It's quite intuitive. Easy to handle and delivers timely notifications to the team working on the different projects effectively. It has a clean presentation that makes it easier for everyone to track hours and the activities happening in different projects. It also facilitates sharing needed content for each project.
There's no really functional version on the go. Some of my teammates and myself were the kind to be going from meeting to meeting or event. In those cases, if we did not have a laptop with us, it was quite difficult to get back to our teams if they required assistance through ActiveCollab.
We would manage our client's digital marketing campaigns. We would all be contractors, so being able to input our hours was great importance, and being able to properly see them and understand them clearly, was even more dire for our management.
The best thing i like about ActiveCollab is its project management and easy user interface that makes it a productive software.
I don't think there is anything to dislike in this software.
It solves the issue of accurate time tracking that benifits us in completing the project on time.

It's an ideal tool for tracking project management activities during our weekly lineouts. In my sprint, I can see what everyone is working on, write notes, track time, and label it properly.
Because you couldn't give a task to multiple people, items that required numerous resources required us to generate many duplicative tasks and allocate them out. It became overwhelming at times to attempt to find the best match
We can view what our team is working on and what has been allocated to us at any moment. We can see notes if multiple people are working on a project.
The interface is easy to use. The learning curve is not very steep. Spend only 1-2 hours to get started easily without any hassle. The separation between tasks and discussions is very helpful.
The platform is half CRM and half issue board, hence it is jack of all and master of none. The main focus should be either on CRM or issue board and the other thing can be presented as an addon.
We are using the active collab platform as our only CRM tool. We onboard our customers to the platform, and from there on, the support team takes over for both technical and business communication. Being easy to use and simple learning curve, the support team can be scaled without worrying about the deep orientation of the platform to the new hires.
It's a great tool for tracking our project management tasks as part of our weekly scrums. I can see what everyone is working on in my sprint, add notes, track time, and categorize it appropriately.
I wish Active Collab would learn the proper categories for each task. I find that I have to switch back and forth a lot since I work with a lot of different categories.
We are able to see what our team is working on at any given time and what is assigned to us. If multiple people are working on a project, we can see notes as well.
Activecollab allows my company and me to organize projects, track time and much more.
Sometimes specific tabs don't open or they take a while to load.

Ease of use. ActiveCollab has a great UX design and makes it easy to find different tasks based on the company or project you are working within. I am able to complete deadlines and get the information needed to the necessary people in order to complete projects by their deadlines.
Based on the level of permissions users are given, some people may not be able to use certain features of the app. I wish ActiveCollab had a mobile app also so I could use it while I am away from my desktop.
I am able to work with various teams simultaneously to get different aspects of a project done when there are deadlines quickly approaching. It helps keep projects organized and on track.

It is easy to manage multi projects within an agency. Active collab easily allows multiple departments to manage tasks for one client, while also deciding what communication is and is not visible to the client. Additionally, you can easily tag in other members of the team to review your work. Tasks can be sorted by project, or by due date.
Active Collab can be slow with a high volume or projects. It can be clunky to try and go look back on past tasks that you have closed out.
