No training needed, you can learn just by using it and navigating.
It would be great if candidates info could be shared at will, not just to hiring managers and HR.
Easy to see information for all candidates sourced for my open roles.
I like being able to find what I need about applicants and very user friendly
No downsides for what I use it for, I will be exploring more
Findin applicants to hire and being able to simplify the process in hiring.
Lever is such a smart tool, connects all the dots I need as a recruiter!
Sometimes I would like it to be faster to see all candidates and easier to read reports.
Lever is organizing all the process flow between hiring managers and linkedin platform. The most benefit is organization and employer branding for Inventa.
It's Very Classic In terms of UI, and functionality is very easy to understand for any new User, which makes it easy to get work done without any hassle. And it is quite fast, bug-free software.
However, If there are more Interactive Features for the Candidates we have referred, timely updated Data will Help. And more colors can be used for better understanding as there are fewer colors rightnow.
For referring the candidate for the company and to get updates on the progress of the selection procedure is going on. And for applying for new vacancies available both External and Internal.
It's so convenient to be able to track my referrals and actually see the progress they have made. It brings peace of mind knowing they are being helped and my efforts are not wasted.
Honestly, after learning the motions there are no downsides that I can see.
I lost out on a lot of referral bonuses before my company switched to lever because it's so difficult to track them. I now can see their progress in real-time and know they are being helped.
It is easy to use and integrates perfectly the recruitment process to engage non HR employees. It makes it easy to add employee recommendations and review a technical interview.
The grading for the technical review could have more options. (e.g something between Hire/No Hire -> somthing like "Hire If") Too many reminder emails to complete feedback for candidate.
Recommandations and Technical interview review.
I enjoy Lever due to the ease-of-use and ability to customize as needed.
At this time, I do not have any cons for Lever. I have been using it a couple months and feel it functions well.
Provides competent ATS system
I can always go back to review interview results besides the availability of CVs that can always be used for reference and referrals etc.
If I get a person whom I never interviewed in my team, accessing either the interview results or CV is not seamless, but there is a need to get it from the interviewers who sometime might have left the organization.
Ease of interviewing candidates with ease of review with customized questions. The answers can be recorded just like a practical exam.
We've used Lever extensively at Snowplow for managing applications for roles and tracking candidates through the hiring process. The interface is simple and easy to use, features are intuitive and easy to configure, and it provides a comprehensive end-to-end platform that works well for all stakeholders involved in the multiple hiring stages. As a hiring manager, I've been happy to use Lever to manage all applications through to hiring and working with our fab Talent Acquisition team to process. I am pleased to use and recommend Lever.
The one thing that niggled me was there was that the workflow to review a large list of initial applicants required us to add a Yes/No screening outcome via Tag - which our Talent team would then administer through to the next stages or send a rejection note. There was no way to make this process more efficient as the REVIEW process is intended for a single administrator - where you can *Advance/ Archive/ Add note* - which does not work for a multiple-touch process! Ideally, you should be able to add tags as part of the quick review process! 🙏
Applicant tracking and management Multiple touch hiring process, collating feedback and scoring
- The search functionality is great! I can always reliably search for a candidate given the names. - Detecting that a candidate had applied before is awesome. - The email template and syncing features are helpful. - The filters (e.g., by owners, origin, etc.) work smoothly.
- Merging candidate profiles is sometimes a little confusing. - Managing candidates with multiple opportunities (e.g., archiving some but not all opportunities or transferring one opportunity to another) is a bit difficult to use sometimes. - The warning message for removing a candidate opportunity (but not the whole profile) seemed like it would remove the whole profile, so it overly scared me.
I've been using Lever to track applicants, and it's been really helpful to have a central place, as I collaborate with other coworkers.
Lever is organized well and makes the interviewing process easier.
It would nice to have more options to select from.
It is keeping us all on the same page and streamlining the interview process.
Very straightforward to use. Doesnt have a lot of sections to look at to get lost.
When accidentally selecting an option for an optional section for scoring in an interview, you can't deselect it anymore. Maybe adding a remove answer option?
Easy to monitor an applicant's status and they show complete information we need to know especially when its time for the interview.
Having everything on one page for the interview process has been super helpful.
I dont know if there was anything that I would want to change.
Keeps everything in one place for the interview process
No need to key in details that are already found in the CV
Employee number keeps getting asked. System should save and set it to default
Tracking your referrals for job opportunities
I love the ability to quickly go through candidates and either archive or move them forward to the next step, makes thing very efficient.
I just wish we could filter by customized fields we add in our application
Being able to go through candidates and bring them through the process efficiently
It integrates with several sourcing/ recruiting tools that we utilize, specifically LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem. I also like the ease of adding manually or uploading candidate profiles. We also did integration with DocuSign for signing offers and NDAs and it went pretty smoothly.
I'd like to see a more robust search functionality. So far it is tags and some amount of Boolean but not as well designed as other tools that I am used to.
Lever allows a seamless interviewing process from the initial contact to Recruiter Screen to interviews by the Hiring Manager/ Team Members. It also aggregates the feedback and made reviewing and decision making more comprehensive and timely.
Iam impressed with the way the candidate profile/ interview outcomes are recorded and integrated with recruitment process. No other tool gives this feel & experience.
Couple of feedbacks:(a) Enhance the tool by providing visibility to the stakeholders on the next hops (until offer rollout) after submission of feedback of selected candidates. Currently, once the candidate is marked selected, one does not know where and with whom the profile is pending and for what reasons. (b) If there are alarming red flags recorded on lever, there should be a mechanism in place to alert the recruiter and the interviewer if the same candidate is proposed for other positions. This way, the interviewer could convey any bothering messages/notes to the concerned individuals in the process in an attempt to save everyone's time and effort.
Resume repository, Database of all profiles screened so far.
I can schedule interviews easily. I can see all the necessary information about candidates on one page.
Problems with scheduling zoom meetings. It caused difficulties in the recruitment process.
Better visibility for me and hiring managers.
I love the ease of use from Lever. Where all I need in order to find candidates, interview candidates, and give feedback to the hiring process is made easy through Lever. I love the integration through Microsoft Outlook that makes it easy to schedule interviews.
The only downside I've come across using Lever is that it can sometimes glitch out when I'm trying to schedule interviews, where it won't add the interview to my outlook calendar. Otherwise, everything else works out great!
Lever has given me my time back when it comes to the hiring process. I no longer have a large stack of resume's to shift through, and scheduling interviews with ease. Everything is in a one-stop shop that really helps keep me organized!
I am on the payroll side of the business. I enjoy being able to log into Lever and quickly be able to determine offer letters, hiring status, and referral names. This is much better than doing things by email which we had been doing before we went with Lever.
While there isn't anything specific that I could point out about level that I dislike, I do with there was some sort of integration that we were participating in that pushed offer letter into ADP for a better complete HRIS system experience.
I am able to see offer letters and hiring statuses quickly. This saves me time by not having to reach out to our recruiting team, which in turn also saves them time as well.
