I’ve tried a lot of to-do apps and this is one of the ones I’ve enjoyed the most. It is very intuitive and simple to use, the on-boarding is fantastic and you’ll be productive in the app in a matter of minutes. I appreciate the fact that it has clients for all platforms, both desktop, and mobile, which in my opinion is a staple of any serious app of this kind.
I just wish they offered native application on macOS, but other than that I don’t see any issues with this software.
I absolutely love Todoist. I've become more productive and reliable since I started using free software. I love Todoist! It makes it so much easier to keep track of my daily tasks so I don't accidentally forget anything. my favorite feature is that I can categorize different tasks so I know which ones are the most important that I need to get done first. the mobile app and desktop app sync is super helpful for adding tasks on the go.
Having an online task management system is wonderful, especially when you have so many responsibilities in tow. Order has been key in increasing my performance. Todoist is simple and complete. We make the list and program. It has reminders and can also be added agoogle calendar
The system of payment plans I do not like because we can not distribute this payment in fractions that are more comfortable for us.
Organization and planning of my daily activities within the company, this drives me and reminds me to meet my daily goals.
One of the great benefits is to be able to include all the work team in a single platform, so you can evaluate who is responsible and the dates they have for each task assigned. It is a very efficient platform to organize work and who should respond. It is the intelligent virtual assistant that helps you not to have scattered spaces within your work teams.
So far I don't have anything negative to say about Todoist. Its worth to mention maybe that is a cloud-based tool but it synced well on all devices.
Personally, I have managed to improve my organization and be able to meet clients without forgetting anything. Reminders and being able to share tasks, has improved the performance of the daily activities that I acquire. Each project I set up with subtasks, due dates and reminders were done within minutes. I really like the color-coding options and the recurring tasks which can be set up once and done with it. Its Karma feature shows exactly how much time was spend on a project and helps decide if maybe the focus should be switch to a more pressing task.
Ease of use. The ux and UI of todist is great. It's really easy to manage projects and tasks within a project
I think the Karma features is a bit pointless.
Managing daily workload. Improved productivity and ability to empty my brain into one place
Beautiful, clean design. Very user-friendly with powerful features that don't overwhelm the beginner users, but are useful as one gets deeper and more advanced into using it.
My only complaint is I wish there was in this software was a way to add these items to my calendar. I use Google Calendars, and it would be really nice to be able to take a task and place it on my calendar schedule as well to keep my life super organized.
I used Todoist a few years back and loved it. I then switched to a different platform for one reason or another but ended up coming back to Todoist for its ease of use and ability to have recurring tasks. I use it for my personal tasks as well as for my business tasks. I use Todoist for both my personal task manager as well as my business task manager.
Todoist is a very competitive tool in the market, it has all the appropriate features so as not to overload the platform with too many functions. It is very well designed and organized. It has excellent synchronization with Outlook and other third-party tools. It is excellent for recurring tasks.
The only thing that I consider negative of Todoist during the months I have been using the tool is the large number of notifications that it presents, there are some that are important but the vast majority are not. Regarding the rest it is very complete and satisfactory to work on it.
We can organize tasks according to our priorities, and thus be able to be more productive in addition to being fully focused on an objective. Also thanks to rains of ideas we can handle Todoist so that they stay dormant and not let them lose. Excellent to organize your business.
Todoist is a simple to use application that allows you to create and edit to-do lists that significantly improve the organization of your work and team. The main advantage of Todoist is the fact that this solution is available completely free of charge for mobile and web users so that users can use Todoist on a chosen operating system. Todoist allows you to assign label tasks and move them between different lists, so you can easily and pleasantly organize tasks in groups and subgroups. It is worth mentioning that the Todoist interface is very simple and pleasant to use, so we can with one mouse movement to create a new task or edit them.
When using Todoist, I did not notice any significant flaws.
Thanks to using Todoist I save a lot of time because I plan my day, so I don't miss important meetings and deadlines.
I like the application and the way to classify the tasks, you can also prioritize and classify the tasks and give them higher or lower priorities.
Nothing that I can think of. The desktop and mobile version are both great. Although, in the mobile version I feel that it has more limits than the desktop version.
This app has just enough features that you can customize your to-do list but not too many that it's hard to learn. Very intuitive. It allows for multiple sublists, with deadlines, priority levels (which correspond to colors), and a master list of "next task for 7 days."
Slick interface, easy to use, even perhaps pretty. Very easy to integrate with other tools, and it works just about anywhere you need to track tasks.
The project management functionality (splitting your todos into projects) just didn't really do it for me and felt difficult to manage.
Individual task tracking.
Since it is a multiplatform application, you can synchronize information from one device to another in real time without delays or difficulty. It integrates very well to email, accounts with different functions and tools to measure your progress and productivity, is easy to use
I would perhaps like to have more options to customize the interface design and make it a little more animated.
I have used it when I have had several projects underway and need to organize my time and share tasks with my co-workers. It gives me a clear perspective of the time I have available for each task and that consequently gives me very productive positive results.
There is an option to create different projects which makes it easier to organize tasks. I also like that I can prioritize tasks based on importance.
You cannot add comments or uploads to tasks unless you have premium.
I can work on multiple projects and keep track of the progress of each project.
Todoist excels in two areas - one, the natural language abilities for writing a task cannot be beat. When writing a task you can easily type "every third Thursday" or "next Monday" and even more complex phrases. It doesn't seem like a huge deal, but when I've used other task managers, going to a calendar and manually clicking around for dates and times feels very primitive compared to Todoist's capabilities. Second, the interface is pleasant and easy to use, and is on literally EVERY platform/OS I can think of. The Windows 10 app is very slick, and the Android app is very lightweight, quick, and easy to look at. I don't have as much experience with other interfaces but the iOS app looks very sharp, too. It has a lot of additional bells and whistles - location-based reminders, team sharing, color coding, etc. - but those two features, for me, make it the best app to use to manage tasks.
Here's my one dislike: no start dates. Todoist is based around the idea of due dates as a task management system, and seems to stubbornly resist the idea of "start dates" - i.e. I don't want to see this task before date X. I've figured out workarounds - labeling tasks with "not ready" etc. - but I really wish this was an option. But it's not a huge deal and doesn't really affect my workflow that much.
Todoist just helps me stay on top of tasks. With the huge number of tasks most of us have in a day, just keeping track of them can become overwhelming if you don't have a good system. Todoist has let me stay focused on task completion rather than task tracking, and that alone makes it worth it.
I like that Todoist makes going through tasks feel like a game, which has definitely improved my productivity. It has a free version and is easy to set up and use.
I think it is not designed very well for Android, sometimes it closes or errors appear, but in Windows and Chrome works great.
Super simple ease of use - everything is intuitive, and you can tell they invested a significant amount of resources into making this app as easy to use as possible. I make the joke, but honestly, they have done a great job at helping you use their service as little as possible because it does what you need it to do and then you don't have to waste any more time from there.
I love the ease of use with this product!! It is easy enough to use that it was a very simple integration with the rest of the company. It has made it so much easier to add tasks with the app and also being able to email myself the tasks to the list. There are also great learning tools.
I truthfully don't have anything that I don't like. Maybe making it easier when replying to emails that have the task list emails attached. Currently, it makes a new task every time there is a reply. It would be beneficial to have the replies go to the original task.
Great way to keep me and other team members on task and manage projects with multiple team members - great for scheduling and deadlines. Integration with Google Calendar is KEY and makes task-lists very easy to visualize. Email reminders are also very helpful without being overwhelming.
Todoist is a very powerful application for managing tasks to perform and organization of time. The main advantage of this application is that in addition to Android, it is also available for iOS, popular web browsers and as add-ons for Outlook and Thunderbird. Another advantage of Todoist is the ability to set 4 levels of priorities for created tasks so that we can determine the order of tasks to be performed. The significant advantage that I noticed is that the Todoist keeps statistics for us, thanks to which we can learn a lot and the full story thanks to which we know how much we have done or how many tasks have not been done.
While using the Todoist I didn't notice any significant drawbacks that could affect my opinion about this product, the only drawback is that we can't easily restore the removed task.
Thanks to planning the day in Todoist, I manage time better, and as you know, time is money.
I like the simple, user friendly interface. Sometimes, the less options there are the better.
I don't like the inbox feature. It's confusing to me, and I find myself trying to get out of it frequently.
Using Todoist at work gives me a sense of accomplishment - checking something off a list is a great feeling. Also, it helps me compartmentalize and divide my tasks.
I like being able to see all my tasks in one place. It’s also really satisfying to check them off as I complete them. The interface is pretty nice as well, and it does the job.
There isn’t really anything in particular I dislike about this; it serves the function that I need it to.
One thing ya really helped with is in my work as an Events Manager. I’m able to make lists of tasks for other board members and streamline everything while still making sure everybody knows their tasks for the week.
Simple to use and learn. Great to coordinate team work and to control deliverables. Multi platform allows for all time all place collaboration and coordination.
No practical mean to do backups. A more flexible mean to categorize tasks are need it. Better dashboards for capacity planning.
Service delivering control. Capacity planning. Quality control.
Because it's cross-platform, it can work on everything from Gmail to Outlook to Android to IOS. It's so customizable for your own system and the sync feature allows you to keep track of everything no matter what device you are on.
Sometimes using Todoist for simple tasks can take more time to create the task than if I ever just to do it right away. That's not really the software fault as it is more a task-oriented attitude. At times, it can be a bit obtrusive of your screen space if you're only working on one computer. The calendar syncing can be faulty and doesn't work very well with Google Calendar.
The biggest thing is that it integrates with my email allowing me to see everything at a glance. By being able to incorporate my tasks along with current emails, nothing slips by. Which gives me a great efficiency to get things done!
LOVE Todoist. Keeps our team organized, and I like that I can share checklists with team members. Helps me keep my work items organized in one space. I also like that I can set reminders and prioritize items and assign items to my coworkers.
Haven't had any issues with the platform yet. A few features not available to free users.
Keeps our team all on our page since we work from different locations. Cuts back on email communication since we can just log into our account and see what tasks are getting worked on and what tasks are completed.
I love that it is an easy, beautiful interface to manage my tasks on my mac or iphone. The integration with Siri is essential to my workflow.
I do no like how sometimes it does not sync between devices and I have to go in and double check which was the latest change. I also do not like how many notifications it sends/
I've seen more productivity and communication in my team. I've also seen more productivity in myself at work AND at home!
A clean interface combined with useful features makes Todoist a great tool for keeping yourself or your team on task. I really enjoy the ability to group tasks into projects or labels and organize based on priority. The productivity score feature is a great measure of how well you're crossing items off your list regularly.
While the desktop app is extremely useful, I felt like the phone app doesn't have quite the same utility. I'm also a very visual person, so it would be great to incorporate different color codes into tasks or projects. I also wish the act of completing an item had a little more gamification and reward to it.
Todoist allows me to see what I need to accomplish at a quick glance. As a writer I can keep track of due dates as well as other miscellaneous subtasks and notes on tasks. I definitely feel like my productivity has improved since using Todoist.
It makes it easier and more motivating to meet deadlines. It also ensures everything gets done in a company where theres many tasks
Hard to discover all the options and features of the product at first.
making sure everything gets done when there are many tasks to do
I just love how lightweight and sleek this app is. The design is great and makes using the app so easy. Adding, tracking and completing tasks is easy because of the simplicity of the app. Another lovely feature is that is syncs across all of my devices, thus ensuring my tasks are available to me wherever I am. Color coding tasks is an other very useful feature that I love and use a lot.
I really cannot think of anything. This apps does what it's meant to do. I'm totally satisfied with it.
This app helps me stay organized. It's incredibly useful for planning my day to day activities, and helps ensure I accomplish set goals.
Todoist keeps all my lists separate but easily accessible all in one place. It's simple to jump from one thing to another.
I wish I could assign tasks on various lists to project team members.
Task management. I'm able to track the progress of mutliple projects and hundreds of tasks all in one place.
It is a very solid task management application, with an excellent technical support, multiplatform of fast synchronization, it is a personal assistant with all the necessary tools
To access more tools such as commenting, scheduling reminders, it is necessary to have the premium account
It is a reliable and simple personal assistant, you organize yourself in a structured and easy way, you begin to be more effective in the fulfillment of your objectives
Organize your day to day in a structured way prioritizing your tasks, has a very sophisticated platform that is also multiplatform, simple to use, consolidates tasks in an inbox which makes the search of pending tasks fast
In the free version the option to schedule reminders is not available, you must have the premium version
It is a tool that has been a great help to organize my time, given the occupations and the areas that I have to supervise, I have managed to monitor each activity with efficiency and punctuality, detecting critical situations that have been corrected to improve the functioning of the company
I use Todoist as a simple task manager for my own personal management as a professional. I love the reminders, comments section, and the ability to label tasks across different projects or priorities I have.
There seems to be slow movement on updating this product. I've been using it for a few years now and haven't seen very many improvements or added features.
Really I'm using it for my own personal investment. I use it to keep myself on track which then leads to meeting important deadlines and showing progress in my work.
It is a multiplatform application, very simple and easy to use, achieves the objective of managing tasks and labeling them in order of priority
The synchronization in some opportunities is slow; it would be helpful to be able to see graphically the execution of the tasks, these can only be seen as a list
It helps me to organize my time, ordering tasks, establishing priorities is essential when working with budget, having the resources available on the precise dates that are required is important, this task manager helps me set a reminder and has managed my tasks effectively and quickly
So much customization. I can split my to-do list into projects, as well as add labels to them for more clarification. I can mark priority levels, create reminders, etc.
Some of the features I want to use are premium, but I can't pay for a subscription with my budget.
This helps me keep my various projects separate but still keep all the tasks in an organized list so I don't miss anything. It also means I use paper less.
