I love the simple, modern, intuitive user interface. It's easy to use, includes a native e-signature feature, and at a reasonable price with a responsive and professional help desk. It's made a vast improvement in organizing and streamlining all our contracts and has been well received by our staff.
Like all software, it's not perfect. The biggest challenge for me is the formatting issues when converting documents into Concord or even inside Concord. I've spent hours fixing templates. Once they are completed then things run pretty smoothly, but this setup can be frustrating and time-consuming. Although it's a relatively minor thing, Also, I don't like how they handle the "request signature" emails. It's a simple link to have the system send an email to a signatory, and great that it can be automated to send after a previous signature is completed, but the subject line says "Invitation to join" which is confusing since an external signatory does not need to join anything to review and sign the document. There is a way to send customized messages when sharing a document, but not for the "request signature" emails. I also appreciate that the completed Smart Fields automatically show up in the Summary section, but currently, none of the other fields do, so we have to add those manually. Again, other than the formatting issues, it's mostly just small things.
Contract management
I use Concord for sending out NDAs. Using templates and being able to view all activity is easy. It makes things a lot faster and more streamlined for our team.
Nothing to dislike so far. Have had a good experience.
Easier NDA sending/receiving management.
The features and user experience as a whole make it a great platform. The platform is easy to use, navigate and make changes to document.
Sometimes when changing document content, the format changes and is hard to edit.
We have multiple contracts to send out daily using this platform makes it easy to track & manage
The customization available for each contract template we have is fantastic. Adding fields to our contracts and then selecting who has permission to edit makes the contract process much clearer for both the sender and the receiver. This function is beneficial when we have a database of 54 different templates that are each very specialized. We have sent contracts out to thousands of freelancers that work for our company and they are all organized and easy to find.
Concord could improve its platform by making the resend invitation function better for all contracts. Once the recipient views it at a glance, the ability to resend is gone. If there are ongoing contract talks that need adjustments over time, this requires our company to remove permissions for the recipient and add them again to receive the invitation again.
I can store all my signed contracts in the database and easily refer back to them at any time. Additionally, my colleagues and I can view our contracts across multiple networks. Since we all share templates, when someone on my team makes adjustments, they are applied for all of us.
Ability to negotiate a document with an external party and also get it signed in the same spot
Version history feature isn't as good as Google Docs
Contract management for the full life cycle - drafting, negotiating, signing and storing. The benefits of having it all in one place makes things so much easier!
Adding documents to be signed and colaborate with some other people is very easy. Contacting people from outside our structure to sign is simple and efficient.
Contract deletion is a bit complicated, not easy to find at first glance
Dans une volonté de numériser nos documents interne, nous avions besoin de pouvoir signer électroniquement nos documents. De plus, nous avions aussi besoin de pourvoir faire signer des documents à distance à nos clients. Concord permet tout ceci
As a large company, we work with hundreds of vendors each with unique contracts and specifications that we need to manage. We are a parent company that manages several partner companies, therefore, we needed software that would allow for us to organize our contracts by organization to keep things together but separate. We also needed to be able to control permissions on who would be able to see which contracts and be part of the review and approval process. Concord allows us to coordinate the approval of contracts easily, track contractual requirements, and ensure that we have a mechanism to keep up with varying term dates.
Like most software, there is always room for improvement. In the case of Concord my wishlist item would be for a more friendly searchable format so that I can search PDF contracts to find words and terms in one quick search. In my specific role, this feature is most important given I produce annual reporting requirements that vary based on vendor. Having this feature improved on in the software would really add efficiency to my role.
Related to the response about where the software is currently lacking, Concord is helping our organization find more ways to use native features to better organize the ways that we use "pick-list" features so that we can search for contracts that have specific requirements. It is vital to our organization that we understand that deliverables for each specific vendor and when those are due. They differ by organization, by the vendor, and by date so having a searchable feature is something that we have been problem-solving and have been able to find some existing solutions for in the software.
I love the functionality and ease of use that Concord has. It makes processes easier to implement. This is a wonderful tool for organizing documents that are essential to our business.
So far, nothing bad to say. I have had moments when I upload a document and I have to spend time reformatting the doc. It's not a big issue, but a minor annoyance that I don't think is the fault of Concord.
Having one place where the documenta resides and is edited makes it much easier to track revisions and grants easier access for team members to review documents that are still pending or that have bee finalized.
I enjoy using Concord and find that the complexity the system offers isn't dumbed down by the simplicity of the tool itself
The only slight dislike I have found with Concord is that the underlying text editor has been deprecated which has caused a change in some of our processes. The team at Concord worked quickly to help me with an alternative approach though
As a Vendor Management team, we use Concord for managing and maintaining contracts and key documents such as NDAs
I love that it's so easy for third parties to use.
Changing the formatting on new templates can be tricky.
We have greater insight into contract practices across the company.
Comparing with other management apps, concord now makes it easier to manage any new contracts and communicate the changes easily internally and externally.
I have not experience anything negative as of now. So far there is nothing i dislike
Automating a few parts of new contract signing.
Upcoming deadline alerts via email are excellent. Also, being able to upload the contract into the program.
Can't export from spreadsheet. Currently using Excel to house contracts that are stored on server. Would love to be able to export the info from spreadsheet
Our contract management was from a spreadsheet. With Concord Now it is easy to navigate to find contracts and all its contents, including being able to view the document is great. The email alerts are a life saver.
Concord is very easy to use and navigate. I have had no issues on training new users.
I like the option of having stackable folders, which I did not find was an option with Concord.
We are a Non-Profit with over 150+ contracts with different Counties and school districts. Some times we'll have multiple contracts with one County. It's easy to track and document the negotiation, contract cycle and contract type with Concord.
In my line of work the Service Agreement is vital before anything can be done for the client. However, my client are often not in the same place as me. Concord has eliminated the endless emails back and forth to try and get everything signed. I will admit that I have not even set up proper templates yet, and am barely using the software as a contract management software, as much as I am using it like a e-sig software.
Somehow, despite being very simple to use, the contract signing procedure has still managed to confuse one or two of my older clients. My only major concern is that if I import a contract as a PDF, I get odd breaks in the place of page breaks. However, importing a word document will screw around with the formatting and indentations.
My Service Agreement signing is quicker, more convenient, and more secure.
I've been using Concord for a while now and its very cost effective and simplifies eContracting. I especially like the feature of reviewing contracts in an email inbox format and the easy API integration with Salesforce.com
A mobile version would be great to see with this App.
This product has some aspects that are easy and cheaper than competitors like Docusign
I've been using Concord for the past 6 months, and have been nothing but pleased with its ease of use when sending out contracts and interacting with our authors.
I also receive email notifications from them regularly to ensure I am satisfied with the service, and I have yet to provide them any feedback on any of the tools they have to offer.
It's a great product, and I intend on using them to manage author contracts for the foreseeable future.
Ease of using the app Uploading word documents and pdf
Had some issues logging in with G+ vs. normal gmail login
Signing of documents quickly rather than manual processes
Centralizing all agreements in one location has been tremendously helpful to our business. Everyone knows where to look for docs. Negotiations are managed in the platform. We no longer need an additional e-signature service. The efficiencies are amazing. SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Limited third-party integrations, but improvements are being developed.
We needed a contract management system.
Concord is very intuitive and easy to use. It is great that you can upload previously executed documents as well as new ones. It is also an affordable system. The support staff are also very helpful.
I do not dislike anything so far, all of my expectations have been met.
We are able to keep all of our contracts in one place and easily sort them.
Ease of use and simple interface. The product is also competitively priced and has made significant changes in the way we manage staff contracts. Multi user and security are good.
Sometimes it is harder to locacte contracts if issued by another user and put into another folder. This issue is minor however, the rest is easy to use.
Contract storage and administration
Organization and the ability to move around the platform with ease and confidence.
Capturing signatures seems to be a bit difficult since I use them daily for our government agencies
For me, it allows keeping all my documents orderly and neat. It allows me to communicate with my executive team for contract reviews along with my legal team, and with the smooth communication it makes its very efficient
I like the ability to set a signature order when going to multiple parties, and the general ease with which people can sign digitally. I also like the notifications you get when signing has taken place so you don't have to check on the website all the time. They also have a team that seems to be really committed to improving the site as they seek feedback from users.
The site design is not completely intuitive, especially if you're a new or infrequent user. For me this is two primary things: (1) There's a lot on every screen and your eyes don't know where they should be looking at all times. For example, adding and circulating a contract is somewhat of a linear process but it doesn't guide you through it like that. Instead, there's a sidebar on the right with various tabs that just don't make sense to me (2) Way too much reliance on reading everything when much of it could be converted to graphics/icons that imply the function, then simply hover over to confirm what it is if needed...similar to how we scan our smartphones for what we want--we look for images, not words. Two other things that could be improved (1) Once you've saved a bunch of contracts it starts to look kind of randomly cluttered and I'd like a way to micro-organize more. It may be a feature but our employer either didn't show us or didn't turn it on (2) When sending a contract to outside parties, you almost always have to give them a heads up it's coming so it doesn't get rejected/lost. It would be nice if you could make it appear like it's coming from the sender's email box, and/or make it painfully obvious it's coming from us (e.g., SUBJECT: So-and-so from XYZ Company is requesting your signature).
Simply put, reducing the amount of effort required to gain signatures, and having all the contracts in a centralized location rather than scattered through different peoples' personal folders.
The best I like is the friendly interface, the help tool, and the options to manage the documents.
I think that Concord could improve the detailed information about each document and the related dashboard.
Concord has been a great help to manage the contracts. It is easy to follow the expiring document. The reports are significant to management and clients as well. Concord has been essential to managing the contracts better.
Easy to use approval workflows - these have saved us a lot of time! Templates work well. Good storage and search functions.
The formatting for editing documents could be improved.
It saves us a lot of time with editing, negotiating, approving, and signature of high-volume contracts.
easy to use, well known in the finance industry
it can be better integrated with other software
ease of use for the finance department. minimizes time.
Concord is the only tool you need for all your contracts. Spend less time juggling between applications and streamline your processes.
Nothing 😊 the program is amazing since I'm dealing with such comoany😊
It's a tool to streamline your processes in contracting 😊
Navigation, easy to use, helpful helpdesk
Some features sometimes don't work, for example uploads
Contract managment
Concord has been extremely useful in collaborating to draft and review agreements, and ultimately receiving e-signatures. Prior to Concord, my organization used hardcopies which made sharing edits challenging and obtaining signatures hit and miss depending on availability of executive leadership. Since implementing Concord, the legal team has been able to share ideas and to develop well drafted clauses. Our CEO can sign from anywhere via mobile device.
Concord is a bit clunky at first and takes some getting used to. For example, when searching for a particular agreement with a specific third party, when using the "back" button Concord takes you to all documents rather than the grouping for the specific third party.
My organization is improving document review by using Concord's reporting feature which allows reporting by a specific tag. This ensures that no document is missed in the review process. The biggest benefit, however, is the ability to retrieve any document at anytime via mobile device and to facilitate the execution in a matter of seconds rather than days.
Ease of making templates, keeping track of where the document is in the process, e-signatures and a great contract depository.
The email notifications to customer's sometimes go into the spam/junk folder.
We did not have a contract management system prior to Concord.
