CRM; if all the features of the platform are utilized the results are much more easily tracked.
Cognism's primary function in our organisation is lead generation, as we use an external CRM for the remaining process. It significantly reduces time necessary to generate leads with relatively accurate target groups once you have found and entered the right search criteria

For our ABM strategy we needed correct data and to be able to scale quickly. Cognism provides just that.
The interaction between Cognism and our CRM system makes it extremely easy to use. There is also key features such as the chrome extension which saves a lot of time.
The only slight dislike is the number of updates and changes to the system. Although this does show the Cognism team are always making improvements based on our feedback.

It is a powerful B2B tool for our organization, it is one of the major prospecting software. Its functions are effective in identifying better prospects and communicate with them, increasing the possibility that it will be more likely to buy our products. Makes us fund campaigns with more accurate and actionable data, which is obtained through segmentation advanced technology and automation that greatly helps all work personnel.
We have found potential customers at times that in the mail electronic messages have been transferred to the read messages tray, so the equipment cannot Get an accurate view at a glance. Our staff is already aware of this situation therefore focus on detailed and paused review, to avoid passing these setback.
We have managed to discover and identify more ideal customers thanks to access to millions of contacts compatible with us worldwide, establishing contact with consumers more likely to be our potentials, serving them in the time when they need it most by using sales triggers smart. We execute integrated campaigns at scale through the latest technology. We managed to integrate it with our main CRM and with all the tools of our constant use, eliminating the hassle of split prospecting, therefore we make work where we do.
Cognism has made a real difference to our lead gen process in 2019 - it's saved us a lot of time and helped us greatly in reaching the right contacts! The platform is really easy to use and Adrian our Account Manager has supported us every step of the way (and Phoebe too, before leaving to launch Cognism in the US). We explained our goals in the onboarding process and they have exceeded them.
We had a few issues early on due to changes to Microsoft - lots of bounces. But this was something Cognism worked on fixing really quickly so we were back up and running in no time.

Great find for our sales team! What stood out to me about Cognism is the ability to generate a multitude of high-quality contacts complete with email addresses and phone numbers. Their robust filtering options enabled us to conduct effective searches for our sales prospecting and account mapping, making the process more efficient.
I have yet to come across one, to be honest!

It is user friendly and had great support system. Its also has great intergrations like Salesforce, Outreach, Linkedin ant etc.
Accuracy of the data is not reliable. And constant bugs.
Sequencing campaigns and data collection

- European capabilities (outside UK) could be improved - Some contacts that are supposedly well rated end up bouncing - Poor accuracy for smaller companies in larger umbrella groups
- We use it to find contacts while prospecting and later outreach to said contacts - We use it to refresh contacts for older deals - We use it to create lead lists though I do not think this is cognisms strong suit
What I like the most about Cognism is the easy-to-use platform and the user interface, as you can find all the information you need without any problems. Customer support is also very responsive and available to help.
The only thing I don't like about Cognism is that a lot of information regarding emails and phones from leads is outdated. This makes it challenging to approach potential clients, and therefore you lose a lot of time when prospecting.
Cognism is solving the problem of having to look up for specific information about someone that might be a potential client for the company. This is benefitting me by helping me find information to be able to contact these people.
