It presents a great number of opportunities for freelancers.
The UI UX is a bit confusing it could be intimidating for a freelancer new to such platforms.
Fiverr is giving a platform with a great many opportunities to connect freelancers to possible projects.
The ability to source short-term help for small businesses.
The Fiverr platform itself, coupled with the fees they take, is offputting.
We needed a short-term, two week solution for a financial analysis and audit issue our small business was trying to solve. Although we called recruiters, the candidates they identified were not up to the task and we had to pay commissions to the recruiters to use the talent.
I tried Fiverr it was a good platform for getting free lancing jobs but with new competitions coming in and not able to grow fast is something which is impacting the reach
It failed to adapt and penetrative other markets where it could have gown a lot but I am sure it will bounce back in this competitive environment that is growing day by day in India
I had a hobby of designing and was looking for more work to do but with the regular work it was difficult yet Fiverr provided a platform that helped me pursue my aspiration as part time projects
I joined Fiverr to find more writing clients and created elaborate gigs for the same. Despite getting impressions, I never got any work from it. It is sad because no matter how good you are, Fiverr doesn't show the same love. Moreover, it is filled with $5 "freelancers" who are undermining their own value.
Fiverr doesn't allow you to apply to projects. You are just a sitting duck waiting for someone to knock on your door and that rarely happens. Even if you get a message, it is usually from scamsters posing as US clients. Fiver is no place for a beginner because it only values pros who made their profile like ten years ago.
Fiverr is an absolute waste of time. It is better to do cold outreach than spend time on the platform. Despite creating good gigs, and offering great services, clients don't come. It is nothing more than a $5 platform to me.
I been using this app as a freelancer and I really make the most of having new graphic challenges as a freelance, I have several gigs in different things and I enjoy these challenges.
I cant switch between being a seller or a buyer / client, a lot of bugs.
a lot of bugs, a lot spam messages
It change the life of a small business, it gives a chance to everyone to freelance across the globe. It also has changed the way Small Business Enterprises operate and communicate. Fiver could not have been convenient in everyday evolving business.
Payment deduction up to 20% make it less if possible. Also had a gig and been checking every few days interest, and i did not received any notification or message, but when i click on my inbox and i saw i had some messages like 5 days before, there was no indications totally ruined my interest.
We earn money by giving service to business, and its great
It's a simple platform to create your own business module for potential clients to review.
Too much competition, charging little to free work. Personally Fiverr is useful for those who are beginners to their field not for legit professionals
NONE....Their is no benefit spending countless hours submitting content for people to come just to work with someone who will literally charge $5 overall for their service.
The platform allows users to offer and request any kind of tasks for very low prices; which is great because if you don't know how to do something or you want to learn about a specific topic, you can pay someone who knows a minimum of $5 (a price set by the seller) and voila! You can sell your services (gigs) for a minimum price of $5; and you can literally buy or sell anything. Pictures, lessons, videos, designs, music, cooking recipes, memes,... As a seller, you get to design your gig, by stating what you offer, the price you want to charge, the time of delivery and so many other aspects, and you can post a picture designed by you, to make it more catchy and personalized.
My personal experience on Fiverr isn't good. I've been trying to sell my services as a general translator for over a year 1000 words for $5 for over a year, without any positive result. There are many people, who've been on the website for years selling the same thing I offer; but, since they're now popular and have been reviewed by their buyers, new buyers always choose them, which means new users, or users with no reviews have it hard to sell their gigs :-( I recently posted another gig, offering lessons via Skype to improve Spanish and English pronunciation (since I'm a Spanish native speaker and an English teacher), but I'm still waiting for my first buyer. I really hope I can start selling on Fiverr so I can see what else the site has to offer.
None, so far. But it's just a matter of selling my first gig. I know friends who offer their services on the website and have been able to make some money.
I love the way profiles are laid out and all the information on them. I think the workstreams are really organised and tidy, as well as easy to access and understand. It's very modern and smooth, communicating with other people was seamless, and I felt like this was an exceptionally underrated platform when I first started using it.
It takes two weeks to get paid. It's a ridiculous amount of time. After the customer confirms payment, you then wait for the payment to go through, and then an extra two weeks on top of that. Once you level up it only takes seven days, but that is still too long. other platforms provide instant payment and you can have the money in your account the same day. This is no way to run a platform for freelancers; we need to eat and pay bills too.
Fiverr helped me find a couple of new customers, which was nice, but I haven't found any benefits aside from the nice layout and easy navigation.
I like the way Fiverr has grown in size and lots of people found it useful to make money and some millionaires are made here. It is non-traditional Website.
Only reason to dislike is there are no ways for newbies to get projects because the older and Experienced ones get projects and everyone prefer such kind of Freelancers. For newbies they only get disappointed.
I don't think of any benefits from Fiverr till now.
I have had a horrible experience with Fiverr. It hosts a lot of scammers. Most freelancers are not professional, and if the work done by freelancers does not meet your criteria, don't expect Fiverr to refund your money. They take a cut from scammers and allow them to scam on their platform.
If you are serious about your project, don't go on Fiverr for your own sake. You are better off with Digital Agencies that have years of experience and know how to do their job effectively.
We posted a project on Fiverr, and the freelancers did a terrible job; we contacted Fiverr customer support and they simply refused to refund the funds. We had to issue a chargeback by contacting the bank.
Support is always available and answered fast. It's a great idea and awsome service for freelancers to get there name and services out in the world.
It's an incredible feeling when a client reaches out to you with genuine excitement after seeing the examples of your previous work. From the conversation and their inquiries, I could tell that things were off to a promising start. To further solidify the partnership, I even offered a substantial discount. However, the moment Mahima realized that I was a black man, all communication and progress came to an abrupt halt. Unfortunately, this is a recurring experience for me, so I decided to remove my picture and replace it with a logo, inadvertently adhering to an unwritten rule: not revealing my race to clients. Curiosity got the better of me, so I conducted an experiment. I created a second account with a non-black male profile, offering the same services and utilizing the same algorithms. The results were astonishing. Someone from a different racial group would have been treated more favorably, and Mahima would have likely purchased my services. Despite offering the same gig at a 90% discount, there was no changing Mahima's mind. This incident constitutes clear racist abuse and direct discrimination, which I am determined to report. While the platform is generally satisfactory, it is plagued by an overwhelming influx of spam accounts that bombard me daily, surpassing a dozen messages per day. If I don't report or block them, my response rate percentage plummets. Moreover, if no one solicits my services for a month or so, the site disables my gigs without warning, requiring me to reactivate them manually. On top of that, they even delete gigs without any valid reasons. It's disheartening that they fail to address these issues when I reached out to them, responding with pre-written messages that sidestep my concerns and promptly closing the request when I called them out on it.
Offer our services for sale to customers and business clients
I guess that a lazy uncreative person can find bad quality designs to use...
How It cheapens the arts and is ruining design and creativity with cookie cutter results.
None. It's garbage. I'd rather pay my child to make something
Nothing is good. Don't buy any gig in here.
Don't buy any gig in here. You may end up being blocked from the website just by opening a few tabs. I have just deactivated my account. Fiverr blocked me twice as I was trying to put on my next order and I was searching for a freelancer. I will put my order on freelancer.com
Nothing solved
**I paid Rs **₹8,186.97 for an order which was never executed. The refund I received is only Rs 5575.68. What happened to Rs 2611.29, almost USD 35? Is it the Fiverr fees through the seller for the cheating client?
Deception. Extracting money, not doing the job, and refunding partially
I wanted to format a book for KDP Amazon but it did not do it and kept a major chunk of fees paid in advance.
Nothing, the admin are so mean and poorly trained to handle dispute
Not professional administration, do not know how to handle dispute
Web design, virtual assistance, product sourcing
Don't like anything about Fiverr. They just use their freelancers.
Payment scams, order cancellation, no customer support.
None
Fiver helped me meet my needs in finding the right candidates for my short-term contracts.
There is nothing about Fiver that I disliked.
