I like that you can see your tasks in so many ways, calendar, to do list, weekly. And it's easy to add sub-tasks and add deadlines for them. I also like that you can create a template for future projects. Thanks!
I would like more color, more backgrounds, more fun fonts.
It's organizing my projects and without this, I'd be in trouble.
The ability to organize tasks into projects, lists, tasks, sub-tasks I like calendar feature. The ability to email a task in priority labels project start date
Nothing, all good. Can't think of anything I didn't like the phone app very much, but i don't have any specific reason, i don't remember. I just use the web desktop version
I get less overwhelmed with my to do lists, they become more doable It's also easy to present a project plan to a coworker
Easy to use, easy to organize into categories, recurring task options
completed tasks don't go away once checked off.
Freedcamp reminds me of my daily tasks. It allows me to set up recurring tasks to keep me on track.
The balance between pricing and functionality! I have used it for almost a year with Internal Projects! and it has been a valuable tool to get things done!
I would like to have more functionalities in the mobile app, like access to files, discussion, bugs, etc.
Transparency in Project Management Reports, Follow-up on tasks and centralized access to information.
After testing dozens of project management software, finding Freedcamp was like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. All of the other software we tested had some things that we liked and other things that we needed were missing. But Freedcamp has everything my agency needed. It is extremely user friendly so that even our less tech-savvy employees are able to easily use it. We also really like how you can share some aspects of a project with people while having the ability to not share all aspects of that project with them.
The only thing that I dislike about Freedcamp is that it does not provide a Gantt chart.
We are using Freedcamp to ensure that all areas of a project are being attended to properly and within a reasonable timeframe. Before using a project management software, our agency found that as projects kept getting added to people's plates, things were getting lost and forgotten about without a proper way to keep everything organized.
So easy and intuitive to use. Let's me keep all project files in one place, along with a calendar of milestones. Helps keep me in track.
Um, a cleaner more modern interface would be nice.
Keep up with multiple projects that are running at the same time.
The company mission is what pulled me in, but the ease of use is what keeps me!
Short learning curve and I can add team members easily.
Organization and communication.
The ease of adding collaborators, making projects, and getting work done. Also, the clean interface, good mobile app, and the cost is very inexpensive for the powerful tool you receive.
I don't like that I can't make repeating tasks with due dates but I am told that feature will be added soon. Also, dislike that you can't really customize the homepage.
My job requires me to manage admin needs for several very different people and projects. Freedcamp helps me easily organize and assign myself and others the tasks needed to make projects happen, increasing productivity and communication.
SIMPLE Easy to use interface Neat and clean design Minimal
I don't like my folders going down vertically, rather than horizontally. I felt things would get missed because of that
I use FreedCamp for a PR client of ours; I was coordinating with my colleague, brand owner, her social media manager, and website designer. There were several areas to be discussed with the team, but not everything at once Many things would fall through the cracks due to lack of follow-up FreedCamp kept our tasks and communications organized
Absolutely--without a doubt--the most incredible, flexible PM software for group collaboration available. Just yesterday, my team went through our final evaluation process of Freedcamp as our PM software of choice, and the pros absolutely outweigh the cons. Some of the major things my team loves about Freedcamp is the increased collaboration and communication, the decrease in redundancy, notification customization, ability to include outside collaborators with different/limited levels of access. We are very impressed with the functionality and flexibility that Freedcamp offers to teams of all different sizes. If you are looking for PM software, compare the features of Basecamp and Freedcamp. I think that you will find that there really is no comparison. Basecamp is $29/month but that is only for your team. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think many companies and organizations operate in a vacuum and don't use outside contractors or partner with other organizations. So... when you are ready to bring in additional contractors and clients, your price goes to $79/month. Both of these include 100gb of storage. Nice, but filled very quickly if you upload art and larger files. Each of the marketplace add-ons are on a trial basis and if they work for you, great. You can pay monthly or by the year. If they don't, don't use them and don't pay for them. I think any team could customize their Freedcamp setup to include every plugin and it would STILL be cheaper than Basecamp. In terms of Customer Service, Freedcamp is outstanding. They truly want the product to be the best it can be and respond to the customer as a valuable asset to making the product better. I have communicated many times with their Customer Service folks and stand amazed that they care so much about their product and those using it. As I have no experience with basecamp, I can't speak to their customer service. Finally, the add-ons have all been great (at least the ones we have used). My team's new favorite add-on is FileEdit, which is an online document editor. No downloading files to make minor corrections just to reupload it back. It's intuitive aspects like this that make me think that this is the best PM software available for time management and collaboration. I highly recommend Freedcamp to any team looking for better collaboration and communication. I think that you will love it!!
The area of opportunity that my team found to be the most significant was the user interface is not very intuitive for less tech-savvy team members, but once I took the time to walk through setting up a few projects, they seem to get used to it and it truly has become a non-issue.
The major 'problem' that my team encounters is having a remote workforce. While the office is housed in one state, with most of the team operating from there, two team members (and multiple collaborators) work in different parts of the country. We often have no idea what the status of each project is, and this application has become so valuable in making our team more "in the know" without adding unnecessary phone calls and emails and MEETINGS that waste time and decrease productivity.
Love how easy it is to use. LOVE that it's free. The different layouts (list and sticky) works for all sorts of people. Uploading documents, discussions, notify specific users, I can't say enough great things about it!
Haven't come across anything I don't like, it's an awesome way to collaborate.
Trying to make a business with friends that don't live in the same city. Benefits with this program are endless. We can all upload, discuss, and collaborate all from separate computers and have everything stored and organized in one location.
Our multiple businesses have tried every CRM, Project Manager, and Task Management system out there. From free ones to enterprise editions. Nothing has been as simple and cost effective as Freedcamp! We love the easy of use and it's UI design. It just works.
So far there are NO dislikes besides having to pay separate for their other integrated services like invoices. BUT they are extremely inexpensive.
Better task management, more productivity, easier to track hours and what gets done.
The tool is free, and it is easy to use.
I did not find something that is missing. Maybe the UX of the mobile app, i find it harder to navigate quickly in tasks with my phone.
We have set up a project management system that works for us. We have over 50 projects and everything is well organized. Kanban view for almost all of the projects is great to visualize the project needs and priorities.
Freedcamp is one of the best known and most effective management tools for large organizations that can be achieved in the market because it has mainly unlimited functionality in both the free and professional subscription, but however in the paid function is where you can take advantage of a larger scale storage system and more effective services as it provides the management of documents, projects, collaboration, reporting and monitoring of the tasks they want to perform
Although freedcamp has unlimited user access for free and that is a great advantage in that same function does not have much data storage that is a disadvantage, but when you hire the professional service functions provided increase in large numbers but in our experience we have had difficulty with the customization of certain projects this because it contains many features and costs a little to organize, it would be easier if they trained or sent a report of the operation before recruitment
According to the experience we have had during this time with freedcamp there have been more positive things than negative things, since this tool has served as a boost for our company since it started running inside. Freedcamp has managed to simplify the details and tasks within the organization, all this comes from having the AKA sticky notes and Kanban boards to cover more widely the operations. This tool has also provided us with solutions for managing invoices, project templates, wikis, and problem tracking. This is clear from the fact that the tool is easily synchronized with Google Calendar, which allows us to manage it more easily
My organization receives a large amount of projects daily from our customers that is why we have always used project management software Freedcamp has been a wonder what has caught my attention is its platform which provides the user with a comprehensive set of tools and capabilities to manage central projects, manage documents and problems, manage portfolios, reports and monitoring of tasks and times the system also offers many free versions that have unlimited functionality and are as complete as a paid version
There are some negatives of Freedcamp which you can only realize when you have time using this software firstly its mobile application which is not as solid as the browser based application, the configuration of the projects can be a bit complicated at the beginning and you need to adapt to the methodologies that this software has, tracking cost until completion is a function that this software practically does not have and I would like to integrate it in an upgrade and to conclude it has a strange prioritization of basic functions
In large organizations like the one I belong to we need to use project management software every day because we still measured a lot of work by our customers we started using the free versions of Freedcamp and when we saw how effective and simple it was to use it to manage documents, portfolios, make reports and track tasks and events we decided to stay using this software and actually we have had good results in all this time now our work is much easier and fluid
Freedcamp is a platform designed to help users organize and collaborate effectively in the cloud has a vast set of tools and capabilities including core applications such as assignment to team members, scheduling events through a calendar, forums to discuss ideas and time tracking just to mention a few functions, has enough customizable templates, its interface is simple and easy to use, have a technical support whose response time is fast and efficient and finally Freedcamp is an extremely economical software for those companies who want to save on management applications.
Freedcamp is a modest application that still has many things to improve for example is not an intuitive and automated application requires more fields of customization to better adapt to user needs, does not have enough tools for managing portfolios function that I consider important for all project management software also can not manage ideas, budget and finally it is really difficult to try to track project costs until its completion I must add that this application still has much room for improvement and would fix several points with a good update.
We have been trying Freedcamp in my organization for a considerable time and I can say that it has been quite useful as a complementary tool for the assignment of tasks for the execution of projects and to schedule events in the calendar. Also lately we have been using the discussion forums that it offers within our department since it helps us to make clear points, discuss ideas and raise objectives, things that are important for the successful execution of a project.
Freedcamp's software has many strengths among them I can mention its scheduling and project planning function which offers a task list system that allows us to tag relevant users, comment on the progress of tasks and share project resources such as documents, graphs and charts, the time tracking tools are also quite good you can track individual tasks, it also has an interactive calendar where you can organize in dates the tasks, its duration and priority finally has a very economical price
Freedcamp's software still has some points to improve the priorities in my opinion are its interface which I consider has an unattractive design and does not host in an organized way all the functions, it does not have enough tutorials to help adopt a simple way the operation of software for this reason I think that the learning curve is high I would like a little more simplicity when working, it is difficult to manage a follow-up of costs until its completion and finally it does not have enough templates to make graphs
My organization has used Freedcamp for quite some time as project management software since it is quite effective for scheduling and planning projects, one of the frequent uses we give it is also to create Gantt charts and kanban boards which have a methodology that we know very well in my organization another function is time tracking that allows us to visualize the time spent on each task and its completion date all these functions have meant significant progress for us
Freedcamp is an innovative online project management platform that allows the user to collaborate in different projects simultaneously, it is a platform in which you can operate for free is very positive from the point of view of the portfolio, has a lot of complements in addition to its applications for IOS and android is a platform under development your project is to become a premium software and its margin of improvement is quite good in it you can make Gantt charts, agile methodology, tracking hours, expenses and resource management among other things.
It still needs to go through a path to consolidate itself as a premium platform for project management, the interface especially of the applications for IOS are a little outdated and slow with Freedcamp for example you can not manage a budget or a portfolio as well as you can not track costs until completion and the free version does not have video tutorials to learn how to use the tools.
My organization has used the free version of Freedcamp to manage tasks, make Gantt charts and also plan some automated tools such as quotes, estimates and billing. The use of Freedcamp has been a test to see if it can be a useful tool for our department and the truth is that the results have been very promising as the platform is extremely easy to work with.
Its interface contains a variety of administrative tools of resources and tools, built by verifiable methods of creation of professional management, formed by active mechanisms of operational follow-up, with skills of collaboration, which distribute rationally the management of the resources of the company by means of its impeccable programming of efficient analytical projection of moldable results, which has numerous lineamientas forjadores of corporate development of projects.
An error in its management performance support contains a method tracking problem, where the system fails to comply with the guidelines established to generate an impeccable work affinity, making it more difficult to obtain the best results for the company, so that it is possible to achieve the most favorable work management power for the organization, limiting the formation of a programmatic project guarantee index.
Freedcamp has been useful for my company because of its capacity to create business projects focused on the interpretative management of movements related to the transfer of information for the realization of data channeling processes and programmatic quality follow-up of campaigns and corporate analysis, which have allowed my organization to achieve a healthy proportion of successes and results of great relevance for its operation.
It's a great program that allows us to work together effectively as a team. It's also simple to use, so I find myself using it for my own tasks, not just our team projects.
It's still a newer program, so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of its competitors yet.
We started using Freedcamp because tasks were falling through the cracks and some of our team was overworked while others were underutilized. Freedcamp has helped us keep track of all our tasks and better distribute workloads.
