Wide range of partner, trusty figures, easy approach, readable figures
Higher price based on different service level are increasing the costs
Realist track, publisher manegment
It's easy to use Good tracking There is a team who is willing to help you
The level of support can vary depending on the designated account manager Many companies do not know how to implement your trackings and they need more 1-2-1 support
The affiliate channel for the company I am working for.
1-Once the integration was live. Then adding or editing events was easier. 2-Easy to QA and approve the work done by affiliates
1-Integration is painful. Very low support on specific custom issues one is going to face. 2-Noise is high. Hard to pick the right player to pick. 3-No way to define what audience/persona you are looking for 4-Costly. I believe the cost is 40%-50% bloated.
Reaching affiliate for marketing my B2C product
I love that it tracks all sales and commission for affiliates, and takes care of their taxes!
I feel the Interface could be updated to be more user friendly
tracking sales with affiliates and making sure they have taxes
Publisher discovery tools, User-friendly UI and ease of reporting
No chat functionality for quick questions, Support lacking on some functionality especially setting up of product feeds, support should be able to get on calls.
Scaling and optimising our affiliate programs
Reporting interface, friendly employees, open to tech suggestions
Tech limitations e.g. commission groups and flexibility
Awin is helping us get a better understanding of APAC affiliates and this is helping reduce questions and concerns within the business
There are numerous niches covered at Awin so whatever the topic of your website you are likely to find some good people to work with. Customer support is fast and genuinely helpful and informative. Linking methods are flexible with lots of datafeeds to choose from.
Lack of contact from certain advertisers. Seems to be quite a few non updated email addresses. Some companies datafeeds are way out of date and should be forced to update or lose the option.
It allows me to monetize my websites
You get access to a lot of editors, they all want to make more money and so do you so it's the perfect combination of demand and offer, of course you'll need a good margin to reach out a good potential
There are a lot of "opportunists" and if you're not careful enough with your tracking if you are doing lead gen, then you are in for some false leads, you need good tools to be able to differentiate real lead/sales from fake ones. Also you are mostly on your own, there will be no KAM.
Reach out to more channels and editors throughout the world if needed, or else one country works too.
I like to use Affilinet in my work to get new affiliate campaigns, tend to have many interesting offers. In our work it is important to be able to always offer the best offers
Sometimes they do not have interesting campaigns, or they take time to have content. Also sometimes we do not meet the requirements for the campaigns and we are not approved
It is a very useful tool to get content for our business. We get information about new interesting affiliate campaigns
It's the main industry standard for affiliates and is used by lots of publishers.
They have terrible terrible customer service and account management. They are very slow to respond and oftentimes takes 3 attempts. Their finance team is the worst and almost never available. They also have a very outdated UI that is difficult to use and looks like it's from the 1980s still.
Allowing our publishers to advertise our website for sales.
nothing, this was one of the worst customer support experiences I have had and literally haven't been able to use the program
Their customer support and sales process is probably the worst I have ever experienced. It has taken 3 weeks, 20 emails, and 3 contacts to even get into the program. Now that I am in their system is "glitching" and 5 emails deep and I still haven't gotten through to support
Creating an affiliate program. No benefits
Set up was incredibly easy thanks to Awin's amazing onboarding team. The platform itself is quite intuitive and easy to navigate. They have an extensive number of publishers on the platform.
Uploading graphic assets could be simpler.
Expanding the reach of our affiliate marketing partnerships.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The web interface is easy to use and intuitive.
The publisher search could be better if it included additional filters.
Increasing business and exposure to our brand.
the useability of the site with plenty of options for contacting publishers and a variety of reports. Also, being able to find publishers and contact them easily which makes it simple to find companies to work with.
Lack of customisation in graph layouts and combining different information onto one graph. Also, the communications centre format for emailing publishers could be improved to make adding offers and vouchers to the email more condensed and only show the necessary information for publishers.
AWIN helps to contact and communicate with publishers for us so we can grow our business as well as this channel.
I like the publisher performance and transactions for looking at sales, publisher approvals section and banners also great!
I dislike the publisher directory search bar, it can be quite laggy and longwinded when doing recruitment
Many!
Ease of navigation and speed to load. I run multiple daily reports for a number of brands on the platform and it takes only a few minutes. Their dashboards are easy to navigate and make sense.
Scheduled reporting would be a great addition to the product. There's nothing else in particular that I dislike.
Helps us scale our affiliate marketing channel, the platform makes it easy to draw actionable insights and implement them into the business.
Simple, intuitive oversight of key metrics such as transactions, individual publisher performance and overall sales trends.
Inability to carry over data between client accounts, such as publisher tagging
Provides clear insight into publisher performance to inform future decisions regarding partnerships
The access of publishers to work with and the easy of access to communicate with them effecively.
When orders are declined or refunded, orders still come through Awin, making it quite manual to find these.
Awin is helping us in the Affiliate market, where we have not had a foot hold before.
The biggest plus is definitely the number of publishers in our core market. Plus everything else works perfectly fine.
The pricing is very intransparent, especially when you start scaling.
Finding publishers and affiliates to promote our products.
AWIN is a convenient platform to easily track my programs and commissions. I appreciate how many high-quality programs are hosted on AWIN and payments are always on time.
There isn't anything I dislike. If I were to make a recommendation, I would suggest adding a feed for coupons, to be able to quickly get a list of all active coupons, without having to check each program individually for them.
