Setting up follow-up email campaigns that interact with our own system so our customers get a customized experience with us.
Tons of small bugs that happen, particularly when a subscriber gets marked as unsendable. Still not a fan of the new rebrand. It felt way too artsy and overdone, when I'm really going for a nice, clean efficiency since I'm using this as a biz tool.
We're solving a customer sales funnel along with setting our weekly customer experience weeks in advance. Main benefits are a huge time saver and a customized experience for our users.
It is the best and most robust ESP I have used, automation-wise. The native integrations with Stripe and Shopify alone saved our org hundreds of dollars per month in third-party app subscriptions. The logic behind the automation is built for refined and nuanced automation as well as acts as a highly useful ECRM.
The email builder currently is not great at all. Super basic. The ability to import html templates though works like a charm
It ties together all of our platforms into an ECRM with brilliant marketing automation
Everything about the way Drip works makes sense to me, without it being overly simplified. It's powerful and yet, I can usually guess intuitively how to do something – and if I can't I reach out to the wonderful support team and they go above and beyond to help me.
I guess the only thing is that I would like to be able to see the location of my customers.
Segmenting my blog readers and keeping track of where they are has improved my conversion rates to my membership and my understanding of where they're at.
I love the option of resending the same email out to those who did not open the 1st email. It has changed my open rate by 15%
The personalizing emails is not as simple and it could be. The steps to get that set up is a little confusing.
My open rate has increased, we joined drip because of the workflow charts replaced a system I was using for $300 a month and this is doing a great job
Drip's interface isn't confusing, support is excellent, and the mapping for campaigns is straightforward.
The email interface isn't WYSIWYG. You'll have to code your own to get much in the way of customization.
Drip helps me keep clients happy and relationships growing.
Using Drip is super simple to use and their customer service is absolutely top notch. With Drip's built-in tagging, funnels, etc. I am much smarter in my marketing efforts and can really track my clients and where they are within my EatTrainWin host of products.
I dislike the fact that people cannot resubscribe via a LeadPage after they may have unsubscribed from my mailing list. And what's even worse, is they think they have successfully subscribed and don't know of the failure.
Drip allows me to know exactly what stage each client is in at any given time. On one screen I can see their entire history which makes it very easy to segment my list and send only the relevant emails to each person.
The interface that Drip uses is one of the most user friendly that I've encountered in over a decade of using similar systems. You don't have to go digging for different areas, they are right where you'd expect them to be. When they aren't (or if you are having one of "those days" and can't find the answer) their support team is amazing. They've helped me build entire automation sequences when I was struggling.
If you don't have a developer on hand, some of the more complicated features that require some programming or scripts might be a challenge.
It allows us to keep in touch with our readers every other weekend, while also offering downloads and free courses that we can deliver direct to their inbox. I've recently used a campaign as well to match with Teachable so that I can send emails at 6 AM in my student's time zone, rather than only in US time zones.
Drip is very user friendly and simple to learn. Email marking has never been more of a breeze. You can see your conversions and clicks to see what's really working in your campaigns. Making specific lists for different options is very helpful as well as things like abandoned cart recovery reminders.
I haven't actually found anything that I dislike about Drip yet. It took me a little bit to figure out formulating the email campaigns in the builder at first but after I figured it out it was a breeze.
We have solved the issues of connecting with our different customers as we work with both individuals as well as businesses. Being able to offer specialized marketing and information for each of our demographics has been exceptionally helpful. We can also see what information has the most interaction as well as what works and what doesn't.
I love the aesthetic of Drip. It makes working on my email workflows and campaigns much more enjoyable. I find setting up automatic funnels much easier than with my previous email management service.
There isn't much at all I dislike. While the cost may seem high for the first paid tier (100+ subscribers that I'm one) compared to other services you really do get a very robust set of tools and there are so many great tutorials to learn more complex funnels to really get the most out of your subscription.
I've been working on growing my email list using Drip and Leadpages. Drip makes it very easy to set up the funnels for my opt in sequences.
Beautiful interface and great support, plus a network of affiliates that aid in setup. It
Cannot handle contacts with no email address. What if I wanted to use Drip exclusively for SMS automation, or direct mail only? It's a little slanted toward a high tech userbase, when my customer base tends to be more old-school. That's okay- there are other tools I can use for SMS or direct mail.
Sales acceleration, contact re-engagement, automated segmentation, customer loyaltym, customer retention, data cleansing.
