Liquid Web gives us a viable alternative to AWS and other cloud services. They are reliable and responsive and I used them across multiple businesses.
Don't dislike too much. Haven't had problems.
LW's Managed Hosting gives me the benefit of a Virtual Private Server but more service than the better known cloud services. It has enabled me/us to devise, create and deploy a web solution quickly and efficiently.
LiquidWeb has seemed to really pick up these past few years. They have taken on our projects and been able to deal with all of our support requests, and their support team actually knows what they are doing!
Their website isn't very intuitive and it seems like I have to click 50 buttons to get into the Cloud Site Hosting, which seems a bit ridiculous.
HIPAA Compliant Servers, Cloud Shared Hosting, VPS.
We didn't choose Liquid Web, they bought out our previous host. They managed the transistion better than anticipated and were quick to solve for any issues.
They haven't clearly communicated the value or improvements to their services.
Web hosting for multiple websites.
We rarely have outages with them. They are usually relatively fast to address outages when we do have them. Often it's just a simple reboot required, but they are willing to troubleshoot with me.
When we signed up, we were sold a plan that didn't meet our needs and all of our sites dropped. It was a rough time for about a week, as we tried to do duct tape fixes, then ultimately switched to a higher plan. I wish that my needs would have been fully analyzed during the initial setup process, in order to avoid any outages.
I use Liquid Web Managed Hosting for personal sites and for B2B hosting of client sites under my care.
24/7 chat and phone support with real people who don't try to sell you something every contact point.
It's pricey for sure - not the cheapest option.
I am using VPS for wordpress sites to speed them up and get them to rank better in google. Support is important to me as competitors have been wasting my time.
I have hosted with 10 different companies and so far Liquid Web has the most responsive customer service.
The interface is a little dated and overall the servers are slower than top tier hosting like AWS
No real apparent problems, they take customer service seriously which is great.
It's very easy to use. You can have a WordPress site running in just a couple of minutes.
It's slow outside the US. It has no support for continuous integration.
My clients use it for small WordPress-powered sites.
Their management software is good and their underlying technology appears strong
Business practices and support not to my liking
Successfully hosting sites on a Windows server and a Linux (Wordpress) servers. Both work fine
Liquid Web support is generally fairly responsive. Hosted sites are stable with minimal downtime that we've noticed.
The admin interface doesn't expose a whole lot in the way of functionality, and certain features such as Wildcard SSL certs aren't supported in the Cloud Sites product.
Providing centrally managed hosting for multiple customers with minimal difficulty.
My experience with Liquid Web have not been positive.
They purchased/merged with a company that we have used for years. The other company had great customer service, easy to contact and ask questions. Have not had that experience with Liquid Web. They are also changing services that we had and cause an increase in cost to us.
I have not realized benefits yet.
