The design is easy on the eye and intuitive.

It can feel a little clunky at times and buggy. For the most part it is ok, but some of the processes could be easier and more flexible in how a user can interact with them.

We are able to better track our time against projects to make sure we are charging appropriately.

It is very easy to use and gives you the option to generate reports in for a certain period of time. It is the best tool for the allocation of resources I have used so far.

There are no real dislikes I have encountered for the moment.

Nice navigation and easy to use in a smart way. My days have been much easier since I started to use this tool. We are not using Excel as a planning tool anymore, I like that because that should be used with data instead.

Sometimes slow with new updates and are missing some parts. The customer support could be a little bit better I would say.

We are using it as a tool to do resource planing.

Float as a simple shared calendar/planning tool do the job.

But Float interface looks a bit old fashioned.

Very simple to use straight out of the box, I had schedules panned within minutes of beginning to use the program.

When we first used it, it was very slow.

Sending email reminders are very handy, and being able to easily check other colleagues timetables.

The easy to understand and use interface, along with the transparency it provides to the rest of the organization. It is a great self-scheduler and to understand my colleague's capacity.

Sometimes the website is difficult to use (i.e. I scroll and it moves a month rather than me just trying to go to the next week).

It is especially useful for my organization where understanding other's schedules is important. This provides transparency to my bosses and team members.

how float gives the visibility on the number of projects running, the resources required on each project and the workload on everyone in the team.

float has a tendency of hanging. on multiple occasions, resource work-blocks were input but were not reflected.

Float allows us to customize how we use the tool to complement our billing system and maximize our human capital.

I wish we could tie it to our billing system and only have one point of data entry.

It's easy to see who has availability across a large team

Loads slow for large teams. Doesn't integrate with Teamwork so you have to manually enter all tasks into Float

Float helps us see, across a large team, which members are at full capacity and which ones have availability to take on new tasks.

Being able to use color schemes for all blocks. Easy access for users and easy to add new users when needed. Being able to slide blocks and set certain hours etc.

Blocks are really big and take up the whole screen. If I want to see the whole team i have to zoom out so far that I am not able to read the blocks annymore. This makes working with Float difficult in some situations to match schedules.

Creating rosters for the team if they have early or late shift, or working from home or the office. Makes it easier for me then using an excel sheet for follow up.

It's great that Float updates live. I can have a chat with my account service team and watch the schedule populate as they fill it in. Being able to see my availability at a glance (or whether I'm over capacity) is a great feature.

It would be better if I could disable email reminders from float at a user level. I could not find an unsubscribe option when management decided I needed a daily reminder email.

It is benefiting management. It helps me better understand what I do day to day but ultimately the information will help with forecasting etc.

I like that there are various calendar views where I can see my logged time in different contexts.

That you can not copy an paste an entry to duplicate it onto a different column.

I am instructed to log my hours in Float and when I log my hours in Float, I am no longer reprimanded for not logging my hours in Float

Great and efficient way to keep track of hours worked, and time spent on various tasks.

I don't dislike anything about Float...

If working with different clients / on different projects, Float is a great tool as it makes accounting easier at the end of the month.

I like the graphs that visualise how much time you have worked.

Keeping up with everyones schedule - both my team and other teams.

Relatively easy to use interface, with a view that helps project managers see what the upcoming weeks/months look like in terms of resource commitment. There are also functions like adding phases to projects that are pretty useful.

Any time, as a resource manager, that I need to add single day commitments in the middle of a longer commitment, I have to stop the longer commitment short of the day needing to be planned, put the day's commitment in, and recreate the longer commitment to resume after the day being planned. This is a huge headache when putting in things like one-day trainings or other commitments that aren't in the "time off" category. There could also be additional tie-ins to other software. Having to manage a forecast in Float and then do other management (time entries, project/task management, etc.) is not very efficient.

Float allows me, as a resource manager, to forecast things out like long-term project commitments and days off for things like holidays. It also allows me to see how a forecast matches up against a budget if needed.

The 'shedule' feature. It helps me to organized my work during the week, and it allows me to see what my bosses have allocated me to in the following weeks. In general I found Float very intuitive and user friendly.

It would be great having integration with other platforms of similar use (e.g Monday)

We solve time tracking . We track time more easily with float.

Checking booking. It's a time saver.

The views are super simple, and the search feature lets you customize your view to easily display what you need. The products help filter by the resources you need to see and breaks the booking out by colour to allow you to quickly differentiate.

Given my user access permissions are limited I do not have any cons to report.

Wn projects are under or over resources and when people are unaware of what other people are doing
