Solves the problem of monitoring staff who are off-site

None... it does what it’s supposed to do.

I am a small business owner and need support staff and I am able to monitor their work and time appropriately.

Hubstaff is a great way to track your remote teams and have time tracking and accountability within the teams.

The main dislike is the price. With anything it's part of it and cheaper than most alternatives however.

I do remote freelancing, I also have a business partner where we log our hours spent on the business. This is super simple to use and the screenshot feature that verifies work helps avoid a lot of arguments with clients, as well as help me monitor my own work as well as other people employ remotely. It has really solved a problem. I have already recommended it to a lot of clients for their other remote workers etc and even agencies.

The interface on the website could be a little clearer and sometimes it feels as if it may slow my computer a little bit if I have a lot of tabs open plus this but no big deal.

As I said in the above, it helps me log my hours spent on the business with my business partner so we can see the value and time spent on the business - important for fairness and equity. Its great for when I am convincing clients to let me work remotely who may feel unsure about the idea because it reassures. And the same for myself when hiring remote employees, I just ask as standard practice if I am paying per hour rather than per task to use this and it just really helps everyone focus, buckle down, and reassures me too.

Getting accurate employee work time

Hubstaff is easy to use and maneuver around. I personally have not had any issues with it at all.

I guess the only thing I dislike is that the timing system shown may or may not be real time.

It keeps track of the employee's daily task and encourages them to work harder and faster.

I like that screenshots are taken periodically to help justify the time you worked on a project.

I have been using Hubstaff for several months now. There isn't anything I have found to dislike about Hubstaff. It's a great tool and it's user friendly.

Monitoring of remote staff

It allows me to track based on project. We have 20 projects going on at any one time with assistants from around the world. It allows us to see where they're spending their time and if they're getting stuck.

It took awhile to get used to the platform as far as finding out where things were. There are a TON of options (which is great), however, we only need a few. So it took some time to find things.

Organization. Time Tracking. Payment Tracking. It's been HUGE for us to use Hubstaff. We love it!!!

Tracking is amazing, it works perfectly. The reporting is pretty impressive as well!

The new beta about the tasks, I feel like is still under development, lots of bugs happen.
