I really like LP’s dashboard feature. It makes it easy to keep track of projects, time put to different tasks, and upcoming tasks.
I don’t always love the milestone features. Sometimes they don’t work correctly for my team. It is also a painpoint that if a parent folder has a date it overwrites the date of the tasks inside of it.
We are solving departmental gaps and cross-collaboration between teams at work. It also helps with time tracking.
We use the work in progress and complete to activity everyday to see deadlines and project progress.
Downside are that if you have a lot of projects it is hard to find them unless you search because the titles such as work and progress and Pipeline are right next to each other so you might not realize that you started a project.
We are keeping in control and not allowing our various projects to slip through the cracks.
I love how easy it is to pull data and sort and export.
It can be a little clunky to add or find things with multiple projects.
Overall time tracker is number one and project management is number two.
I like the flexibility the software has and allows us to customize our workflow.
I wish there was a way to show LP in real time.
It's helped our planning and scheduling work for different departments in a way that allows us to get the most done!
How easy it is to add new tasks and organize time within the folder structure. Keeping track of which team members are working on what projects and how long they are working at a glance makes scheduling easy.
More layout customization within the timesheet section would be nice. Plus, dark mode.
Time management
Liquid Planner is accurate and tells us exactly where our resources are committed. When we get a new project, within minutes we can determine when it can be done. We have 10 resources working on 5 major projects, 10 medium projects and hundreds of minor work - over 1000 tasks in the workspace - and we know exactly when it all can be done. Using the API we were easily able to get Liquid Planner and Zendesk to integrate as well. Has changed our company! I looked at several different products and this was the only one that instantly refreshed the schedule. The support team at LP are also fantastic.
The customer portal side could be better. It reveals too much data for us to use it on our customers.
Before Liquid Planner we just used to guess when we could do work and we never knew what we had promised to customers. We now get instant feedback on when it can be done. We lock in a promise date using the deadline feature and then if something happens to the plan to move that task beyond the promise date, we know about the issue and can easily solve it.
I love the analytics, reports and data that can be pulled to make informed decisions in the best interest of production. Gives real-time estimates on job completion dates with high accuracy. It has helped to remove a glut of paperwork and streamlined all our processes to where we rely on LiquidPlanner alone for production purposes.
Training employees/customers up in its use can be time-consuming. To get the information you want from reports needs a high degree of knowledge of LiquidPlanner.
We couldnt accurately project job completion dates which we are now able to do. We have also made obsolete our paper systems as LiquidPlanner allows us to track times, costs, job completion rates, billable vs non-billable efficiencies.
I like the ability to track my progress .
I dont dislike anything about liquid planner.
we can track how long projects take to complere
Being able to use priority packets, using dashboards to create client update portals
The timesheet functionality is a bit clunky, the overall UI feels a little outdated and could use a refresh, the cost per seat is higher than others.
As someone who has come from MS Project, using this is a game changer. Being able to prioritize tasks for my day across multiple projects is such a great victory with this. I am able to act with confidence and get from task to task with extreme focus.
The cards option. It is easy to manage and see the progress of every tasks.
Sometimes, there's too many options and view. It can be easily confusable for anyone how doesn't know the application.
It's used to see the deadline for each task, the progress and to see if we are in time. I can do what you want when you know how to use it.
how quickly and easily all of our business can be visualized in an instant. customizable and easy to use.
emails associated with Liquid Planner, but I'm sure there is a way to turn them off.
being able to quickly visualize upcoming deadlines and organization issues.
time management hours are easily tracked
Time-intensive to learn needs more helpful tips
project management (and one of the best, at that), the app can do much more than traditional project management apps.
It provides a great performance for projects because it makes an adequate schedule to organize them depending on their importance. The technical problems that appear when working with project management in a manual way are solved with this software. It plans strategies in a predictive way and gives a recommendation based on the results obtained. The project time is shortened considerably, it gives you information about when to finish it and helps you to know more about your employees. Implementations with the Cloud and the web are very stable.
I don't think there's anything significantly negative. The time to learn how to use all the tools of the trade can be long if you don't have experience using project management software, but Liquidplanner provides a lot of help to accelerate that learning process. The mobile application has inefficiencies when used from an Android device
Our team has dedicated to manage project portfolios in a better way. We can solve the social distance since the program has remote access. Liquidplanner is made for modern businesses, it has given us the option to monitor the activity of our employees and this influences better strategies. We find it less complicated to make decisions because LiquidPlanner provides you with project summary data
Liquidplanner is a satisfactory platform to work with because it drives business control and allows you to execute large projects with high effectiveness, the service is good to help users focus on making more robust decisions and effective for each of their needs, the service provides easy access via the web and mobile devices, its interface is very favorable to work because it provides very complete functions, is effective and allows you to perform tasks centrally and quickly, Liquidplanner I can say that its effectiveness makes it a software quite distinctive among all its competitors.
Working with multiple projects simultaneously is a task that becomes very challenging, because the software becomes unstable to work with and often completely valuable information is lost, the software has a small learning curve, because your system has some points that are complex to work with if you do not have a good knowledge of its operation.
Liquidplanner is a platform that has given us control of all our projects, allows us to work with extensive planning, evaluate all our resources and implement solutions to each of our shortcomings for greater business operations, I have to mention that the Liquidplanner system provides such clear data allows us to manage better decisions in each situation for better results.

So far it's good while using this great product, i can't complain of anything.
With it i am able to track and manage projects and tasks in an easy way.
It can handle large scale companies with thousands of tasks and projects. I've been using it for 3+ years and it's been able to handle a lot.
If you are working on different tabs you have to be constantly refreshing the page to see your timer updated if you changed it from other tab. It would also be useful to have a robust export functionality for tasks and projects.
Task and timers management is done with LiquidPlanner. You are able to upload documents, make checklists, share with other members of the team, send comments, add notes, link other tasks and project, organize in packages, set deadlines, view resources being used and many other features that I don't actively use.
I love that I can put in my working hours, and see exactly when I should finish each of my tasks. The organization is really great, and it makes it really easy to use.
It isn't always super accurate, I don't like that it shows each task being completed all at once, you can't really spread out the work for one task without making multiple tasks and still have your data be accurate.
I am better able to keep track of my team's progress on projects.
facilities to mark as done on Android app.
Dont do comments on app by Android platform
Agility to mark hours
I just enter my worked hours directly on Liquidplanner for my employer. No need to write it down and give to my boss after. Makes it easy for everyone.
The app is not user friendly, so I use the browser version on my Phone.
I can log my worked hours on the road and my employer gets an estimate of remaining hours left to do.
It has the support of configuration establishment of sequential progress more effective software of liquidplanner, being a manager of automation of interpretative services of accomplishment of formations of content and information of route channels of reach of goals, having the possibility of fast handling of the options integrated to the corporate mail, achieving to have an order of measurable relation, in which the disposition of regulation of action of activities and plans, turns every plan into success.

I enjoy using the timer tool the best to track the time I spend on tasks
Sometimes it is difficult to read through many projects
I manage projects and tasks that I work on
LiquidPlanner is simple to use and features a comprehensive API to allow us to integrate with other tools.
Their User Interface can be slow sometimes.
LiquidPlanner is helping us to detect resource bottlenecks before they happen. Managers can easily check progress and intervene earlier than before.
Resource capacity planning, the fact that you can see weekly tasks assigned to your resources, prioritization, load
not very good with grant charts views, estimate vs actual reports
better understanding of impact on overall projects when something is different than estimated; the way you can prioritize tasks, the way you can see your resources assignments
The ability to classify tasks in multiple ways to track activities.
Sometimes reporting is a bit unclear in selecting some data fields.
The ability to project required time needed for future projects base in the past.
Real time workload for the team and being able to see the entire portfolio and priorities of the work
That you can't resource plan without multiple windows being open.
Analytics and managers being able to see all aspects.
Easy to communicate with teammates through the notes and tagging.
Would like a to do list on the homepage.
Helping with Project planning and making sure all teammates have access to assets they need to complete tasks
Time management - it's very simple to add time and export the data
Design - its robust which also means a bit difficult to use
Task management - I can very easily keep track of my work
The fact that the tool doest not permit staff overload (compared to most of scheduling tools) 1) The ease of defining a Work Breakdown Structure 2) Ease of defining custom fields 3) Filtering facilities 4) User interface 5) on-line help
Not too much possibilities for access restriction (e.g. I would like to permit some users to access some projects in "Read Only" mode
Scheduling, Daily work organization, Reporting via dashboards or analytics The tool helps me to be more productive
Smart system. Everything has been carefully thought through so there has never been a need that didn't have a solution. Customer support is fantastic. After years of use, they still stick with us when we have new staff or old questions. The support isn't just how to use the tool but how to properly manage projects with the tool. We've learned as much about project management as we have regarding how to use their software.
Not so much as a dislike as the unfortunate reality of the situation. There is a learning curve on how to properly develop a project management process. And, understandably, there is a learning curve to their software. Some concepts are counter-intuitive and we needed to rethink how we approached our projects. But while that was difficult, it was (and continues to be) a positive for the team.
We have a clear SOP around contract execution that is followed by the full team because we've embedded this system in LP. We know our capacity, workload, and how we're performing against budgets in near real-time. I have clear company KPIs and am able to track productivity and overhead easily.
