Ease of implementation without sacrificing quality. Task management tools usually tend to be very basic and limited. With Todoist, on the other hand, you get a versatile tool packed with a ton of features that allow a task management tool to be way more than that.
For me, the best part is that it somehow resembles a paper to-do list in the sense that I can add a new taks wherever I'd like (in a section or not) and all of them are in the same list. The iOS widgets are also great. I have two Todoist widgets in my homescreen. It's become my only to-do app.
I wish I were able to filter tasks by projects and labels at the project page instead of having to create a specific and permanent filter on the filter list.
I've used to have different task management apps, one for each type of thing (projects, personal...) and Todoist allowed me to have it all under one app, because it versatile to accomodate simple tasks and complex projects. Besides, it's also great for sharing tasks with others.
Todoist informs me whenever I have things to do which is something I really enjoy. Although I have a lot to accomplish, several category options help me prepare myself. In addition, it's easy to keep up with what's happening every minute , day, week and month. So I can always stay productive when doing my tasks

I have been using the free version for a long time now. This is really beneficial. You will not miss any follow-up nor any deadlines to follow up with your clients, deliverables, and another task on the list if managed properly.

Shared projects are messy, especially when tags get involved. I wish there was a built-in calendar view instead of the roundabout solution of integrating with google calendar.

Todoist has been the most transparent and user-friendly tool for organizing our everyday tasks. Todoist also made it much easier for us to execute the project and activities which needs to get done. Its process is highly customizable, and it helps us to discuss our progress with other former teammates and through various devices.
The reminder feature is not great, needs improvement. I would like it to add a more customizable recurring reminder option.
Todoist enables me in sticking to the additional actions in my email updates as well as keeping track of the files which need to be completed. It is also very simple to write a detailed assignment with all of its characteristics and a fitting user interface.
The best thing about todoist is the ease by which i can manage my tasks, but its not only about task management , its about increasing my productivity. The abilty to use the product and plan not only days but weeks in advance feels like a superpower which has helped me immensely Plus would like to add that the blogs are super insightful and would consider the content as gold standard in builing brand loyalty
A few bugs here and there on the mac app Only thing missing would be kind of summaries or anlytics of prdoctivity - but those can be done through integrations

All-in-one simple and convenient to use. I can add my daily / weekly / monthly tasks on the application and get notification each time. The process only takes a couple of minutes. in the beginning It's exciting to simply place your task on the platform with task management systems with all kinds of extra requirement. then you get reminder notifcation , best thing is I can share my task with other users in our organization and collbarate on multiple task at once. When I open the explorer, it is still there and I can keep up with anything I have to do every day. With Todoist, you will identify special and repeatable activities that are perfect for monitoring.
Users could search past content using various possibilities. Adding activities may be a bit glitchy, however, when you hold on, it's all good. I was bit upset because such an basic feature as an alarm notification has been transfer in todoist as a premium feature.
I use Todoist to schedule my day/week and schedule my appointments and activities for the ahead. If I recall well, it is simple to extend tasks to maintain order the very next day. This is the only way I can manage it all, and it's beneficial.
Todoist, more than possibly any other software I use regularly, hits the sweet spot of incredibly simple but insanely powerful. Todoist has by far the best natural language input that I have ever experienced. Setting due dates is so easy, its amazing. For example, if I want to be reminded every week day until 2022 to complete a specific task, I simply type in: "Complete XXXX Task everyday until January". Todoist’s natural language input is by far the best I have ever experienced, and it also allows me to capture all the relevant task data (priority, due date, tags) at the time of entry. This saves a ton of clicks, which other apps require.
There is literally nothing I do not like about Todoist. I have essentially become a Todoist salesperson at our College. One of the requirements for anyone who asks me to collaborate on a project is that they download and use Todoist.
In addition to tracking all of my personal tasks, I'm currently using Todoist to coordinate a monthly review team. This was a nightmare before implementing Todoist. It requires me, as lead, to assign policies to individual members to review and then report on. Also, I was tracking which stage or review each policy was in. Doing all of this via email quickly became overwhelming and I'd spend hours sorting through to find what I needed. Now, I can assign a task, attach the policy, and use the new Kanban board view in Todoist to see what step of the process each policy is in.

Todoist has been a great boon to getting organized for reaching my goals in a day. There are great ways to organize your tasks and keep you motivated as you are completing them.
When I accidentally mark the thing done , I can't revert it and a lot of notifications making it annoying software.
I have used Todoist for almost 3 years now and it's the one to-do product that I seem to be able to stick with. I went through a variety of to-do-list managers before this, but somehow because of the wide range of platforms that it supports, including a browser extension, a native Windows app, mobile apps, and a native Mac app, Todoist meets my needs really well. So I guess the feature I like the most is it's ubiquity and speed--it's always close at hand. It can even be the default to-do manager on an Alexa device, which is really nice because you don't have to say "open Todoist" or something like that.
I love the versatility of the product and the fact that it is simple to use despite the depth of its features, and that it can be used across so many platforms (Web browser, PC app, Outlook add-in, and iPhone and iPad apps, all of which I use, to name a few). What really makes the product indispensable to me is the Outlook add-in and the ease of converting e-mails into tasks seamlessly, though I also rely heavily on the iPhone/iPad apps.
Occasionally, but not often, the Outlook add-in inexplicitly freezes or has a component that is not operating properly. However, rebooting Outlook (and therefore the add-in) generally resolves the issue. The other platforms, which I rely on less, do not seem to have this issue.
Once again, ease of use and cross-platform compatibility, as well as its reasonable price.
I love that ToDoIst is built for productivity. The checklist is the nature of the software. I LOVE that I can copy a list of tasks and past them into ToDoIst and copies each line into its own check line. ToDoIst is also equipped with the ability to indent a task and make it a sub item of another, I can schedule tasks, I can make a task recurring like shopping for eggs or protein powder. The other simple but amazing thing about the software is that you can log in with Google or other services and have nonstop access to your stuff. You can incorporate it into Google services like Mail as there is an app. There is also an app for the Mac, Windows and iOs operating systems so your to-do lists, check lists, reminders, etc. are with you wherever you.
I dislike that I can't get the premium features for free. All jokes aside, I don't think there is anything I dislike about the software.
Todoist is solving my issues with productivity by allowing me to have one central location where I can keep my lists and manage them. I’m no longer storing items in individual TXT/text editor files. Now, I’m consolidating them and this is keeping from having to search for things. The organizational features that come with ToDoIst also ensure that I can prioritize and categorize items the way that best fit my needs.
I really like the integration with firefox browser the plugin is very fast, I think

I love how easy it is to create tasks on the fly from my phone and the short cuts on assigning due dates, adding to particular projects, adding comments, etc.
I wish it was easier to search for old tasks or upcoming tasks, I also wish the integration with Siri was easier to master. I would also like more guidance on how to use the labels and filters option.
Tracking professional development tasks like keeping on top of networking tasks, listening to podcasts, reading professional development books, various things that I identify as being of value to me or my business, but don't have the time to do them in that moment.
One of the best parts of Todoist, is that it conforms to how YOU want to use it. If you you are a follower of the Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology, then this will work perfectly for you. If you have your own way of organizing your tasks, then you can make Todoist work that way too! It's extremely flexible and easy to understand. Plus, because it uses natural language it's as as easy as typing (or dictating), "File Quarter 3 report tomorrow" to set up a reminder. Being able to organize things into projects, sub-projects, tasks, and sub-tasks is easy and gives you as much (or as little) detail as you need to be successful in getting things done.
I hate to say it, because I know it sounds like a cop out...but I have really nothing bad to say about Todoist. I've been using it for over 4 years now and it is a vast improvement over nearly everything else I've tried. Plus, the price is fair when compared to something like Omnifocus...which is expensive and Apple only.
Staying on top of multiple projects and tasks is hard or an individual. Leading a team and managing every function only compounds the challenge. Using Todoist is a simple and elegant solution to watch over your team, assign tasks and follow-up.
Is a very simple app, but it help you organize your ideas and your workload.
