What I disliked is how long it takes to get your first payment, a talent should save for 30-60 days before starting with Toptal.

As a business owner of my own, I know the struggle to find reliable projects and/or clients. Toptal takes that burden away all the admin duties are gone.

You can work remotely for any type of company all around the world with your own rate a only the hours you prefer. You also get access to many courses foranh languages / technologies / frameworks that also improve your skills.

Probably one thing are all the benefits of working directly with a company with a contract, for example vacation days, some bonuses and that kind of stuff. If you want vacations you have to "pay" them, removing those days from your worked days.

Toptal is great for helping talents to find the best clients and handle all the extra work in the middle. Moreover, they are also helping to improve talents with internal training.

The only downside I can say is that since we are always with different clients, we cannot have paid vacations. It may be included in long-term contracts.

They are finding the best clients to work with according to our preferences, tech skills and hourly rate expectations. They are handling payments so we don't have to deal with clients for urging payments or we don't have any delayed payments. If we had any problem, they are always close to help us.

It might take some time to find a new Gig, mainly for the skills which are less popular.
