I can set reminders and receive notifications about ongoing and crucial activities. It is effortless to use, facilitating a great deal of my job. The UI is excellent. It's a fantastic bundle that allows you to alter your responsibilities as you see fit.
It performs an excellent job of keeping track of everyday work, but when I need to organize meetings, I must use a different application. It would be helpful if Todoist had the identical function.
Getting my daily work organized and taking care of tasks as they come in. Putting due dates and follow-up dates on projects assist me in delivering the project on time.
Easy to use Lots of features Available on all the different platforms I use.
No random task feature. I have had this before on other software and I found it really helpful when I felt I needed direction.
I use Google calendar a lot and it has a built-in To-Do list feature but it is a bit too basic for me. I use Todist to help me keep track of tasks that are not calendar related. It definitely helps me be more productive.
For task management, I use Todoist since I can easily make lists of tasks, whether official or personal. It's easy to use on many devices, so I can add tasks on the go and rearrange them afterward. I like the platform's simplicity.
Although it contains a capability for team collaboration, it does not allow for real-time communication when working on time-sensitive projects. Furthermore, the free edition does not offer reminders; nonetheless, there is very little else about this platform about which I can express dissatisfaction.
I accomplished my goal of organizing all of my responsibilities for my clientele. No duty is now too insignificant to be remembered. Place the thing on a classified list and set a reminder to do it on a specific day.
I like Todoist's layout and speed so much that it may replace my Day-Timer subscription.
It is different enough from other task manager products to test your ability to adapt to its design.
Todoist can help me meet a complex set of changing deadlines.
The design is really great at promoting a sense of accomplishment when you mark something as done and this helps you keep going
Initially, it can be somewhat confusing to figure out how to use. It seems quite complicated and can be difficult to use efficiently
Todoist helps the creative person whose ideas are all over the place. It helps to put it together and create a timeline to complete/convert those new innovative ideas into tasks.
It's an extremely easy to use app, so it doesn't take as much time to create lists and tasks as it does with some of the other more complicated to do list apps. We used it to help us manage and share tasks at work when we were a small team and it was super effective. We would receive notifications when we were assigned something and could comment back and forth on that particular task, making it an effective way of communicating as well.
I wish that it was easier to customize email reminders for lists and tasks. Also, it wasn't the most effective tool once our team grew because we could create task hierarchies.
I'm able to make lists for different areas of my life, personally and professionally. It sends me daily reminders of what's still left on my list. When using it in an organization, it was a good way for us to communicate about task specific things.
The team option of assigning tasks to others and collaborating on projects. Also the ease of calendaring and creating re-peat items.
It is difficult (impossible) to view completed tasks.
I am a forgetful person. I love pen and paper, but those to do lists can get lost. This app has helped me boost productivity.
I love to quickly be able to add things to a running list of "to dos" so that I don't forget something. I also have lists by projects so that I can organize all the different things that need to be done for each project. I also like that I can format it as a list or a grid.
I wasn't happy that I couldn't add comments and notes to the free version. But the paid version isn't that expensive and worth the extras that you get.
One of the biggest things I was looking for in a organizational software was just the ability to track things so they didn't fall through the crack. Some of the ones I looked at were too featured. I didn't need something complex. I basically wanted to take a written to do list digital with the ability to add notes/comments. Something simple yet robust like Todoist has helped me achieve that.
It has a cross-platform support with easy and direct reliable syncing Amazing extra features, such as natural language input and productivity reports Easy to use set up Friendly collaboration system Don't have to be online to work it also works offline
Not very easy to use at the beginning but once you get used to it you can see all the features and why is so good to use Todoist.
I am better organized with my team I own a digital marketing agency and we have lots of tasks to get done in hand if we are not organized we would procrastinate or not be well stabilized to do the work and the tasks in our hand. With Todoist every one knows what they have to do and everyone is directed to his/her task that needs to get done. The organization level is very very high with the help of Todoist.
I like the simplicity, and the simple layout. It's very easy to read and understand at a glance.
Sometimes simple can be too simple. I wish it had more features, like email integration.
Keeping track of a busy workday with lots of competing time demands.
I like how it syncs across all the various client applications. Build the list in your computer and have it in the mobile app as you go. I like the way it breaks down into folders, and makes it easy to organize your notes/to do's
I stopped using it because I needed something that was more project management focused. I switched over to Asana personally. Doesn't take anything away from what todoist does, and does well.
Organizing tasks and things I need to get done.
You can add reminders and get notified about various upcoming and urgent tasks. It is also very user-friendly and help me manage most of the tasks very easily. The UI is also great. As a package it is very good and pretty lets you do any modifications to your tasks.
Well see it as a good task management app but I don't find it different from the other such applications. There isn't feature that makes it stand out!
Well the problems that I am solving is that if helps me manage my personal tasks well. Now in these times, when most of our time is spent at home due to covid and lockdown hence I tend to forget most of my personal tasks. This helps me keep a track of them. Most of the times, it makes
Works across all platforms including linux and has many integrations making it viable for most collaborators. Todoist if quite flexible in how you want to organize it and makes change easy instead of rigid and time intensive. Also the constant updates can be a bit to get used to but make the application better
Sometimes sync doesn't always works seamless on a windows machine when using offline
Not many problems at all. The only thing is two way integration with Google calendar. It's been time saver not having to worry what works on which platform since we use several of them.
I really enjoy using Todoist because it helps organize the ever-flowing river of my brain's checklist! As an Executive Director of a nonprofit organization, there are so many hats to wear, and some can fly off if not written down in a timely and organized way. I think Todoist is a great way to keep our small team on the ball and it's pretty intuitive to use, so the implementation time isn't terribly long.
I'm not completely convinced that Todoist is miles better than Evernote, which I also use. That said, I have appreciated the possibilities that Todoist offers in the formatting and organization of task items, while Evernote has a much larger possibility list that isn't always used in our organization.
We are solving lots of problems with Todoist and in general being able to use software to keep all of our projects and tasks managed across our organization. The benefit of making sure a donor is thanked or a volunteer has been touched base with is immeasurable when it comes to our org's reputation and ability to retain donors and volunteers.
Todoist allows you to track and prioritize tasks across multiple projects and team members, according to your own personal needs. Color coding and other organizational tactics are available.
For some smaller businesses, the pricing can be a little bit on the prohibitive side. It also can take a bit to set up in a way that fits your specifications.
I am a gig worker with multiple clients and this software makes it easy to keep projects organized and on track. I have developed my own system that presents daily tasks, deadlines, and open projects in a way that boosts productivity.
The interface is very simple to use, since the functions offered manage all the activities that are scheduled to be developed in the implementation of new projects, greatly improving collaboration between team members.
It has worked in a fast and practical way, so I have nothing negative to say about the tool.
The tool allows you to carry out the collaboration between all the members of the work team, improving the way of managing and executing each of the activities.
The User Interface and neat & clean, Elegantly designed and easy to use. Both the mobile app and web has all the the functionalities arranged in an easy to use way. The new launch - Kanban Board is just classy. This works both on mobile & web.
Does not have a calendar view feature. This is a big let down. If you are someone who likes to stay of top of your agenda over a period of time than it will disappoint you. I'm not sure why the Todoist team ignored this most sought after feature. In fact many of the competitors are way ahead with this functionality
Shopping, project planning, meetings and anything that you can think of - can easily be achieved through Todoist. One of the most productive apps both personally & professionally
I like it how quick and simple it really is to write down your assignment and create alerts so that you just don't forget about them & ToDoist provides a nice and easy-to-use to-do list app feature.
Trying to navigate around the list is now a big challenge
This helps me to get a clear sense about what I've been doing on a regular basis, as well as a weekly summary.
Todoist is very helpful for organizing tasks, allowing you to organize by category, add sub-sections or sub-tasks, and indicate when a task has been completed. It even allows you to a date or time deadline to your task in order to better organize which items need to be completed first and prioritize.
Todoist has a feature that only allows you to a certain amount of tasks per "project" which puts constraints on how many items you can list. Thankfully, creating a new "project" even if it is labeled the same as the one you have previously filled up is an easy solution to this problem.
Todoist has been instrumental in not only helping to write down my to-do list virtually, but also in organizing my tasks by date and importance.
