I enjoy the Reports. We went from all paper files and Excel spreadsheets. Reports are at our fingertips instantly and we don't have to worry about messing up a spreadsheet. I also enjoyed my trainer. She was kind, encouraging and super helpful.
We use a different payroll system so some of the features, like "Time off" don't really pertain to us...yet! I am pushing for us to use BambooHR for payroll as well!
I think one problem that is solved is that employees now have access to their own information. I, as HR, don't have to dig through the employee file for information that may or may not be there because the last person in this position wasn't a detailed person. Employees can see their benefits, pay rates, documents. It's great. Training will be another thing we are going to enjoy. Our commitment to more training this year will be simplified and recorded with ease!
Bamboo has been a great solution for the problems we were trying to solve when we signed up, and provides numerous solutions that we didn't even know we needed
Some of the settings are complicated. Tracking holidays across multiple countries isn't optimal. We would like more, and more customizable, Alert and notification settings.

It's user interface is very easy and interactive. Very easy to understand and navigate on the tool for all the HR needs. One can access the data related to employees very comfortably.
Customer support is poor. Takes a lot of time to respond to any issues or concerns .

It is a powerful, intuitive, easy to use and economical platform. It works correctly, it integrates perfectly with other platforms including LMS platforms ideal for online training such as TalentLMS. The support is excellent, very responsive. It has a modern interface, easy to use, it is ideal for monitoring and to manage personal employee information in one place. It makes it easy to create surveys and polls for collecting feedback from employees. Sharing files is a breeze.
My experience with BambooHR is perfect, it has helped us a lot to optimize our daily work and it is easy to use for me and my employees.

HR management and performance management is nice. It shows the progress of the goals. Timeline, comments, attachment.
UI is decent but can be made more cleaner. HOVERING on tabs won't highlight anything can be better.

Even though most of us probably use it just to request time off, which is straightforward, it has lots of other uses. As I said, you can check how many days you have available and request your time off. you will receive a notification every time they're approved. You can also browse the directory to be able to contact anyone in your organization or see their position, hierarchy, etc. You can also see if they are currently OOO, so you don't bother them during their time off. HR also shares links and announcements that are relevant to employees.
It's not something I dislike, a third-party software is used here to submit requests to the HR team. It would be great to be able to do that within Bamboo HR and receive updates about it via email. Integrations with payroll software would be great too, just to be able to see your paychecks in the same software.
We used to have separate sites for different purposes and it was hard to keep track of them. This moves us a step forward towards having a single software for HR-related queries and requests.

All documents are in one place and kept confidential. The hiring process is easy to manage, no matter how many applicants we get.
It has been such a great relationship with BambooHR. We have been able to get any changes we needed to be made and create some items that we had submitted for improvements.

When I worked in Checkaso and our HR department has implemented BambooHR, I was satisfied with almost every feature provided by it. Team announcements, work calendar (who's out today, who took remote, who's on vacation, etc), easy and convenient way to obtain several types of bonuses, all inner documents: everything was in one place (I mean BambooHR platform) and UI/UX of it was great
Obtaining financial bonuses weren't able to implement correctly (it tried to work in the same way like extra off days work)
Involvement in team life increased greatly when only BambooHR was implemented. We saved a lot of time with automatization of processes like requesting extra time and keeping all the documentation in shared access
I like the automation the best. It allows me to save time as well be proactive and catch things before they become issues. I love that they are also on top of the latest and greatest trends in the HR fields as it is a must.
No real Canadian payroll plug-in. We use ADP for just the payroll portion at this time but are looking to upgrade our payroll. I wish BambooHR had a serious contender for an API integration or plug in or even module for it. They cover everything else. Otherwise I still have some double entry going on when it comes to payroll items.
I am an HR team of one in a company of 100 employees. They can't believe how much I can get done. With BambooHR I can with email alerts, automated tasks and reporting and catch things before they are an issue.
I love BambooHR's applicant tracking system. It is customizable and allows you to move job applicants into various statuses to easily track where they are in the application process. It interacts with Indeed and Ziprecruiter and allows for applicants to easily apply to your job postings. I can customize applicant questions that provide valuable feedback before even meeting the job applicant. Onboarding and offboarding employee tasks are customizable as well and are unbelievably user-friendly. The ability to upload various documents and customize signature templates for each one is an amazing feature and one that our company uses frequently. I really cannot stress enough how awesome BambooHR is.
We are patiently waiting for BambooHR to get a more user-friendly employee time clock tracking piece. Our company is based in California and that comes with regulations. Having a system that alerts you to missed meal breaks etcetera would be beneficial. We are also waiting for them to get a shift scheduling piece in the future. We are using an outside app that does interact with BambooHR and this is working for us in the meantime.
Applicant tracking is not almost paperless. No more stacks of resumes on my desk. YAY! Onboarding, offboarding and sending various notices and documents for signature to our employees is amazing.
I like how easy the system is to set up and navigate for the company and employees. We also appreciate the app and the convenient access it gives to our employees.
We would like to see more versatile features around the timecard. Allowing for a PDF downloadable well-formatted version.

We have PT employees who have transitioned to FT status. There is no way to simply change their status but another profile has to be built and the PT deleted. Also as an administrator would love to see the full-blown version in the app versus just the open requisitions.
Time tracking for our FT employees particularly. My organization has unlimited PTO, so before BHR was adopted, other team members had no way of knowing who was out because very few staff members used OOO in their emails. Also, the work anniversaries and birthdays are nice as well. As mentioned previously it has retooled our onboarding process for our new employees by acclimating them to using it from Day 1.
I like that BambooHR is so easy to set up and user friendly. Employees can put in their details themselves which makes payroll done easily. There is no hassle in long emails and missing on the changes of an employee.
There is nothing that I dislike! Really enjoying BambooHR and everything is working as I would like to! Could have maybe a continues module for feedback from peers.
The problem of having one source of truth for the whole company. I can make different reports for different departments. One overview of employees and when they are out of office
Simple, pretty, easy to use, easy adoption for staff. Recruitment, ratings, easy reporting, onboarding. Using the reporting to understand who is doing what and going where is great! They also helped us build something internally to help manage our in house benefits. Great!
Really only that we have issues sometimes with email filters that make it look to us as if the email for recruitment has been read even if it hasn't. In this area, it'd be helpful to ensure we don't miss any candidates. Canadian options for some things like human rights components in ads would be helpful. Mostly, please make a Teams integration!!
Simplicity of people management. Consolidating our hr info into a reasonably priced easy to use piece of software with quick access. It's easy to ask for time off, etc. Too.
The core system, eNPS, the ease of use and fantastic support model they have...I could go on and on...the Amazon of HR software...easily in the top 3 software for sure.
I wouldn't say dislike...however the Performance add-on while great for the modern work environment has not met some of the requirements I need for my clients. But that could change as we begin to adapt a less rigid approach to managing performance
It's great for us for managing time-off, the reporting function is awesome...we can use the headcount and turnover report to easily present to the leadership team, the org chart is a breeze...no more box and sticks :)... it also helps with linking employees to HR as employees utilize the system a lot...we also send employee announcements here and that function is also very easy to use...did I also mention how awesome the app is? The Applicant tracking system also rocks!
It's the approach they use, you feel like they value your needs and try to help whether it's a customized field you invented and want to add or a bigger picture.

I use it mostly to store my employee's data, widely as a tool to keep track of my recruitment and vacations and sick days within the company.
