SpotDraft is quite intuitive, and has great user functionality. I'm a new user of the platform and have been very impressed so far.
The only downside I've noticed is that when a dropdown box is pulled up the options from which to choose are not alphabetized.
Ease of sending contracts for signature and execution. This saves time on the front end, and speeds up the overall process.
The personalized help on zoom where we can see screens of actual items in real-time while a live person answers our questions
Sometimes it's hard to follow because some words get lost in translation.
We are fine-tuning the program to what best fits our company's needs.
The automation element of letter generation with the inputs provided to the system. This helps us save a lot of our time from manual inputs being provided every time.
I don't specifically have one to talk about it.
We have multiple systems from which we get inputs that go into the process of letter generation. Spotdraft supports integration with all leading platforms to enable a smooth data flow.
It is user-friendly. Not too complicated with too many features, which may be irrelevant.
Nothing as of n ow! It is very good tool.
Execution of the contract is faster compared to the physical implementation.
All the contracts at one place. Easy to track for renewals and download drafts.
The UI can be made more attractive. Tool tips can be introduced to help users navigate on the application.
Easy to maintain contracts, NDAs, MSAs, etc
We started using SpotDraft for its searchable repository and the platform works seamlessly, it caters to all your contracting needs from creation to signing. We find the product highly convenient and their team has provided us with great after-sales support.
Having a column indicating the unique reference ID on the dashboard would have made it easier to run a search.
We have started end to end contract initiation on Spotdraft, this has reduced the number of back and forths among different teams to keep a check on the progress of the contract.
I like that I have all my contacts in one place where I can easily determine when they expire, who signed them and what other documents are associated with the contract. Having the review process available to our sales team so they always know the status of their contract negotiations is a big bonus, they no longer have to send emails to Legal to find out the status of their contracts, I also have to say that the customer onboarding has been a great experience. It took us a while to adopt the product because of our issues and they were very patient with us. They are very responsive to any changes or suggestions to our workflow that have been requested. Really great experience.
I haven't been using it long enough to find the dislikes. Like I said as I found issues or problems with how we work with the product, Spotdraft has made the improvements that solved any operating issues.
Just knowing that all the legal documents are all in one place now is a big plus. Trying to find contracts in the past has been problematic.
The onboarding experience, the time consuming, was highly tailored for our needs.
Certain features / functions are not as well developed on the platform as you'd expect.
Suits our complicated corporate structured chart; integrated with tools used by the rest of the team; e-signature tool.
The summary of each contract. Let me submit.
The initial uploading of contracts is time-consuming.
We wanted a tool to extract specific data points from each agreement.
I find Spotdraft (SD) to be innovative in general. They are trying to solve a very tough problem. We have been using SD for all our customer contracts for over a year now. Initially, it took time for our sales team to adapt to a new tool, but now they use it every day! Unlike other conventional tools which only solves for e-sigining, SD gives you a platform to manage all your contracts and redlining at one place. The editor feature is definitely a diffrentiator which our Legal team enjoys the most. Apart from the product, the service has been great. The CSM and PM, both are very reachable and always give importance to your issues. They listen to you not only for bugs but also for important new features and make sure that they are delivered in due course of time.
Reaching out to SD team to add a new template every time is one of the minus points. If they could provide a platform for users to create and manage the templates on their, it would save a lot of time. Apart from that, nothing alarming as such. Some features are missing, but they will come in due course of time.
- Standardisation of contractual templates - Ease of use and ease of contracts creation for end-users - Centralised management of all Customer and vendor contracts
I appreciate how easy Spotdraft makes contract initiation/ drafting for business teams, which reduces room for errors.
Execution on stamp paper remains an essential aspect of contract execution which feature is not available as of now.
1. Contract initiation has become less cumbersome as business teams can directly put the necessary information via the questionnaire. 2.Key pointers help give a complete overview of the Agreement. 3.It's easier to track the progress of a draft and have all versions in one place.
Their system is straightforward, intuitive and easy to use, both for administrators and users, who have adapted to it very quickly. Their after sales support is fantastic, with a team lead by Ishita Sharma who are always keen and happy to help with any queries and deliver training. They are a pleasure to deal with.
I think their system has got so much potential it will be great to see what they develop next.
Our contract management has become much easier, freeing our legal team's time to deal with other matters. Our sales team feels empowered to get the deals through quickly without referring all contracts to the legal team.
The product is easy to use. It caters to all the nuances you encounter while drafting or executing a contract. They have a responsive and hands-on team.
Not much to dislike. It would be great if we can have external add-ins that are available on word integrated onto the editing tool in the product.
Creating counter-party-specific profiles and having their contracting history in one place. Contract management is way easier with SpotDraft.
Great product and great support team!!!!
Nothing particularly. Product is pretty good and comprehensive.
Automation for contract drafting.
The team offers customization of the product based on the requirements suited to each organization. The overall user experience is great.
Sometimes additional information gets captured automatically when its not required. I'm sure this can be fixed.
Tracking each stage of a contract has never been easier and this keeps you up to date with the pending work.
SpotDraft is an one stop solution for us to store and manage all the contracts at a single place.
Nothing much to dislike at this moment but yes they definitely can introduce AI into their system
SpotDraft has made the management and generation of contracts quite easy for us. It has helped us to automate most part of the contract generation. Now we can easily create and send out to contracts from a single place.
The team is simply fantastic and extremely responsive. The product works very well for our use case - streamlining approval collection for purchase orders. During the implementation phase, we had a dedicated customer success manager who sat with us, understood our pain points and was able to configure our platform in such a way that the time taken to close purchase orders has reduced to under a day. Additionally, all our purchase orders with various vendors are stored in the SpotDraft repository along with a quick summary which allows us to easily access and review these documents whenever necessary.
During the initial days, it felt like the product was extremely raw and we had to keep reaching out to customer support to get our issues resolved. Things have gotten a lot better now though. As I said in my previous answer, the team is very responsive to feedback.
When running a hospital, there are lot of things that need to be frequently purchased - from syringes, gloves and OT masks to more more expensive equipment such as an OCT machine for the Cathlab. Initially, the entire process of approving these purchase orders were very manual. The purchasing department will stand around outside the CEO's office or my office to get the necessary approvals & signatures so that an order can be placed. This has been completely streamlined with SpotDraft. The purchase order is generated on SpotDraft by the purchasing department and approvals are automatically requested from various people in the hospital based on the nature of the request - eg. over a specific order value will end up requiring an approval from the CEO as well as the MD. Additionally, we have had situations of the purchase order being misplaced and people spending way too much time hunting for these orders later down the line. This has also been eliminated by SpotDraft. While this was not as much of an issue earlier, we are also getting our HR documents (agreements with consultants, nurses, other staff) on SpotDraft so that we have one source of truth for everything.
Ease of use, intuitive and a strong responsive support team.
It is a new product, not a polished finished product yet in some respects. This is not always bad since customers have input on areas to improve.
Templates and intuitive workflows have helped with employee engagement and efficiency.
The platform is user-friendly, and the UI/UX is easy to use and navigate. The customer success team is prompt in answering questions and responsive and helpful.
Nothing as such. The platform was new when I used it.
We are storing our vendor agreements and contracts in the repository, and pulling reports from the repository is very convenient. We are using it to sign contracts as well.
The E-sign feature is pretty handy, along with the ease of access in raising new Requests
Sometimes editing contracts, is full of bugs and lags, over the editor tool
Their Help team is pretty active and they are fixing bugs soon, everyday
SpotDraft has helped us templatize our complex contracts, and created a process that is intuitive for our business teams. The team is also responsive and open to ideas and suggestions. We also get on regular calls to brainstorm on ideas which would make the contracting process easier and less time consuming
Templatization and process mapping were a little challenging. Solutions were effort and time-intensive for both of the parties involved. A self-serve platform where we can customize the templates and fields would be very helpful.
SpotDraft as a CLM tool has changed the way we function and streamlined our contracting process. The team has helped us collate all our historical contracts in one repository for easy reference. SpotDraft has also helped us recreate our approval process on the platform and made contracting a lot faster. Further, the integration with DealHub (which is on the SpotDraft roadmap) will help us streamline our buyer journey from quote to contract.
User interface, ease of use, customer support
Some aspects of the platform are not intuitive. Real-time graphics/statistics on the platform would be great too.
Time management, offering that one source of truth for the organization,
user friendly, easy to access and understand
I dont see any issues with it currently.
Ease of moving ahead with the contracts without any hassles amongst the team is well appreciated
Spotdraft provides a pretty good legal work flow management tool. The product offers all the required steps in the life cycle of a contract, from contract drafting to sending to internal teams to finally sending out to the client for execution and storage at the end.
If we can integrate more measures around version control, especially when a draft is received from the counterparty, it will be super helpful! The Spotdraft team is aware of this and is working on this product feature. Hopefully, we get to see this pretty soon!
Spotdraft is helping solve the entire workflow management relating to legal contracts. From the draft stage to enabling multiple teams working on it to sending it to external parties for signature and finally storage/ retrieval of the contracts.
Being able to access contracts worked on by other teammates.
There are some bugs in the Platform and sometimes there is a lag.
We are able to acess documents worked on by all members of our team on one platform. Earlier we had to write emails requesting for the signed agreement to the entire team.
The best thing about Spotdraft is the report generation, this saves us from a lot of manual efforts that would be required to track the status of the agreement.
I do not like the fact that it is not integrated with google. A lot of things would be resolved if all the agreements can be tracked in one particular trail and the tracking of it becomes difficult on different mail trails
It is making the manual management of the contracts easier and saving a lot of time. The templates present in spotdraft help in closing the agreements in a more efficient and quicker way.
The best part with SpotDraft has been the level of customization the tool has been able to support in terms of the agreement workflows. Our agreements get kinda complicated yet we have them all well set within the platform. Also, amazing support from the team.
The platform didn't feel as intuitive during the early days after switching from our previous contract management platform. However, you get used to it over time. A nice feature to have would be the ability to send the contracts as an SMS right of out the platform.
It allows our team to create various templates for the different departments (Sales, CS, Partnership, Legal, HR, etc.) and all of these are highly customizable.
Central control over all contract templates
There is no mechanism to switch between brands across the Group
We have a lot of separate teams engaging with clients and Spotdraft allows us to control what elements of contracting the team can deal with direct, and what needs central approval
Spotdraft has undoubtedly the best customer support service, it has quite flexible inbuilt workflows which can be tweaked to fit any business requirements. It has a pre-signing and pre-send approval setup which can help any organisation to maintain/monitor the contract hygiene.
Spotdraft TAT for setting up a new template is slightly disappointing as it may take 4 - 5 business days which is not great if you have only one contract management tool to rely on!
Spotdraft is an end-to-end contract management tool, it has helped my organisation maintain contract hygiene and clean approval workflow.
