Awin is very fast and agile, you need that to have a successful affiliate program. The account managers are extremely helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about affiliate marketing.

Awin is cheaper than all the competitors. Most people do know about it as they sponsor a lot of events. Their integration documents are decent and does a good job guiding the efforts for devs.

Awin is not as well known in marketers communities or they don't seem to trust them. It may have to do with how markters get paid commissions from other platforms like Impact. For some reason, despite how expensive Impact is, people prefer that. Makes very little sense.

Awin is a cheaper alternative to Impact. It does the program management as well as anyone else in industry.

I found as a beginner that the guidance tools were not the most helpful, although I did get there in the end

All the various different reports that I can download to track performance and affiliates in my advertiser account.

Tracking issues from our side make it difficult to use all the metrics that are currently tracking on the platform which is the biggest downside.

With the said tracking issues, this is something that we have found work-arounds but the support from the Awin team was what made this possible and their knowledge.

Awin has a really user friendly interface, making it easy to review reporting, merchants and new opportunities

It'd be great to get updates on new merchants joining awin who have exclusive code, PPC and tenancy opportunities available

I don't have to ask for proof of CPA setup as the CPA schedule tool makes this info readily available

The publisher directory is great to find new potential affiliates for your program

Not all publishers use AWIN which can be problematic. Additionally, there is no where to chat directly with publishers in the platform with everything being directed to email.

Thanks to the size we can identify a big variety of partner also for niche markets.

Especially the Approval Function to Approve or Reject Applications isn't up to date. I'm missing a better overview. Advanced filter methods.

It's super easy to understand and use. Not much support or explanation is needed. The platform is self-explanatory

It is difficult to find the right affiliate at times. There are a lot of publishers on the site who frankly shouldn't be on there. More due diligence into accepting affiliates would be great.

Customer service is good and the reporting tool gives great insights. Easy commission validation. Overall an intuitive platform that can be used straight away even if you are a first time user.

More help should be available on the platform itself. My staff found it hard to find help on the platform itself and often had to get in touch with help desk. They are usually good but it depends who you find available, I guess.

Really easy to use interface, which can be learnt without any training.

Lack of support from account managers. Outdated news manager system. Cannot associate transactions with users as IP addresses and identifiable information has been removed.

The platform is easy to implement on a technical side. Tracking snippets are simple for any engineer to implement quickly. AWIN provides a decent API for additional data. Flexible rules for for different partners, allowing custom affiliate rates and groups.

List of publishers that apply to our affiliate program are spam or low-rate publishers Finding partners or people to join your affiliate program is still on the affiliate program owner. The list of publishers are not great, and most don't provide value or are not in a similar market or country.

AWIN provided the platform for our affiliate program used by our partners. AWIN makes it easy to have a hands-off affiliate program that takes care of billing, tracking, and reporting.

I love that as a small business, we were able to take advertising into our own hands.

It took A LOT of down time to learn. By the time we learned, it took 3 weeks. You need to understand that we run a strictly family operated business, so the deep technicalities of the business took a lot out of us.

We don't pay someone else to make and handle ads, we do it...for a smaller fee.
