It also allows us to segment potential customers through different filters, and the program informs us when it has found an ideal customer so we can approach them to make a sale. Customers who are unhappy with our products are also located and reported to us, in order to approach them and avoid a bad review.
Its control panel could be designed in a cleaner and tidier way, in order to have a better control of the reviews information. The integration with Gmail cost us, but we were insistent in achieving it, with the help of the technical service. I know it is a relatively new software, but I wish it could have the option of translation to more languages like Italian and French.
We have been using this software for some time now and it has given us excellent results with the monitoring of comments and reviews from our most loyal customers on different web portals, social networks and pages. Excellent on feedback gathering, easy organization changes tracking, keeping the user on the same page with many different organization mentions not forgetting how responsive is their technical support.
Only getting started with Brand24 which does not take much of the users time on training, since it requires just the basic usage knowledge.

Brand24 is a simple but powerful social listening tool that covers not only the analysis of mentions on social networks but also the mentions of brands, social media profiles, terms or topics on blogs, websites, and digital media. It also integrates the compilation and listing of mentions with the possibility of interacting and engaging with the mentioners. These are usefully cataloged by reference to an influencer score index. Brand24 also has a good historic retrieval of previous mentions.
The keywords limitation may cause some trouble if you don't carefully design the monitoring & search project. The limits are reached quite easily without you even notice it. Besides, if you want to introduce changes to your keyword-based search once you have set it, the mentions retrieval process begins again.
Unlike other more expensive and complex social listening tools, Brand24 gives us immediate access to the social listening data we most need on a day-to-day basis. It is organized following a simple dashboard scheme that makes the learning curve short and has saved us precious time and working hours resources. Also, thanks to its being based on search projects, Brand24 allows us to collaborate efficiently with the people involved in specific projects.
As we are a communications agency, I like to be able to have press post alerts, updates from government sites and particularly to be able to check not only Twitter as in other applications, but to have a wide view of instagram, facebook, and even forums and blogs.
Not being able to identify relevant RT's, on the part of authors, which prevents me from identifying the actual scope.
We solve together the reports in pdf, the exportable ones in excel, the predefined filters by country, the widgets with lists of authors and exclusions.
It is extremely easy to use, clear sections and ways of operation. I also like the real time alerts which is really helpful to know if someone mentioned the brand. Also the customer support is really great. It is also easy to group and filter results. Brand24 is absolutely the best social media monitoring solution on the market.
So far the cons are kinda low. . The pricing is a but too high. Sometimes it also gives irrelevant social media posts. Also cannot customize templates for creating reports.
It is one of the best way to track social media mentions. It also helps to understand who mentions us and we can improve to provide better service to customers.
Brand24 is an easy to use tool to allow companies to monitor their brands and mentions across the web. Love the forum tracking as well as other social media sites outside Twitter and Facebook.
Perhaps the biggest frustration I have with the brand is that on the lowest pricing tier, you get updates every 12 hours. For me, it's not particularly mission-critical to be notified in real time, but the pricing discrepancy between updates every 12 hours and realtime updates is $450 monthly, which is hard for a small brand to stomach. Also, it's hard to see what truly is NEW and what's been repeated in the messages.
Tracking brand mentions across the web is difficult, but the consolidation in one single platform is great, especially with email notifications.
The main thing that Brand 24 does that I wasn't able to find in any other tools in this price range is the ability to find mentions in individual's FB posts where they don't specifically tag the brand.
The daily report email would be more useful if it contained all mentions instead of truncating and forcing a click to log in.
We've been able to do a better job with social listening.
Brand24 Super easy to set up and so far is the most accurate and all-around inclusive tracking tool I've come across.
The calendar function is kind of broken. You should be able auto set "previous month" etc
Tracking mentions on Instagram and Blogs weren't possible before.
We rely on Brand24 to provide simple evaluations of a companies mentions across social and the web to determine the quality of the sources they are publishing to and/or the sources that are sharing information about a company.
We wish that the web service or API was more robust. We also would like the rankings for quality to be upgraded. It's good but there is always room to do more in this area.
Brand24 helps us see the big picture of sites, social and other sources for specific use cases. For us, that often involves weeding out sources based on quality and this service makes that easy.
