Fast development and change maintenance. Easy to use for someone without a big background experience in technology so good to teach also.

Easy to use, easy to learn from someone that comes from a different technology .NET or JAVA for instance.

The easy way to export data information and create the data table relation, with low knowledge ER systems.

The butterfly effect. With a minimal change there is not a easy way to update all the dependencies.

The Outsystems platform is the best way to reduce the time to market in all types of it projects, reduce direct and indirect costs and the overall number of elements of the development team is smaller then comparing with other it development platforms..

The offline capability of the platform is not yet the best way to mobile programming, but is growing in that direction. The silkui is other part that in my opinion needs more development, and growing to became more usability in larger projects sutch as insurance it.

All inquiry and expertise bussness is being managed in outsystems platform based applications, and all the users are very happy with it. The time to market achived with the platform is another benefict to all the parts envolved in the development process. The number of developers is other benefict of outsystems platform.

It's great. From the ease of integration and the fastest generation of apps, to the eye-appealing apps with the silk ui widgets which saves a lot of time and lines of code doing all the same functionalities all over again.

Sometimes we are a bit tied up to the way Outsystems does things. Since it does a lot of automatic stuff some you would like to make it other way. It should be easier to develop hand made code sometimes

User interface in multiple platforms, and heavy data processing via batch. Application to manage bad credit in banking, where it is used by more than 1000 users at a time.

The Ability to Rapidly deliver business value. We were able to get to a Business Relevant level of development, which added value, within 2 weeks, with weekly improvements thereafter.

I have been working with Outsystems since 2008, as Consultant I have used the Outsystems platform to delivery several projects for several companies.

"Mr. Sulu, set the development engine speeds to warp 10 and everyone brace yourselves." It's this feeling we get whenever we start developing with this platform.

Honestly, the big reason why I chose OutSystems for my firm is because I've not found anything that I truly DISLIKE. Trust me, that is hard to believe. I know, I can't believe I am saying this. For 25+ years as a technology leader, I've waiting for such a platform. It's now REAL.

The customer support and the training that's behind the OutSystems Platform. I also love their Next Steps event which I feel that they go all out letting us know what's next and where the OutSystems organization stands.

I am really satisfied with the OutSystems platform as well as the new 10 version which is more that my capability so I am excited!

Speed of development and ease of integration with existing platforms. As someone who has spent a career in IT, but never been a "developer", I was able to create a fairly complex application that seamlessly integrates with our existing databases. True Change is pretty amazing - you make a change in one place and it corrects it in other areas of your application.

The software usage in the pricing model is a bit difficult to understand. Forecasting the software usage/consumption of a new project is not easy to do. The support forum is a user community. While it is a great resource, if it is your only means of finding an answer to a problem it can take too long to get an answer.

We replaced a paper volunteer application with an online version. The time required to complete the application was reduced from days to hours. As a non-profit that needs more than 1,000 volunteers per year to staff our mission, this was a huge step forward in our recruiting process.

As a old-time c# coder I love the fact I can focus on solving business problems instead of technical issues. I have no worries about dependencies and low-level stuff. Furthermore the TrueChange is awesome. I really have no trouble to refactor, move methods around and clean up stuff. Maintenance is fun as well. The new features in P10 is very welcome for the mobile department as well as the desktop environment.

As a lowcode platform it lacks certain flexibility, but those are only edge cases nowadays. Ofcourse the versioning could have some loving by check-in comments but it's all in the nitpicking categories. As long as it don't evolve in a old-school IDE i can manage most of the dislikes. There is no perfect tool and there never will be.

All sorts of business problems, from invoicing, webshops and plain websites. The speed of change and flexibility is the biggest benefit. The easy of refactoring datamodels and simple yet effective way of implementing security measures is a big plus. Customers see how easy and fast changes are implemented and are very happy with it and are becoming more active in the development itself instead of waiting in the backroom to see what it has become.

Being a special snowflake in software engineering by not being so fond of coding lines of code, Outsystems is a dream come true. I can focus on functionality and delivering results rather than spending hours searching for how I sholuld do this and that.

Since I've only started to work with Outsystems 8 months ago, there isn't much I could dislike, For now, at platform 9 is the time a publish takes to get to the Done status and refreshing all references through a bunch of e-spaces.

I am migrating aspx.net code to Outsystems and I've noticed how quickly and neatly one can make a simple change and put it online for testing/production, etc.

Very easy to use, allows a complete novice to enter the IT world and make great apps in a very fast and rather simply way.

Sometime it can be very tricky to understand what is the errors that the system signals, specially in the service center monitoring screen. Also it can be difficult to use JavaScript since the the field of input looks just like a string where we don't have any feedback for the code.

I am currently improving and doing maintenance for an already in use app, two year old, that process timesheets for company and client employees, and their salary processing also. The app is made in avery tricky and confused way, the lack of proper documentation process or a very simple and direct way to see the relation of all the eSpaces in use.
