As an hourly employee, it is very nice to see an overview of the amount of hours I work in a week. It is a simple process and very easy software to use.
A little tedious - I have to manually go in every day to submit the amount of hours I am working.
HR loves it. It is an easy way to approve and submit employee timesheets to payroll.
This system simplifies time keeping, is easily used on most devices, and is compatible with Quickbooks. It makes payroll so quick and accurate.
I don't like that it only imports into Quickbooks time sheets by week and not pay period.
Efficient time keeping leads to easy payroll. Compatible with Quickbooks.
It is more user friendly than other time card services. As a salary employee, I like that I can either enter a time card for the day or simply put in how many hours I worked.
The dashboard is weird to navigate and the different sections to get to the time cards are a bit off, I think they can change the layout for easier use.
Entering timecards as a small start up we do not have a big team, so it is great to use so that we don't have to hire someone specifically for payroll
Tsheets is easy to use and is convenient.
The program runs a little slow at times.
Scheduling employees. I can access it anywhere on my mobile device
I like the live chat function and the video tutorials to guide me through the various features. New software can be overwhelming and often half of the functions don't get used because you have no idea how to figure it out.. Elaina M was another great support during my time with Tsheets! (EM1)
No way to move around the layout of the fields on the app.
Scheduling for service technicians. Tsheets is great that I can get all of the information set for them through the schedule and they just have to click and go! Easy to adjust timesheets as well which is great.
Simple app. to use. I like that it will interface with Quickbooks.
Nothing. I like everything about this app.
Easy of use. Time entry is great.
Been using it for a week and like the ease in scheduling a groups of techs to each job. As we learn the program I like the ability to edit time sheet as needed. Tech support!
Having some issues with the mobile app on some phones, but tech support has been great to work with
Scheduling and syncing jobs with time sheets, payroll ease
I got a log in issue and it got resolve in no time. Thanks to the virtual assistant efficiency.
Nothing yet, I have found the software very easy to use and functional.
I am a virtual project manager and we use tsheets to control labor hours and payrolls for different independent consultants.
Screen sharing makes explaining problems easier.
California laws regarding waived lunches are not accounted for.
They make moving over to digital time easier with good communication.
Time sheets is very easy to use and user friendly.
Nothing... I enjoy Time sheets as it is now!
We use Timesheets to determine someone's time spent in the job
The TSheets team is always on call and more than willing to help with any questions that you have. I had a simple question about where to find something on the site (a very easy and mundane question) and Tiffany was extremely helpful and friendly. Even if the team was not able to fulfill my request, I have never had a situation where I felt like they weren't trying their hardest to help with the situation.
This has more to do with the software than the team, but there are a few simple features that I feel like are missing (namely, being able to mass export PDF files, instead of having to download them one at a time). However, when I brought this to the team's attention they input a feature request -- so hopefully that will be something that will be added in the near future.
1.) We needed help tracking our field personnel 2.) We needed something that would alleviate the need for keeping paper records 3.) We needed something that would make it stress-free for the field techs and office admin to calculate hours and process payroll TSheets solved all 3 of these problems. It allows us, in the office, to track field techs to make sure they are actually on the job. And it makes it makes payroll processing and record keeping a lot easier.
T-sheets allows me to customize the way my employees report their time. I can create different types of PTO, customize the accrual for each employee, and segment out hourly vs. salaried employees. I really like the app availability which makes my employees much more likely to report their PTO consistently and on-time. T-Sheets customer support is also incredible. Their live-chat function online, or their phone help has provided quick, responsive and helpful support as I was setting up and getting used to the system. I also like the kiosk feature that would allow me to have an ipad or computer serve as an employee "punch in/punch out" system, although we don't need to use that feature right now.
The reports are a little difficult to get used to, but once you figure out how to run them and remember to update the dates when running new reports, it's relatively simple.
We switched HR providers and are using a professional employer organization that amazingly doesn't have a time-sheet system. Their proposed solution was to ask employees to email me time off requests and then manually enter them into a spreadsheet to keep track of. I reviewed a number of different time sheet applications, and found that T-Sheets was more customizable, easier to use, and offered a slick app, all at a price point a lot lower than some of the other products on the market.
Its just my first week but I am very impressed. It is tracking where my crew is, when and where they clock in. I can use it as a scheduler for Site Supervisors. It allows me to track banked time for those on salary. It seems to give me quite a bit of options when it comes to permissions such as who can see what and who can do what. Brendan was very helpful today getting their 1/2 paid, and 1/2 unpaid lunch break set up in the system today.
Finding that printing time sheets with the infromation I need is a bit of a challenge, but again this is my first week and I am sure I will figure it out.
Not getting time sheets Getting discrepancies on time sheets Clocking in before arrival on the job site This seems to have solved all my problem.s
The agent Elaina M. was extremely helpful and was able to walk me through in a short period of time.
There is nothing I disliked about my call today.
Trying to get leave balances for managers
Thanks to the spectacular assistance of Shayna G, i have realized how to easily customize the service for my business. Coming from a customer service based industry, it is a pleasure to work with someone like Shayna, she went above and beyond to help make sure that my transition into Tsheets was effortless and quick.
I am new to Tsheets and am unsure of what i dislike yet.
The benefit of being able to ensure that my employees are at specific locations before they are allowed to clock in or out, is a great help in my business.
What I really like about the T-Sheets software is that it syncs all my info and time sheet. Clocks in and out with accuracy. It's even mobile friendly.
I dislike it how it has to sync all of the company's employee every time you're trying to clock in and work.
No business problems. As a former employee who used T-Sheets, they should make it easy to change your time sheet if you messed up on clocking in or out.
Simple to use. Copying time sheets from week to week is easy. I like having my PTO and timetracking in one spot. Requesting time off is easy through Tsheets.
I can't request categories and labels through Tsheets. I have to contact my admin outside the system to make those changes.
We are trying to identify how much time we spent with each client in the various parts of the sales/success process. It's been very helpful in getting those metrics. Furt
I used to use Excel spreadsheets for my time tracking and would often forget to record my start and end times. I am a web designer, therefore on my computer constantly, so having a web-based time clock that allows me to clock in and out has improved my time tracking and helping me better account for my hours worked. Secondly, since I use Quickbooks for my accounting, having the Quickbooks integration has made my time tracking to billing process significantly more streamlined.
I love the Quickbooks integration, but in order to import time sheets into Quickbooks I needed to upgrade from my $15 / month self-employed subscription to the $40 / month Quickbooks Plus. This isn't a fault of TSheets, but perhaps should be made more clear. Additionally, I work on several projects per company at a time, but I am not spending a continuous 8 hours a day on one project. I need to clock in and out for breaks and switching projects. That said, when I go to do my accounting, I have to manually add up the time worked per project in order to itemize on my invoice, which is a bit of a time sink and can also allow for errors when I total my time.
The biggest problem TSheets has solved is a more accurate, stream-lined accounting of my time. For freelance consultants, billable hours are everything, so a good time-tracking software is critical. The biggest benefit I have realized is no more time falling through the cracks - after I got in the habit of clocking in and out, of course!
TSheets was an affordable answer to an old Excel sheet. As we run many projects where scope needs to be contained, tracked and as we do bill hourly on some work, we needed a cloud based time tracker. TSheets came out on top for ease of use, scalability and affordability. - Easy to set up users - Easy to set up company standards - Track OT with ease - Roll up reports for payroll easily.
We believe the UI/UX could have a better and more intuitive look, feel and function. Also, it would be nice to be able to set up a job with set hours for users to bill against. This helps us control out of scope charges and contract renewals closely.
We needed to track the hours of our contract and W2 workforce for multiple jobs and clients. TSheets made this happen.
T-Sheets' phone app is the bomb. Most time tracking phone apps are difficult to use (scrolling, choosing, typing). I have used several time tracking apps. T-Sheets' app is the best!
I wish I could add clients via T-Sheets. Unfortunately, at the moment, you can only add a client via QuickBooks.
Because of T-Sheets, the manual process, of writing time in a day runner and then via manual data entry transferring the same to accounting software, is eliminated. I can enter onsite via the T-Sheets phone app and then just upload to the accounting software. More free time for me!
