Connectivity with lots of tools, and platforms. It is inbuilt with gmail and google workspace. So no need of additional signups. We can share files securely inside organization. You can also disable file downloading to make it secure across the organization. Files can be uploaded via UI which supports part transfer of file. We can also integrate google drive with google form and other google tools. It also has youtube like video storage.
You need to have gmail account to upload file. For gmail it has very less storage (15 GB) . Cost is high if you are just planning it for storage not complete gsuite. Download speed is also very less compare to direct file transfer. Lack of bulk data transfer mechanism. You need to use GCP if you plan it for any enterprise usage.
Storage and sharing file across the organization with permission control and access logs become easier with google drive compared to other platforms.
The best thing about Google Workspace is how it enables collaboration to a whole new level, easy to use, easy to manage and has amazing customer service, easy to implement, and easy to integrate

The integration between Google apps and third-party apps is far and away above the other options we've looked into. Load something into Drive and it's available for Chat, Calendar, Docs, sheets, slides, etc. Google Sites gives us the option to make internally available mini-sites, individual client websites for sharing project info, and public-facing sites for general information. We use Google Workspaces every day. All of our employees and clients find it simple and easy to use. We can implement a new integration quickly and easily.
It doesn't integrate with everything yet but even then there are workarounds for that.
Google Workspace solves the problem of having to load something multiple places. We can put a piece of information in one spot and moving it or referring to it in another app is near seemless.

Not everyone is familiar with it. Calendar functions could get better.

All the tools it offers and how those tools how many great features. This workspace is a must everyday for work and school. All the tools integrate greatly and smoothly within each other and even with other softwares just like Zoom. With the zoom example, I love how the events and meeting in google calendar sync up with zoom. Also, customer support is great and overall it is so friendly with any user that even an alien could use this workspace.
When converting or opening files from other format, sometimes it doesn´t convert it perfectly, for example, images move all around and some texts are kept as images in pdf alike formats. Also, I wish the document creating tools like google sheets had more features like excel.
The organization and creation of documents as well as sharing this files within different areas of my organization and suppliers from other countries.
