Unbounce is a very straightforward tool, excellent for anyone who doesn’t have a lot of experience using a landing page builder. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to what creating, publishing, and testing a landing page in Unbounce might look like.

Step 1: Creating your landing page

When you’re ready to start building a landing page with Unbounce, you’ll have the option to choose between the classic builder, and the new “Smart Builder”.

The classic builder gives you a basic step-by-step experience where you can choose a template or start building with a blank page from scratch. The full experience is drag-and-drop, so you can easily pull your CTA buttons, pictures, and other elements into any section of the page. There are also grid guidelines to help keep everything aligned.

Creating your landing page

The drag-and-drop builder comes with a widget panel for adding and removing anything, whenever you choose. You can rearrange content however you like, and even add custom HTML with the code widget.

The smart builder is a little more advanced. You start by providing the AI system with some information about your campaign.

You can enter information about what kind of business you’re running, what your goals are and so on, and the Smart Builder will automatically suggest a design for you. The service also comes with access to Unbounce apps, so you can add things like PayPal and Stripe integrations to your page in a click.

After you’ve created your landing page, the next step is publishing it. For WordPress users, this couldn’t be more straightforward with Unbounce.

You can simply download the Unbounce plugin on WordPress, verify your account, and you’ll be able to add any landing page you choose to your CMS. Head to the Unbounce dashboard and define your URL, and you’ll be ready to go.

The team is generally active from 1am to 8pm PST, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 9pm PST on weekends. However, weekends can have longer delays.

What do you like best about Unbounce?

The best feature about Unbounce is the ease of design. We have different skill levels all across our team and each user is able to easily create the design they have in mind.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

One feature that I wish would be looked at is the option to have more than one form field per page. We have found a work around for when we need more information from our customers but multiple forms would be nice.

What problems is Unbounce solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been able to work more efficiently with Unbounce because it has drastically decreased our turn around time on landing pages.

Unbounce is an in-depth but quite easy tool to use for marketers. It's WYSIWYG editor, checklists and guides make it easy to develop high-quality, engaging landing pages without having to be an advanced coder.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

I was somewhat challenged initially in assuring the mobile-optimized versions of my pages were showing properly but was able to resolve it fairly quickly.

What problems is Unbounce solving and how is that benefiting you?

Unbounce allows us to have high-quality landing pages for focused campaigns without having to invest serious dollars into a digital marketing platform that has some level of similar functionality already built in.

Easy interface, lots of customizable options alongside pre-made templates, it works well for us.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

Not much, really. There's lots of options for editing which can be overwhelming, but they do provide training for that. Helpful videos from the CEO, too.

What do you like best about Unbounce?

It's very easy to get started and integrates perfectly with our Wordpress and Magento websites. We can test ads, subjects and product offerings without creating a project on to itself. We where able to start testing in under a day the first time we used it. After completing our testing plan documentation the develop got it up and running within 24 hours.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

Some of the instructions are missing and writing code can be difficult. It took about an hour or two to understand the segmentation of the wysiwig.

What problems is Unbounce solving and how is that benefiting you?

Landing page development, lead managements and testing ad copy without having to change the current websites.

What do you like best about Unbounce?

Unbounce is really easy to learn (as someone who is not particularly tech-savvy) and allows you to build beautiful landing pages without any trouble. I've also had fantastic experiences with their support team when I've had to set up integrations and had questions! They are attentive and friendly.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

Nothing really comes to mind that I DISlike. I would however like to have two different forms on a page? But that's just a feature request.

What problems is Unbounce solving and how is that benefiting you?

Unbounce has helped us build beautiful landing pages for our paid campaigns!

What do you like best about Unbounce?

It is without a doubt, the simplest yet most powerful landing page designer/tester/optimization platform I have ever used. Within an hour, I have a landing page built, linked fully to Pardot, tracked across multiple analytics tools, and variants created. While other landing page builders either cripple you and try to get you to upgrade for features that should be standard, or just overcomplicate the whole process, Unbounce delivers! And they keep building improvements.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

My BIGGEST peeve is not DIRECT integration to Pardot, but, it is super simple to use webhooks and the pot command to forward that info to Pardot. (Stay away from trying to embed a Pardot form... will cause more headaches)

What problems is Unbounce solving and how is that benefiting you?

1) Unbounce has made us activate our strategies faster than ever. (Like I mentioned, we build a landing page in an hour (including testing, variants, and full lead routing through our Marketing Automation) 2) Adding "style" to our landing pages easily. Too many landing pages/lead gen pages look like stock templates out of Marketo, Pardot, etc....and they most likely are. But with Unbounce, you can give each landing page an INCREDIBLE amount of polish. (our new pages convert at 3x our previous rate)

What do you like best about Unbounce?

Very easy and intuitive, great templates, don't need any coding experience. Their customer support is very accessible and quick to reply.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

Some settings are not easy to find, they use different terms for some page elements so you have to learn their terminology

Testing value prop with diff landing pages

What do you like best about Unbounce?

Unbounce is super easy to use compared to other platforms. Our company produces many landing pages and lead gen tools and Unbounce has been a great help to pump those pages out quickly. It makes it easy for non-coders to make this work.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

Nothing to extremely dislike. I think the confirmation page integration could work a little better. Our company is unique in how we pass back information to CRM, so our biggest issue there is on our side, not with unbounce.

What problems is Unbounce solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lead generation and quick landing page testing. We've been able to test new concepts and ideas in an A/B/C/D format quickly and accurately. It's nice to be able to get that kind of feedback when making marketing decisions.

What do you like best about Unbounce?

Unbounce is a powerful tool that has made my life easier, but also helped my clients generate more leads and sales with the landing pages we have created through Unbounce. On the few occasions we've had issues, the team have always been on hand to help us out.

What do you dislike about Unbounce?

The only recommendation I would make is having more landing page themes available.
