Our job posts look more professional with the number of words and correct wordings. The feature of having suggestions on the left side of the dashboard while creating the bar is fantastic, as using those suggestions increases the scoring. I love the suggestion box to use the better word for any sentence. English is a second language for me, but with datapeople I do not feel it bothers me.
As I use it more snd more I may know them better but at this point, None.
We used to have a very long job post for any job opening, especially adding information about our company and our parent company. Datapeople helped us tremendously in solving that issue; now, we have two small paragraphs and everything in it.
Datapeople is very simple to use. It allows me to verify the language I use for my postings to ensure that is relevant and inclusive.
As of right now, having to copy everything onto our job creation platform manually is the only inconvenience I can think of.
It helps with grammar, reducing the number of redundancies, reminding to post relevant information and using inclusive language to optimize the post.
I am very pleased with how easy it is to use and manage data people. It is a very user-friendly website which makes it a lot easier to get in there and recreate job descriptions.
I did not dislike anything about data people. I think it is very well put together and could easily be used for any employer trying to post jobs with great job descriptions.
Data people is solving how to not making job descriptions so wordy, and that really helps with posting jobs because all of the things that are not needed are cut out.
Easy to use platform. Appreciate how Datapeople provides practical, one-click recommendations for making your job posting more inclusive. Like Grammarly but for inclusive job postings.
I'd give the text/formatting editor a 7/10. Each section can only have one format (paragraph or bullets) which makes creating unique sections a bit wonky.
Without Datapeople I wouldn't be able to spot the subtle bias in my job descriptions. It helps me be more inclusive and open up my roles to a wider funnel of candidates.
This tool helps me make sure all job descriptions are inclusive and use verbiage that attracts more and diverse talent.
No dislikes on my end! Easy to use and very helpful. love that it is integrated with our databases as well.
Making inclusive job descriptions and correct vocabulary.
Datapeople has been such a huge help in making our job descriptions more inclusive. I love that the tool gives you options to replace words/phrases, etc. to better your job description instead of just pointing out where it needs to be fixed or updated.
I haven't been able to dig into the analytics too much yet, but I'm excited to try out this function as well. It would be great to be able to review market insights, etc. on here as well.
Inclusivity! We of course want to ensure our job descriptions are accurately portaying the role, while simultaneously being fair and inclusive to all potential applicants and Datapeople is making it possible!
New tool for TA that provides exponential results
There is no back button if we need to delete an action (copy/paste/cut).
This helps solve the way the job/company is portrayed to people on the other side of the screen. It's helping communication and culture be the focus on our roles and culture at Grubhub by showing the percentages, giving tips on why this sentence is not good and what words can be replaced to make it more straightforward and clear.
It is super easy to use and does not take up too much time, but it makes a huge/very positive impact!
I wish we had it integrated with our ATS system and LinkedIn Recruiter.
It helps us to make our job descriptions more inclusive which results in reaching a larger network of candidates, diversifying our pipelines, etc.
-ease of use -ability to share JD with stakeholders -scoring -how words are underlined and that Data People offers suggestions -ability to include our global template -ability to sync job description directly to our ATS
i don't have much to add here. but i noticed that our intern job descriptions get really low scoring and sometimes it feels like there's not much else we can do to update the job description.
-one stop shop for job descriptions -making our job descriptions more inclusive -ability to share job description with multiple stakeholders -providing examples for our hiring managers about what to include and what not to include in their job descriptions
I love that Datapeople simplifies job descriptions and assists with helping hiring managers understand that a lot of the information they want to put into job descriptions does not read well with candidates.
I don't like the automatic formatting setting. I typically copy and paste and put it back into my original format.
They are assisting with eliminating barriers withing job descriptions.
The word prompts to replace old vocabulary with a new one
sometimes a little hard to achieve a score of above 80
Strengthening job descriptions and help make them not so wordy
- Data driven approach - Clean UI - Easy to use and get started - Syncs easily to Greenhouse - Gives me data that I can use to show ROI on making changes to the job description - Great team! - Over time, makes you better at writing job descriptions even without the software
- There are some small bugs in the editor that make it hard to edit at times - You need to refresh the page to get the counter to start up again sometimes - If you jobs have been open for too long, your data will be stale
Ensuring we have inclusive job descriptions that will diversify our candidate pipeline and ensure that we are getting qualified candidates in. Clear data that can educate hiring managers and other stakeholders instead of having to stand on your own and validate this approach.
Love that it is a great tool to make job postings more approachable by removing unnecessary Jargon and making it look cleaner and more succinct
I don't believe there is anything I dislike about datapeople
Attracting a more diverse candidate pool by creating more inclusive job descriptions/postings
I love how Datapeople helps us save and review previous job descriptions used within the organization. The prompts and guidance make revision simple, and I particularly appreciate the attention towards using specific and inclusive language to attract the best applicants.
It is hard to include enough information in the job description, while not being labeled as 'too long' in the rating. Also, some of the alternative language suggested isn't quite right.
Datapeople is helping hiring managers of all levels of experience to write strong job descriptions to attract a robust and diverse talent pool. It has simplified the work that the recruitment team needed to put in at the initial stages of role scoping significantly.
I enjoy the suggestions Datapeople provides to help make our job postings more inclusive and attract a more diverse audience.
The text box/formatting can sometimes not be very user-friendly.
Use it to grade the language of our job postings. We're creating more inclusive job postings.
1 . Provides suggestions on inclusive language and verbiage to make JDs more appealing to the candidate 2. Allows JDs to sync immediately with ATS
Nothing. This tool has been awesome to use in my day-to-day and has significantly increased my candidate pools, and I highly recommend it to any recruiter.
Having an inclusive language that appeals to a multitude of applicants. Making job descriptions easier to understand for candidates.
Ease of use, quick updates, helpful suggestions.
the boxes are a bit clunky, have to parse job description by segments vs. one copy/paste. Slows down the job posting process.
FAST Job postings through Greenhouse, inclusive language, keeping things short, sweet and to the point.
I really enjoy how user-friendly Datapeople is.
One thing that I have found that I do not like is that Datapeople does not like the word Talent Acquisition. They are constantly asking me to replace it.
It is helping to ensure that my job descriptions are unbias and will perform well which I appreciate.
I love how Datapeople is very easy to use and collaboration is top of mind. Throughout my time as a customer, I always felt valued by the CSM team. It's an amazing tool for high-growth companies.
Nothing major, but it's difficult to explain the ROI to executives when a company is only hiring the same positions year-round.
Datapeople helps hiring teams identify and influence the best verbiage to use during a tough job market. I saw myself going into Datapeople every day. Highly encourage every company to try it.
DataPeople is very easy to use. The scoring system for job description focuses the team on the most important changes and pushes them to make them. I can't speak to other products on the market but I have been very satisfied with it and it has met the needs of my team.
The online editor can be a bit slow for me sometimes which can make it harder to use than it needs to be. I wish it had a better integration with our ATS (Recruiterbox) but I understand why it doesn't have one.
Datapeople has helped my team write job descriptions that get more and better applicants. It's a real help to hiring managers and I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from teams that have used it.
