Ease of having all affiliate operations live in one place, reporting capabilities, responsive account management, willingness of Impact to accommodate our custom needs
Dashboards/reports sometimes take far too long to load, UI can be a bit buggy/not that user-friendly
Impact has been a great one-stop shop solution to run our affiliate partner program
The interface is very user friendly. Pulling reports and data is simple and customizable to our needs.
There isn't much I dislike, but I would have to say the amount of crashes and issues with logging in I have from time to time makes things frustrating when trying to do reporting or pull information for our clients.
We use Impact for Affiliate marketing as a center to connect with our partners.
As an agency providing partnership marketing to our clients, the platform offers an awesome level of flexibility particularly regarding creating complex commission structures and reporting. It's also very reliable.
There's still too many bugs - they're trying to be agile and develop new features all the time which is great, but they need to be more careful to avoid breaking existing ones as they go. They can be very slow or dismissive when complex resolutions are needed to issues.
Create meaningful partnerships that drive online sales.
Team is very supportive, lots of different actions you can track
finance process is confusing, seems like we are always behind
additional tracking KPIs, better CPAs from more efficient spend with pubs, help/support from their team
the information available in the bevy of reporting
logging in and out between campaigns and getting the error message
compliance issues, with the amount of information available it is easier to have good insight into publisher behavior
When support or environmental issues came up, I found the issues to be well-documented. I appreciate Impact being ahead on some of the issues like Apple's tracking changes. The detailed analysis of the situation and impact, along with a proactive resolution is appreciated.
Navigation inside the platform is not bad but could use some improvement. Again, not bad, but it takes a while to get used to finding things. Some of the reports are not helpful. I can see where some things make more sense depending on the type of user.
Affiliate tracking and payments. We still have issues on our end to ensure we track everything correctly. It seems that Impact offers what we need if we get it implemented correctly.
The level of support we get from the Impact team is very good. We find the whole team really responsive and helpful to any queries we send across.
The aesthetics of the platform could be a little better. That and rate changes we apply to partners, we find other systems have better processes in place to set these live.
We are able to run niche affiliate campaigns via Impact, at a better level than we could via a traditional network. Impact also allows us to be more flexible with partners
The team is great to work with. They are incredibly supportive, transparent, as well as helpful with anything that we need. They are a great partner in the space.
The platform seems to work slowly and crash somewhat frequently. There are days when I get log on for at least an hour at a time which then slows down the work me team is doing for our brands.
The reporting capabilities and commissioning structures are really amazing. It's great to be able to pay out partners on a desired action instead of the standards we see with other platforms.
I love the technology of Impact. On the advertiser side things are very intuitive and the overall functionality of the platform is great!
Sometimes the system can be slow or gives an error for what seems like no reason.
I work with media partners so the functionality of the commissioning structure has been amazing. The updates that have been made to contracts have made so many different things possible which is great especially for testing.
I like how granular you can get with the reporting functionality. SKU level reporting is huge for me because it maximizes accuracy. I also like how customizable the Insertion Order terms can be, particularly with locking dates. Having a uniform locking date across all programs on Impact doesn't make sense to me, so allowing each program to customize this around its own return policy means that commissions aren't being paid out on orders that have been returned.
I wish that the Posting Date (i.e. the date that a transaction was posted in Impact) was included in reporting functionality, as opposed to just the date of the transaction. This would give greater insight as to when transactions were modified, and it can be useful for differentiating between pre and post-reversal numbers. My other suggestion would be to allow for order modification files to be sent via the Impact interface, rather than through Filezilla. Perhaps there is a reason for Filezilla, but having an interface option would make the process a little bit more user friendly.
I use Impact to dig into performance data in affiliate programs. The reporting features offer a wide array of customizable reports that allow me to look at performance in multiple ways. This is nice because it saves me time from having to manipulate data in Excel to see it in a usable way. Impact does a lot of this for me on the back end.
Impacts report system is amazing. Feature is great for grabbing data quickly and efficiently.
Non so far. Impact has a very user friendly system.
Easy management of my sales and reports being pulled in daily/weekly/monthly sessions.
Impact as a platform is robust in reporting options. Their reports offer ways to analyze data on a granular level and customize reporting to the needs of clients. Promotion code tracking is another perk. However, the most impressive part of working with Impact is the customer service! Neil and team always respond to requests with thoughtful, constructive information, often within minutes.
The biggest downside of Impact is the glitches within the platform. There are many bugs that will often shut down the platform for a half an hour, boot you out of the login, or send errors when you try to download reports. It is also often very slow to load - other platforms are much faster for pulling data.
Customized data is a huge benefit from Impact which allows us to better make strategic decisions on behalf of clients. The TrueLink mobile technology should be a great benefit for clients down the line.
Impact is able to solve problems with IOs, partner management, and reporting I cannot find elsewhere. They put the control in advertisers hands rather than publishers, and allow advertisers the best customization for their affiliate marketing programs. Their interface is the easiest to maneuver out of other platforms I have used and simplifies things greatly for advertisers.
Impact can often times be glitchy, forcing me to clear cookies weekly, if not more. Some of their reports are often times wrong, which makes me doubt the data I pull.
One problem I have solved involves customizing contracts and tailoring payouts on the publisher level. Impact allows me to pay partners in such diverse ways that other platforms cannot. In addition, Impact has in depth reporting that dives deeper into attribution that other platforms do not provide.
The interface, custom report builder, flexible contract creation and the ability to connect with partners.
Invoice structure can be difficult at times.
Driving strong ROI for our advertisers via connecting them to a unique and wide range of partners.
I like the customization of the platform because it gives me exactly what I am looking for. If there is something that the platform doesn't have that you need, the Impact customer support team will make sure to pass it along to their tech team to get it created for you.
That the report descriptions are in layman's terms. It makes it hard to branch out from the 2-3 reports that you are used to pulling.
Impact helps us with reporting needs.
Cross-channel analytics, dynamic commissioning
- Include more partners in marketplace - Provide more actionable partner insights. - Cannot customize report timeframe on dashboard
- Reduced commission rate with dynamic commissioning (adjust payouts based on sku, channel, location, etc.)
The most helpful function for me is the reporting dashboard - being able to quickly get campaign data for clients
I seem to have trouble logging in, where I'll get logged out and redirected and have to sign in multiple times quite frequently
Leapfrog analysis is huge for us in being able to optimize our partnerships
I love the ease of use, very intuitive and it has everything there so you can sign and launch an affiliate within minutes and with minimal back and forth.
Their reporting could be much better and things that would think very obvious (example how to match clickid with order id) is missing.
Contract repository, partner management, tracking, payment.
You can customize specific reports and send certain clients a timely report (weekly, monthly, etc)
-Lag in data (2+ delay) -When choosing dates (specifically in a previous year like 2018), it skips ahead to the following year sometimes
Custom reports for specific clients help tailor their needs
The ability to manage campaigns/partners in an all-in-one platform.
The reporting could be better. With many advancements in reporting APIs and connectors, it would be good to have that type of reporting capability with Impact.
Seamless Affiliate partner management and affiliate metrics reporting.
