Intuitive Inputs and usage of the software
The line item details are problematic when it comes to copy/paste information into the separate fields. The system times out too soon without me knowing. I eventually get an error message and have to start over.
Efficient workflow of purchase req. approval
We switched from an e-signature app to Kissflow, because of Kissflow's ability to manage workflows. We are happy with the way Kissflow handles approval processes, and the fact that I was able to add certain conditions, to prevent users from having to approve a form multiple times.
Very steep learning curve. Since we deal with multiple grants and allocations, configuring the approval steps, as well as the form itself, takes a very long time, and can be very tedious. There is also no version checking, so I can't see if anyone else has modified a form, as there is no record of it.
We've eliminated paper forms and we've made the processing of financial, HR, and operational forms much more streamlined. Now that the users re more comfortable with Kissflow, we look forward to testing out the company's major updates.
Ease of use. You can be up and running quite quickly.
We have a structure where each department maintains there own flows. I would like a hierarchy view of flows by department because it gets quite messy otherwise.
Workflow management, we have automated alot of workflows and gotten ride of paper and emails
Its very customizable and is well organized
Sometimes it's hard for the flow of things to work properly/limitations
We have become organized and bettered the communication.
Pretty customizable. Integrations are useful.
It would be great if you added new tools or features. For example, instead of having to integrate with Zapier and setup a manual connection to a Google Sheet, it'd be great if that was a built-in part of KiSSFLOW. Good tool but hasn't been improved on since we started using it that I can tell. I'd expect improvements or maybe a discount in the price. I also think the billing is odd. They send a bill when it's due and remind you to make payments a couple days later. It would make sense to bill 30 days before the bill is due like every other vendor. Or just auto renew with the CC on file.
Payment approval processes. It's all digital now, or at least more digital than it was before. And it allows people to approve things on the go!
simple and easy to use for non technical staff
too simple and limited customization if we would like to have more function and fancy form
transform paper form to e-form for approval as part of the audit.
We've used Kissflow to build an invoice review / approval / status workflow. Works great.
Unfortunately, the website is sometimes a bit slow to react.
We had no problems building the workflow as desired.
Kissflow is great for helping to keep people accountable, on task, and for preventing tasks from slipping through the cracks
Kissflow can be very glitchy, for instance after 9/13/19 we had a handful of our clients disappear and we're still working through those issues two months later. It is also very difficult to change workflows or add new steps, and if someone accidentally changes something in the back end it can completely mess up the entire flow. There is also no way to go back; if there is an error or a change from the step before the step you are currently working on you have to withdraw/discontinue the entire form, re-enter it as a new item, and then push it through manually to where it originally left off. The clarification feature is also tricky, because if an item is stuck in another team member's clarification queue it won't show up in any pulled reports and can easily fall through the cracks.
KissFlow has allowed our company to navigate complex procedures that get passed from department to department, which is very helpful. There are pain points, to be sure, but overall this software allows our company to streamline processes more efficiently in order to keep our clients moving smoothly towards receiving treatment.
The ease of use - ability to import data readily for validation, set up of approval and flows, etc.
Lack of integration capabilities which require us to upload master data via excel
Previous paper based approvals have been migrated to KiSSFlow which provides better reporting capabilities and also audit trail.
I like how easy it is to edit and use. Also, I can extract data instantly which is very helpful in my reports.
I dislike that it does not explicitly say what errors did we incur. I would be helpful if we get a more detailed error message
We want our processes to be online to save on paper, time and so that we can track our requests. We have achieved all of these using Kissflow.

Easy to use + good support. Whenever I have a problem, support from kissflow is ready to help me.
bugs happen very often. Trying to make the kiss flow configuration is quite frustrating sometimes.
Channel of communication and feedback with end users.
It is easy to use and there is not any inconvenience to follow the process of the task that was initiated by initiator.
There are unexpected lost of tasks due to internally wrong settings either bags
dealing with the internal procedures, solving clients intentions
Everyone on a project can be involved at their perspective tasks and it automatically updates them
Some features are confusing. If there is an error and the flow needs to be rerouted, it is easier to just restart. Can be difficult to set up.
Organizing large task lists is much easier to manage and go through item by item, each with its own flow.
All of my tasks are right in front of me and I can access old forms
would like tasks to be grouped by like items - or to at least have that option
Stay on task, not missing deadlines
Our biggest use of KiSSFLOW is to be able to add a table of items to a form in a clean and efficient manner.
Lack of customization. There are many things I wish I could do centered around the logic that many of KiSSFLOW's competitors provide.
KiSSFLOW allows us to solve in-house purchase requests through an embeddable form.
Easy to understand as well to access. Notifies bout the Sent backs or Rejection. Approval Mails
Non-bifurcation of Expense Name. No limit allowed to be set. Doesn't generate the Entries.
Approval of Claims. Budget approval. Keeping a track of the status. And allows the comment for understanding.
The UI is good and the tool is fast! The tool can do a lot.
Because the tool can do so much it can get quite complicated if you want to set u everything yourself. You do need the customer success team to help you with that. Most of the time they answer quickly.
Approval flows
Its interface is really user-friendly, and building new workflows is as easy as building a Google Form. The support team is available at all times and usually replies within 5 minutes, so I don't usually get stuck with the platform, with someone always ready to help.
The interface, though really intuitive, can be really slow, probably due to front-end issues. Some pages take too long to load, and when errors do happen it often won't show what the issue is or even how to solve it beyond a page refresh.
Multiple business processes that needs data filled and approved by many people of many areas have been automated with KiSSFLOW. It scales the productivity as the structured way to insert and review information, as well as Its reports that also scale the analysis capability of those involved with those processes.
I like the versatility of being able to have many requests under the same platform. The design is easy and user friendly, and the report function is really useful.
The search on the report section could be more complete, include more search fields for example if we could look up by user. Also, the creation of new requests is not really straight forward and it's difficult to create new forms without IT knowledge.
Purchases, travel requests and business card requests, I found it way better than our previous system, where things got lost easily and took too long to be solved.
Once you get to learn how to customize you have unlimited options to improve your workflows. I would suggest a professional to help you with the first processes so you get the idea.
There should be more conditional options that integrate with HR systems for example. Who is approver if so and so is out on vacation ..
Purchasing across continents
Personally from my side the API has been very useful, its very intuitive and all the problems we had are very clear to resolve.
I think that the SSO process is nots te simpleast or standard, yo enter your email instead of your subdomain like you see in other platforms(BambooHR, Zoom, etc)
We currently resolve all the issues regarding the amount of travels we have to approve and all the data we have to verify to make sure our employees have the necessary information and accesses to not have problems.
I think Kissflow was the good solution for BPM process, digital tranformation, ....
Support more on report system, reminder repeater, backup solution, backup form,...
All the BPM was process total digital which can help customer, employee, director,... can process anytime, anywhere.
The system can be used to automate multiple processes which opens the door to solutions to many problems. It shares a lot of functionality with Excel which makes it familiar to most users. Customer support is responsive and personable, going above and beyond to help with your query.
A lot of the functionality requires unintuitive workarounds (dummy apps and fields) which could be documented better. Poor error reporting and syntax checking, making it difficult to find errors in your formulae if they are complex.
Stock management for publications and asset management. Using the web form allows us to take orders from the public and keep track of each stage of the order process.
it is easy to use for approving processes
if you deny a request, it starts the whole process over again... if we have a chain of 8 people who need to approve a payment, and it gets denied on the 7th person, everyone has to review it again once a requested change is made.
approving international award payments - wittholding taxes, etc.
Being able to input information in a timely manner.
When you have to wait for the next outset if the flow to do their part.
The benefit is having ownership of your project and the correct channels are followed from start to finish. It only becomes a problem when pay of the chain doesn't push it through or rejects it
We are easily able to streamline the process and approve and deny requests, in a much more simple-easy-to-use fashion.
Works great most of the time, however sometimes you find yourself having to reload it repetitively.
Easily able to print off logs of all approvals and requests in excel format.
I like how convenient it is to get paperwork approved. If you need a higher up position to sign something, we upload it into KiSSFLOW and it notifies us when someone has signed. It's easier than having someone have to drive it over. Extremely user friendly.
Still getting used to the interface; I don't dislike anything thus far.
Benefits is that it saves us a lot of time. Everything you need for approvals has a form, which is convenient.
Great User experience, it was extremely easy to create new forms & customer support was outstanding
Would be nice if there were more in-depth administrator and end-user training
Helps me manage the office better
It helps to bring together collaboration internally to loop in all necessary parties when trying to process unique discounts for deals.
Updates could be better in regards to who have seen the messages and maybe as well what we are waiting on.
This process has helped us to standardize our discounting procedures for a smoother internal communicative process.
