You can customize specific reports and send certain clients a timely report (weekly, monthly, etc)
-Lag in data (2+ delay) -When choosing dates (specifically in a previous year like 2018), it skips ahead to the following year sometimes
Custom reports for specific clients help tailor their needs
The ability to manage campaigns/partners in an all-in-one platform.
The reporting could be better. With many advancements in reporting APIs and connectors, it would be good to have that type of reporting capability with Impact.
Seamless Affiliate partner management and affiliate metrics reporting.
I like that the platform is easy to use and easy to figure out as a beginner. In general, I really like the platform and how intuitive it is.
I don't like how often I'm logged out and how sometimes my username/password combination won't work until I try it a few times, then suddenly is does. There are bugs from time to time that impede easy tasks but the bugs are usually easily fixed.
We're able to track our entire client affiliate programs and track / pull reports easily. We're able to work with a large selection of partners that other platforms were unable to accommodate and the reports let me track and adjust campaign easily.
The reporting tools that Impact offers are my favorite! I also love the fact that switching terms is a quick and seamless process. Impact gives account managers and brands a lot of insight into what is actually happening when a transaction takes place. The transparency and detail of those reports is what appeals most to me.
The creation of Ads can be done in many different ways and it's difficult at times to appeal to the preferences of all the publisher because of this feature. If we want to push out a simple text link, certain publisher will request "text links", while others prefer "deals" and a couple publisher even asked that I create "coupons" which can be a lengthy process that involves a lot of duplication.
You get to understand where the true value of certain publishers lies because of how detailed the reports and insights are.
It provides great automation solutions for tracking, reporting and payment to power partnership deals between brands and it removed a lot of manual work to support such deals.
The reporting function, especially the reports for individual partners' performance, can have a better UX design to make the experience more intuitive.
It's a centralized platform to manage attribution, tracking, reporting and payments to affiliates and brand partners. We used Impact to automate all of the manual process that we used to have.
I like the reporting tool within Impact Radius. It's intuitive and easy to navigate unlike some of the other affiliate programs.
There are some technical portions that make it difficult for marketers to use. There's several pieces of technical integrations that make it difficult.
Tracking and paying affiliates in an easy manner. We just need to write a single check.
Visibility into our affiliates activity, custom IO's, and the flexibility to manage our content within the platform.
There have been some issues with syncing between platforms (Marketo/SFDC). There have also been some issues with customizing our auto-invoicing.
Management of our affiliates and allowing our affiliates visibility into lead performance.
Activate is very user-friendly, easy to navigate and apply for campaigns. All of the contacts I've had for campaigns have been extremely helpful and quick to respond to emails.
Activate's campaigns can be pretty low in terms of rates offered on the site. I would also like to see more opportunities on the platform- I notice a lot of old ones stick around even after the date has passed.
Given me opportunities, I wouldn't have had without the platform. Puts me in front of brands I'm interested in working with and gives me the chance to apply directly to the ones I am excited about.
You can work with a variety of different brands.
The rates for the campaigns are lower than working with a brand direct.
I use Activate so I am aware of which brands are doing paid campaigns. I've done one campaign with Activate in the last year and it was very easy to submit links.
Seeing the performance metrics as they come in so I can review and adjust my programs as needed. Tons of features that make this a very customizable tool to use and tailor programs for different affiliates.
In my particular instance it was quite hard to implement the conversion pixel on our store to get it to integrate with our site - but I don't think it should have been that difficult.
We needed to expand our network of where our products are being seen. This program run by Impact Radius has helped us increase our e-commerce revenues.
One of the standout features of Impact.com is its comprehensive suite of tools for managing partnerships. From tracking performance metrics to automating workflows, Impact.com offers a robust platform that streamlines the entire partnership process. Additionally, its intuitive interface and user-friendly design make it easy for both beginners and experienced users to navigate effectively. Overall, Impact.com's dedication to providing a seamless and efficient partnership management experience is what I appreciate most about the platform.
While Impact.com offers many valuable features, one aspect that could be improved is the complexity of its pricing structure. The various pricing tiers and add-on features can be confusing to navigate, especially for smaller businesses or those with limited budgets. Simplifying the pricing model and providing clearer guidance on which features are included in each tier could enhance the user experience and make it easier for businesses to choose the plan that best suits their needs. Additionally, some users have reported occasional glitches or technical issues with the platform, although these seem to be relatively infrequent and are typically addressed promptly by the support team.
Impact.com simplifies partnership management by centralizing tasks, providing detailed analytics, fostering better communication with partners, and ultimately increasing ROI through optimized processes.
The display page is alright and the visibility and transparency is good
payment method takes to long to activate and compliance team take to long to respond.
Ability to cross audience and brand
Being able ot add links to products and getting an affiliate link to use
searching for vendors to use for my industry
tracking affiliate sales
1. Reporting: I love how we can get all kinds of data reports from Impact 2. Flexibility in commission setting: Our business is complicated, it's really good that Impact provides me options to set up different commissions or bonus payment depending on categories and affiliate performance and also timing.
1. Service and support: I totally understand that Impact is a SAAS company, unlike the traditional network Rakuten CJ where they provide more services. However, it really annoys me that when I need my rep urgently but I couldn't get in touch with him. and because the way that impact works - rep is allocated based on agencies, so once we bind with one agency, we bind with one rep, I can't change my rep if he's really bad. 2. Tracking: Impact is not doing very well in terms of app tracking, it's not a great option if you are heavily app focused.
1. Impact helped me manage affiliates as a CRM so it's easier for me to communicate with affiliates 2. Finance and payment: Impact helped us manage payment, which could be very difficult if we need to mamage it in house.
The aspect I like most about Impact is that they offer a rather large variety of partnership opportunities.
The support is extremely lacking and very slow to respond.
Impact does make it easy to communicate with the vendors in cases of confusion or questions.
I like that impact gave us as marketers, many options to market and gain commissions. In addition, we love to have everything on one platform instead of different platforms.
I didn't like that impact does not have a recurring affiliate program that pays you every month unless the client cancels their subscriptions in the programs...
Impact is giving us the opportunity to have extra income, even if you are not a marketer, you can still make some money using your social media audience. that why I use impact ( I'm a digital artist)
It has a very intuitive interface and all data are clearly visible
There are few brands that also operate for the Italian market and this is very disadvantageous compared to other platforms offering affiliate programmes.
I have not experienced any particular problems so I have nothing to say about it.
I only like that my main partner accounts are here.
It would be helpful to create links more easily from mobile. A lot of similar sites have widgets in the browser that make it easy to create links while browsing the sites- this doesn't have that. I just don't find this very user-friendly as compared to others. The only reason I'm here is bc my largest partner accounts are on this platform
generating commissionable links from my partner accounts
Accuracy of the revenue tracking and transperancy.
Lack of support of contacts with advertisers.
Accuracy of conversions.
Likes marketing in impact to make an impact
I can't control the refund problem in real time.
Can support the co-promotion of partners to achieve fast sales
