It has minimal distractions to work. It works as expected
I will appreciate if I can see records of the amount of time that I have worked within a range from the application.
It has helped to track my productivity and also set reliable milestones.
Remembers me when I am not timing my work
Desktop interface is not great and needs some polishing
Measure how long I take on each project
Hubstaff give great tracking reports, allowing you to filter by any mean. It's a great app to track your freelancers.
The desktop app is a little bit annoying for the freelancers, and also it's not fast and easy to manually add time to your sheet.
Tracking of freelancers. The benefits have been really accurate and easy to get a way of knowing how much should I get or pay for the work.
The ability to be able to start and stop working when I want and have it well tracked.
Although the screenshot functionality is important, there should be a way for us to delete up to 5 screenshots per day which may have confidential information like passwords. Even at work, my passwords should be private. Always. And if I click on one of those "see password" buttons and it takes a screenshot of it, that is a privacy breach.
It provides capability to track correctly user's work time and see if they really are doing what they should be doing.
Complete tracking with different reports.
Can't limit the activity percentage with tme logging
Employee Tracking
I love the dashboard and ability to store contractor and client pay/bill. I also think the customer service has been great.
I don't like that you can't use the Client field in the basic. I asked to pay just for that feature and was unable to. I also don't like that the ability to integrate into QB online doesn't work in a practical way. I had to buy an API so we could use both. I also wish I was able to store the client's email in their profile so we didn't' have to enter the email each time we send a report.
Having billing and pay info in one place
Simple to setup and works well for tracking employees.
Nothing so far. Might be good to have the option to change how often it takes screenshots.
I've been able to make sure my team is being productive.
The basic functionalities are easy to grasp, and further options are provided for a great personalised experience. The website has more functions, while the iOS App has a few basic options.
The phone applications could be optimised. Viewing the website on theiOS Hubstaff App cuts off many crucial buttons as the user is unable to scroll sideways.
Employee hours management, project management.
Hands off daily operation control over VAs - Hubstaff takes care of this closely control
Some new features are not clear and doesn't seem to work well - i.e we can't really get the holidays and time off function to really work for our needs
VA control
The ability to capture the screens and log how many hours someone is working on a project
a few hiccups and limitations but I think all in all it's a great package for the money
Tracking staff
I like that employers can see what their employees are up to during their shifts, although the screenshotting is a little intrusive. But to see a general % of work being done and sites visited, as well as any feedback from the employee on what happened and why is great.
Screenshots are unnecessary. If any employer has the time to look at the hundreds of shots throughout the day, that's a lot of wasted time. Also, the % of work being "done" isn't always accurate depending on the position. For example, a writing or research-based job takes more time to look at/make sense of things before starting on the work, so it may show only 20% active when the employee is using that other 80% to research/read/understand. Whereas someone in data entry may show 90% work being done, since it's a very active-typing job.
Tracking of employee time and effort.
No frills time tracker (at least with how our company is using it) that accomplishes the core function well. Tracks time consistently and has easy to read/access reports.
Did run into some bugs with it working consistently early on, but using the chrome extension has resolved those issues.
Tracking time for a remote work force. Having a system that helps keep people honest beyond just the honor system.
Hubstaff lets you track working time with screenshots, activity and reporting.
Hubstaff should show all the filters readily so you do not need to go through several links to just get the reporting you want.
Tracking the team's work time and productivity.
The people who helped me were fast, clear and efficient. The first person set me up with a chat appointment that worked flawlessly, within a week of my first request. The person who did the chat knew exactly what to tell me and I feel greatly relieved to have had all my questions answered.
Nothing. There wasn't anything wrong with it.
I am not a business, just an employee whose employer uses Hubstaff.
Variety of options to choose from, complete flexibility.
Be even more flexible, for example in terms of having more time options with idle time or screenshots
Maintaining time.
Easy to use, easy to onboard, and it does the job we need.
Pricing could be a little better but still a good value product
- Tracking contractors timesheets - Determining inactive contractors
The activity tracking which shows how much activity we are doing.
Some times as we may have some ideal task and there is a chance that the task may not require any user activity in that case the activity may not be correct.
Time tracking problem for employees and employer.
Streamlined approach and very well organized product
would like more flexibility in tracking of individual tasks
streamlining the tracking process of hourly employees and billing
I like the automatic screenshot/activity capture functions. I like having daily team activity reports. It really gives me visibility into my operation!
I don't think the integrations are well developed at this point. The Quickbook integration doesn't give enough flexibility to actually use it the way our business requires. The Hubstaff tasks integration doesn't allow for timesheets to be updated after it syncs from HS to HS Tasks. Even if you use the delay option, you have to catch an issue relatively quick before the tracked time is locked.
We have gained a functional way to track our entire remote team. Our managers now have visibility into what each team member is doing, and the screenshots to accompany any timesheet!
Tracking the independent contractors Screenshots Chat Overall an okay system
The inaccuracy that the contractor gets to change their invoice even tho the time tracking shows otherwise. Due to this I may chane time management soon.
The activity reports equaling the independent contractors invoice
