GoDaddy has over 78 million domains under management and is arguably one of the biggest domain registration providers today. With GoDaddy, it’s easier to establish your name online and establish your presence. It is one of the most trusted domain providers with tools that include domain name search, domain transfer, privacy protection, WHOIS database search, domain auction, domain name value appraisal, domain backorders, and domain investing.

A user-friendly interface is easy to understand. You can set up multiple domains easily. It has ready-to-use website templates, which will help new users. Provides fast loading time and pretty good customer support also help you to maintain your website's reputation.
It offers limited live support, which I do not like so. First-time users get huge discounts, but the price dramatically increases during renewable. lots of HTML 500 errors. Sometimes I face an issue during login. Not so many plugins are available for GoDaddy. In my opinion, their email service is expensive than others.
If you are thinking of registering a domain, this is usually the name that comes to mind. GoDaddy also offers hosting plans that can make it easier to manage your web presence.
GoDaddy is good at what they do. They are a large-scale company so you pretty much know what you're going to get. Which can be good and bad. When GoDaddy is good and everything is going well everything is GREAT! Sometimes though, stuff happens and things break and that's when you wish you were with a smaller and more individualized company.
GoDaddy is first and foremost a company that has to make money. And a lot of it because of their size. When something breaks, whether it is my fault or GoDaddy's, I feel like they are ALWAYS trying to upsell me something or get me to spend money somehow. If you are a salesperson--you should work here!
GoDaddy does all the hosting and support for many of my company's websites and being the web manager I work with them the most.
Configure everything is quite easy and the workflow is pretty straightforward. Great price for an entry-level hosting. But definitly need to move away as soon as you get medium or high traffic.
Weak servers as soon as you hit many hundreds visitors at the same time. Support service is quite weak too.
This is great for cheap, low-charge website. Saved few bucks on hosting for a small project.
The ease of the website, how recommendations appeared if you didn’t see the domain you were looking for.
The pricing for domains were kinda high and it can be a monthly or yearly plan.
Finding an available business domain or need something available if the one I wanted wasn’t available.
The service is great, I transferred a domain almost at the deadline, the process was simple and quite fast.
The only flaw of GoDaddy, lies in the prices. Comparing the products offered with other service providers, we find high prices.
I've been transferring a domain in an emergency, it had expired and all the mail services were down. With a minimum expense I requested the transfer and I waited.
They take care of your design soup to nuts. Can guide you along the way to help you get a professional website
Was handed of to a new person each step of the way. Surprised by the restrictions on customization.
We needed a website update....and fast. They made it happen on time and within our budget. Increased our web presence and did get us some customers
GoDaddy has solid customer service and multiple ways to get ahold of them. Their products are also stable, we don't have any/many issues with services being offline.
I think they purposefully try to confuse their customers into upgrading services even when they don't need to. Even when I cancel a service I'll get renewal notices that try to trick me into renewing.
Host our domains, email service provider
Domaine name search is very easy. Lots of variety for .com.
Very poor service when it come to calling them up. There is not much
domain purchases
Easy to use for the most part begginers also. The format is simple. Everything is placed logically. Easy to compose email.
Takes long to load emails and can't go back from reading email to inbox easily.
Just doing communications with go daddy
GoDaddy provides some very sharp prices that are hard to beat elsewhere.
The dashboard can be difficult to navigate, with many sub menus and options hidden away depending on what you're trying to do.
We purchase our domain names through GoDaddy, but use other providers for all other functions. We know we can get a good price and that renewals will continue to be at a low price.
Their hosting service is good. Pretty straight forward. I've also had good luck with their helpline and they send lots of discount codes via email.
Their email service is slow and the setup is a little old fashioned. They want you to update to the new 360 even though we are on a 5 year contract.
Domain hosting, it allows me to have a functioning website.
They have really helpful customer service. They are quick at answering questions. THeir dashboard is easy to navigate. They made it easy to transfer hosting services. They provide a lot of useful tools.
I disliked the introductory cost and then the massive hike in cost after the year. I also had some trouble with my website frequently being down. I had an issue once with my site that basically had a bug in the coding and they ultimately could not help me fix it, I ended up having to rebuild my site from scratch. I wish that they had provided better support, especially for those of us who are website dumb.
They provided a hosting service for my website, so it allowed me to not have to figure out how to do that on my own. THey helped provide a go to spot for my customers.
Very little down time, good resources and dashboard.
Price is a little steep, renewals too frequent.
Website hosting site.
Customer service is great, always very interested in helping.
CSR's can be pushy about sales. I don't want to be sold more GoDaddy products while I am dealing with a service outage.
Website hosting and hosted email services for our MSO.
they had the domain name I wanted and it was fairly easy to set up
it would have been easier to create a website and have my domain name for the same company
just having my domain name
The price point combined with customer support is great as compared to competitors.
It could just be the nature of the beast, but i find the machinations of web hosting very confusing.
URL purchasing, email addresses
I've been using GoDaddy to register domain names for 2 businesses for almost a decade, and have never had an issue with the host.
Every time I renew, I find it getting more and more costly. I understand everything goes up, but this seems to be going up disproportionately. I do not believe they have a month-to-month payment option like many other web hosting services have. Also, beware of the auto-renew, as they renew without giving you much warning.
I am using GoDaddy to register domain names for both my personal business, and for several different sites at my past job. I rarely have an issue with the site being down and find the mobile layout to have improved over the last few years.
The web hosting service is easy to configure from the web, just like the email service. Very accessible for developers who are just getting started with their career
The web hosting service linux can not be customized once it is already configured, because it is a shared server and has certain limitations. It is important to be sure about the type of applications that need to be implemented in order to select the type of service correctly, thus avoiding bad experiences.
The benefit I found is that you can have multiple Wordpress sites implemented, because the Linux serividor allows it. For some customers this is a great feature.
GoDaddy has an easy to use website and excellent customer service. Recently I was designing a clients website and I ran into a few issues with the items my client had purchased, and their CS team was able to get the items I needed and credit back the difference for the two products. I almost always connect to a live person (though there is some wait time). I also like that I'm able to leave a note to have my phone call returned, this is extremely helpful when I'm busy.
I dislike that I need to call in almost every time I need help with hosting items. I cannot use the online chat customer service as that is only for sales items. It would be useful to be able to access a chat for all products and services. Also, their pricing is a bit expensive, in my opinion.
I utilize GoDaddy each and every time I have clients in need of web domains, web hosting, Wordpress hosting, and more. I find their new "Pro" aspect quite appealing in that I can oversee my clients accounts while still signed into my own GoDaddy account. They make managing various clients accounts super easy.
It makes it easy to email everyone in the company and out.
It sometimes just does not work. I can't send or receive emails.
We're all able to communicate and forward emails.
