INK is one of my secret weapons in prepping for new client meetings. Especially now, an organization's digital presence is top of mind. INK gives me an added selling point and a nuanced touch to offer a more robust and well-rounded growth approach for new customers.
Some key elements are almost hidden and a little hard to find. I like the minimal design but it can create a slight learning curve.
Even without an SEO background, I'm able to do a full analysis of a company's content and how it stacks up against their main digital competitors. I'm able to confidently point to improving digital marketing and SEO as another way to boost leads and increase sales, which is not something every customer development manager does despite the increasing importance of online branding.
How organized it is. The outlining feature helps keep complex topics organized. All of the suggestions are relevant and spot on. It doesn't miss anything. It thinks of everything so I can just focus on writing. I also appreciate the focus mode setting and usually write with dark mode on. Both help me concentrate and write faster.
The one complaint I had was resolved immediately. The feedback button directs your questions or issues directly to the developers and they get in touch quickly. Excellent service with creative solutions.
A former client was impressed with some of my assessments. She complimented my way of explaining very complex techniques and solutions in a relatable way. She encouraged me to write articles to share some of these with the community. I had no time for writing and don't really have a writing background. I looked into it but writing web content, even just simple "how to" articles, seemed daunting. She recommended this editor. A few months later, I came back to the idea and started writing in Ink. It made writing easy, helps me focus, and is incredibly fast. I like the way it makes everything involved in writing an article easy and organized.
How much this small startup has done in such a short time is impressive. On one hand, they clearly have an advanced understanding of the industry and how search works. On the other hand, they have a very personal understanding of the market and what it needs. I'm very familiar with Google products and know search well, INK has managed to package sophisticated AI and semantic research into a remarkably easy-to-use and aesthetically pleasing tool.
It's almost too minimalist. The design under-represents just how powerful this tool really is.
The team was able to get rid of most of the costly SEO tools we were using and rely on INK instead. No real learning curve, so practically everyone on the team was able to open the app and start work. Has also cut down on the back-and-forth and blockers between teams and has actually helped to better integrate Marketing, Strategy, and Customer Dev.
It's user-friendliness and simplicity. I know it's doing a lot of complex calculations in the background but you would never know it. Always super fast and responsive. Never any lag or timeouts like I've had with some other editors.
INK isn't perfect — yet. However, the team rolls out regular updates to introduce new features and address any issues.
I wanted to turn some of my expertise into blog posts to help establish more professional credibility in my field. I wanted a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to learn SEO since I'm fairly new to it, found INK for All on Product Hunt awhile back. It's made writing search engine-optimized content a whole lot easier for me. I trialed a few other tools but when the free trials ended, I stuck with INK. It's been really inconvenient for me to switch from one tool to another to check spelling and then SEO, etc. INK's editor has everything I need in a single app. Just saved me a lot of time and frustration so I can focus on the writing.
If our messaging and content perfectly align with our target audiences, I feel like I'm doing my job right. I have to make sure we're targeting the right audiences for our product. It's crucial that I profoundly understand not just what our audiences are looking for but also their expectations when they find it. Impeccable intent research combined with INK is my key to success here.
Their team could definitely do a better job of telling their story. They have a truly game-changing product and they could make that value clearer to their users. The app does so much that it might be difficult to pull it all together in a clear message but the bottom line is that it works.
I'm confident our materials meet our audience's expectations better than the competition. I know I'm speaking their language, meeting their expectations, and amplifying our brand every step of the way.
It makes it incredibly easy to create content that attracts the leads we're after and provide as much value to them as possible.
I would like to see them add a keyword research function.
In early 2020, I was given the responsibility to come up with new ways to engage with potential leads. Immediately thought to revamp our blog around a series of industry-relevant "How-to" articles. This app gave me a clear way to understand if our content is relevant to our target audience. Also makes it easy to understand exactly what we need to do to bring as much value to our audience as possible.
The fact that they thought to build in a Dyslexia mode. I don't know how many other Dyslexic writers there are out there but I was truly touched that this app includes this.
They need to show off their features more! Maybe send more emails that showcase features like the Dyslexia Mode.
Less time spent checking and double-checking and triple-checking my work for any errors, less time writing in general. My daughter was also recently diagnosed with Dyslexia and she's using INK for school work. I love that even though it's designed for SEO, it has these accessibility modes that are useful for any kind of writing. Like with my daughter, she just closes out the SEO part and it never bothers or interrupts her.
I like the way it's set up the best. Everything I need is accessible and easy to understand. It has a simple layout that never overwhelms you even though the editor does so much. I never feel like I missed anything, I always feel like our content is engaging and error-free and optimized for each of our very different audiences. We own several restaurants in the Seattle area and staying on top of local SEO is crucial for our visibility and keeping blogs, posts, menus, content, etc. organized for all of them can be dizzying and so time consuming. I love how this editor makes staying organized intuitive and creating local SEO content fast and easy.
I need more functionality around local competition and niche-specific local SEO. The score tells me generally how optimized my content is for local keywords but I'd love to be able to drill down on specific competitors
We are CRUSHING local keywords compared to our competitors. Over the last few months, we set the goal of being the top result for "best bbq in seattle" and INK helped us take it! We noticed the last set of blog posts we did for one of our chains made it in the top 5 on Google for their keywords. Also noticed our time on page increased by about 30 percent. In general, just saving so much time and not being stressed out about how well we're doing digitally.
