Compare GoDaddy Website Builder with other popular tools in the same category.
I like the low cost to use the service (it is far cheaper than most website builders out there) and I also appreciate that it is more legitimate than things like Wix.
While it is more legitimate than most, it is a bit more complex in terms of navigation and getting used to the features. Once you find your way through all the tools, it makes you feel like you are actually designing a website via code rather than using a website builder.
I used GoDaddy Website Builder to build a personal website that I could use when applying for jobs. As for benefits, the main benefit is that I can go in and make changes and update the site every so often pretty easily.
Easy to use, great support, you can make backup points and restore functions
No ecommerce tool, can’t change themes (Squarespace and weebly let you change themes as often as you want, basic mobile display
Making websites
No programming knowledge needed. Using drag and drop features, it is easy to launch a website/e-store.
Customization beyond a point not possible. Especially for e-stores, you might need specific ways to display a bundle of products under one group. Such customizations not possible through GoDaddy Website Builder because the source code is not within your reach.
I have used GoDaddy Website Builder for websites of several of my friends in the retail sector. They needed a platform to display latest products along with the likes of their personal profile and contact address.
It is easy to set up and has streamlined the process of building website.
No issues as such, it is almost the same as WordPress.
It has reduced the work of writing codes. We don't need to write codes as such while using this software.
To use the options its easy and more features are available
Styling in a website building community,I think it's low
Building a masterpiece for a Global Growth
It's very easy to use and beginner-friendly. The site reformats itself whenever the themes are changed. The best part is the pricing, you can get basic features for free and even if you decided to pay, the prices are great.
Some of its features lack depth and the resulting site is not that appealing. The block elements are also very restrictive. It lacks a lot of features when compared to other website builders.
I bought a domain from GoDaddy and used its website builder to build a website. The services are quite easy to use and if you're new then it is the best. If you want advanced features then it's better to look somewhere else.
i like its versatility in domain names and its ability to host websites
I wouldn't say I like that often i use go daddy to connect to different website builders such as Voog or Wix, or WordPress
im solving the problem of being able to access different domains as some websites dont let me use .ca
Must have. Ease of use. Great tool. No need to know coding
Sometimes it slows down. But their tech support is great to help anytime.
Building website for my amazon business.
I love that it has standard templates that you can choose from but also has a variety of templates based on your industry.
I run into problems all the time with GoDaddy where updates may occur and you don't get any notice with it. I end up sitting on customer service forever asking why the bar on the top of my page has changed colors and now I can't get it to go back to the way it was. When it works, its great, but when it's broken its super frustrating.
An easy and cheap website builder for our non-profit organization. It's much easier than paying out of pocket for a website coder. Its simple, and to the point.
première prise en main très simple d'utilisation prix raisonnable bien pour une petite entreprise
utilisation simple mais manque un peu d'ergonomie interface un peu datée
un hébergement très bon marché pour une première entreprise de e-commerce
I like the ease of this program. I enjoy all the drag and drop qualities.
I don't like the fact that you can't alter the templates with additional you're stuck with only about 10 options
The host our website which generates traffic for our business.
I liked that it offered various themes based on my company's product.
I disliked how much it cost to keep the site running for a year. I wish the cost was less.
GoDaddy website builder offers the ability to schedule clients through software within the builder. This is helpful because I can't schedule multiple clients at the same time.
GoDaddy is great for people who want a cheap option. It is kind of a one-stop shop for everything you need while building a website. You can get your domain there and then use the site builder to make it how you want with little time invested.
I do not like how complicated it can be to do all the things you need. In fact, I spend a lot of time watching YouTube videos to figure things out which is frustrating.
I am able to build sites easily and with little time once I get into the groove and figure out all the quirks of using GoDaddy Website Builder.
The ease of the app. Very user friendly
Nothing bothers me about this. I like everything
Being able to build my own website
It has all the basic expected features, and can certainly get the job done
The hosting options are not great, the plans aren't well priced and it's very challenging to transfer in or out a domain
The software is good for setting up businesses who don't have the time & money to hire an HTML builder, etc
It is straight forward to use and gets the job done.
Not the best builder out there considering the competition. One could easily find a better solution by using a CMS like WordPress.
Building websites for clients and businesses.
I liked the tools and range it allowed me to be able to create my own website with my personal URL, especially for someone who is a beginner and not much knowledge or expertise in this field or anything technical related.
At times it could be confusing, but then again, I am a beginner. You have to have a lot of time and patience to be able to find an available website name.
I am able to personally create my own website without having to have another person to do it for me. It saves me time and money to do it myself and to my taste one on one.

The platform is a great option for the small companies with the basic set of features and budget-friendly price. If you are looking to buy only Domain Name then Godaddy can be an Excellent choice for you but for Web Hosting I would rate them (2 out of 5).
Web hosting speed is very slow. As we all know that Nobody like to visit a Slow Loading Page/Website so in that case it is a bit behind than user requirements.Another important thing is Bad customer support. Whenever you'll complain about bad hosting they'll tell you to upgrade Hosing Plan. If you will host more than one site then Forget about your Website loading. Sometimes it may take around 5–10 minutes or may show you an error. Godaddy say that they offer 99% up-time Guarantee but as per my experience I found my Website to be Down-time most of the Time.
I was willing to create a Personal blogs and for that I was looking for a Company which can provide Domain Name as well as hosting at an affordable cost. No doubt Godaddy is cheap if you are planning to start something new on your own but with that price tag it comes with some problems. It was my first experience of using my own domain name, it surely helped me a lot. "CHEAP" that's the only main benefit i got.
It was easily set up by our web designer, and has functioned without error since then (18+ mo).
There are 3-4 steps to log in, just to the email; there seem to be no shortcut, even though it's the only way we use this service. We would like to connect other Windows products we've purchased more recently to our Outlook account via GoDaddy, but no one seems able to help us with this.
We had to have a reliable platform for our website, and we have it. Everything is consistent.
I like how easy it is to set up and use. They throw in their own website builder which is a great plus.
The lowest price plan is pretty limited and the tech support is lacking.
Efficiency has gone up because speeds have improved with our websites.
I like that there are helpful tools to help you get the most of what you need and work through it
It is very slow and godaddy integration is hard
just focusing on my website and the layout for my website when I want to build something and get it going
I like the customer services they offer, they are always right there to help me when I need it.
I wish the pricing was a little lower or they had more packages.
I am solving having all of my stuff in one place and the benefits come from everything being in one place.
The best part about building a website with this program is that everything is customizable, as long as you know the right code to create it. I also liked how easily you can incorporate Dreamweaver as well.
While I liked that you start with a blank slate, that’s also what I disliked. Using this program requires basic knowledge of html to say the least, it’s definitely not for a newbie.
Main benefit is that you have the option to create a truly unique website. One that works for you.
Pretty straight forward and easy to go live because it's a GoDaddy product
Doesn't allow for much elevated design and functionality. Templates are pretty basic and not that impressive.
An easy solution to building a website quickly and cost effectively

Doesn't sync up properly on google chrome.
I'm getting advertising and promoting my books
Easy to use and set up. But that's about all.
GoDaddy website builder does NOT scale. If you are planning on growing your business, this platform will not scale with it. You cannot add Google Tag Manager, you cannot add gated assets to your site to capture leads. You are limited to a small set of content formats. It is very limited. Unfortunately, once you've invested in GoDaddy, you then have to start over in WordPress if you want a platform that can scale.
It was good to get started, but then it doesn't scale as the business grows.
I really don't like much about GoDaddy, it isn't user friendly and there are many glitches.
I hate Beaver Builder, it's never the same each time you use it and changes you make do not display properly once you've edited it. There is no easy way to go back and it's overall not user friendly whatsoever.
I have a website built with GoDaddy website builder, but it comes with much frustration.
It offers website hosting and building for low cost
There are only a fee templates and they are very easy to manipulate
N/A
I really can't find anything redeeming about this software.
It gives people with no graphic design, development, or user experience sense to think that they can create a great website because "it is so easy".
Nothing is solved with this software. Some clients are duped into believing that a professional looking site can be created "easily" with GoDaddy website builder. That is so misleading it borders on false advertising.
