Limited capabilities in terms of formatting when it comes to API triggered emails. Difficult to access campaign data in list view. Not everything is clickable/accesible. Takes a while to navigate through the platform.
It is helping in designing marketing mails & executing bulk campaigns easily. Provides checklist on email deliverability across multiple devices and browsers. Provides option to trigger email via API. We use these features for generating leads and keeping our customers engaged by delivering them personalised content.

The template designer/editor is very restricted. It does not let you use basic shortcuts like copy paste from the keyword. The selection is not very smooth. basic shortucuts like undo while typing doesnt work. few more template designer options would be better if added

One of the best features of Mailmodo is its drag-and-drop email builder, which makes it easy for users to design visually appealing emails without any coding skills. We don't use some additional AMP functions like forms, surveys, quizzes, and countdown timers but are willing to extend the product to match the cases. I like the fact that Mailmodo integrates with popular email services providers like Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, and Sendinblue, making it easy to use with your existing email marketing tools. The compatibility with Hubspot makes working with segments and actions designed in Hubspot easier. Mailmodo also provides detailed analytics to track the performance of your email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and engagement metrics. This allows users to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve their results.
It would be great if Mailmodo offered a direct integration with Data Warehousing (DWH) platforms, enabling users to create their emails using data from their warehouse. With such integration, users would have access to the most current and relevant data to craft their emails, resulting in more personalized and targeted messages. By directly connecting to a DWH, I don't have to bother with wiring API calls and do additional data engineering.
We were searching for a more cost-effective substitute to Mailchimp that offers greater benefits to B2B SaaS firms. While I have not personally tested Mailmodo, I am intrigued by the platform's capability to address the problem of low engagement rates that arise from dull and unstimulating emails.

Trying to optimize for user churn on emails and improve email marketing performance
Reducing user fritctions means the possibility of capturing more & faster email responses.
It's documentation on setting up SMTP services is too high level. The error messages are sometimes not actionable. Last but not least, it takes a long time and possibly additional attention to get AMP approvals.
Reduce dop outs in email based campagigns.
It is a good solution for its price: it gives you flexibility in setting terms and conditions for sending emails.
It is quite a simple solution compared to other alternatives (Mailchimp, Intercom, etc)
Mailmodo lets you send mass emails (newsletters) and triggered emails. We decided to try it because of triggered emails where you can set conditions for the email campaigns.
