The flexibility to "play" on the whiteboard. Organizing all ideas - just start collecting inputs and informations - then finding the workflow to get results. All information on one well organized (by me :-)) board. It is so easy using the frames to organize in the second step. My first steps in the online training!

Some untypical behavior of the software. I.e. "Add tag": I need to position the cursor first before entering the tag name. I would request to "Add tag" and directly start writing. Sometimes I am losing the boards for a short time. After some seconds, it's all ok by starting the software new. I am using the Windows 10 App. Sometimes I need to log in using the browser to get the data. This time "between" makes me very nervous - losing all my data, losing all my work

I am working as Product Owner in large and complex software projects. I can manage my personal overview and share this with colleagues. Help them to understand. Personal Kanban - very powerful. It is easy to find the information (on my borads) I am searching for. I can use my boards as presentations without a lot of extra work. I love the drawings possibilities creating data workflows and more.

Miro has helped my startup to collaborate all the information within the team. Showcase all the info in one place as well as edit them live. For people joining my team, i need not start from the beginning because the information is already out there. For documenting the whole journey of our company since the beginning, miro has become indispensable and highly recommended for all teams who would love to document and collaborate seamlessly.

Nothing much! its a great tool. There are sometime this reloading time that it takes, and it takes time to get updates. Sometimes previous data gets lost.

The pandemic shows that we can keep work together from Miro

I can use Miro for mind mapping, brain dumps, wireframing, brand strategy session, client discovery sessions. it is so flexible and collaborative the use cases seem pretty endless. Recently I've been mapping screens out for my new website as it has been so rapid to try out Ideas. I have also used the mindmapping tools to develop my data mapping for the website across platforms. My key usage is for brain dumps, its just so quick to get ideas down in an app that is then available on any of my devices. Speed, Collaboration, Client inclusion, Sales.

I have no issues with Miro at all. Their tool is flexible, always available, quick to load. Until recnetly Miro had an affiliate program, this has now ended which is a shame. I think this should be replaced so that users like myself can directly recommend Miro.

I run discovery sessions with clients, brand strategy sessions with clients, and Miro allows me to guide the conversations but is flexible enough to pivot the conversation in any direction. It has never left me needing more. One of the key benefits is speed of use, I only have a short period of time with clients so have to capture what the client is telling me rapidly. Miro makes this easy. I can add new frames to capture subjects and it takes no time at all to tidy up following the session to allow me to play the session back to the client. Increased collaboration with clients sets me apart from my competitors and Miro enables me to achieve this. It also enables me to ensure that my clients feel listened to.

Miro has allowed me to design engaging boards in which students can collaborate with each other and have significant learning experiences.

Although Miro is a very powerful tool, it does need time for new users to adjust to all functions it provides.

I started using Miro at the beginning of the pandemic, when schools in my home country began teaching remotely. It allowed me to create spaces where students could have active learning experiences. I love the different tools it provides since it's not just post it's and notes. You can actually design different brands to adapt students needs.

Ease of navigation, I initially really missed having a whiteboard to facilitate a discussion, but Miro was able to take its place quickly.

With so many features, it takes time to learn enough to tap into its capabilities fully.

Using extensively for collaboration in a remote team, real-time collaboration & information sharing.

The best thing about Miro is its online interface where the project team and clients, no matter where they are in the world, can all log into the same presentation board and be part of the collaboration. Having everything on the same screen makes the presentation flow easier. Moving around the board is definitely easier than having to open multiple PDF files and having to toggle between them. It just makes the interaction with clients more professional.

I dislike how everything appears low resolution and only gets to the higher resolution of the file by constantly zooming in and allowing the software to clear up and get a sharp image to the uploaded information. It disrupts the flow of the meeting everytime a zoom like this needs to occur. I've noticed zooming in beyond 150% is necessary, along with panning around all the different files that have been uploaded to get them to also clear up.

As mentioned prior on what I like best, being isolated from my colleagues due to the pandemic, we all had to take on a remote approach to our design collaboration and get creative on how to present our projects to clients. Miro has solved the problem of distance and has allowed the whole team to be in the same space, making/marking up right on the screen in a live sense. The benefits of immediate feedback have simplified the process in my day.

You can keep your tasks in context next to ideas, documents etc - all in one place.

It can get messy if you're not disciplined

I've run interactive workshops; I've used it as a place to gather my thoughts and ideas; I've used it as a task tracker.

The opportunity to create things in a team and can share my opinion with a lot a of facility because it has all the tools that I need for express my opinion. Also, it has a very beautiful interface so kind of friendly to interact with it.

It's a bit challenging to build wireframes. I also work with whimsical because for me its more easy to build wireframes. I think that it has more option that can help build an interface. Also, I would be awesome to automate some reminders inside the app, like notifications in an exactly hour because I would like to track projects in real time.

Build digital workshops where all the people can participate and draw their opinion. One of the benefits is that you have all the tools in one place.

As a designer, I value Miro's visual format as it makes a great collaboration tool for my design team. I also like the templates provided.

We are solving the problem of visual collaboration with the extended product team.

It is excellent for communicating ideas instantly with teams. I really like the fact that you can feel like you're meeting in a physical place some sort of like a "studio or a workshop" where you can fill it with all kinds of information and ideas to mess around with. You can organize better and also make important decisions using Miro, something that is almost impossible during the pandemic. It has been a great tool to stay in touch with. I've also been able to present ideas not only to my team, which is actually an easier task since we all know each other, but also to clients whom would like to see their ideas take place in real life with us and they not only love it but have an easier time understanding. Also the tools for "chatting" and "commenting" are brilliant. You can have a long conversation about different topics just using those items.

Primarily, I thing it's costly and I would like to afford the paid version for my studio. Maybe think about promotions or look into the customers profiles for creating attractive offers for them. Just a thought. Secondly, I'd prefer more tools for editing and designing ideas and images since I base my work on that. For example making black and white images, having a better control of the vectors of shapes and lines! Maybe even more shapes to play around with as well. I'd also like to intergrate other fonts to the system, fonts that me and my team use on a redular basis for presenting projects. And regarding text, it would also be nice to intergrate a spelling check to Miro. That would help a lot sometimes.

It has helped me solve the problem of having an off-site architecture and design studio and classroom. Since the pandemic, we have been obligated to stay at home and with this tool we can easily manage the studio in pijamas! I also lead an architecture workshop at the university and it has been a great support for sharing with the students. I've shared this tool with everyone I know.

Working from home we need to brainstorm ideas, flesh out plans for events, projects and programmes. Having started on Miro we find we are much more productive than we are in the office working on a real whiteboard. Often our productivity is 100% greater. We have been so keen with Miro that we have introduced it to many colleagues from other organisations, and often use it as our presentation tool for management meetings or external meetings.

I haven't found something that I dislike about it.

It helps me ease my workflow as a Product Designer from discovery to define. I add in there brainstorm notes, research tables, personal templates, wireframes and many others.

The fact that you can see all participants work, guided a little timer and music, and with easy switching between boards. It enables collaboration between all diverse team-members.

its a very dynamic and creative canvas you can utilize for practicaly anything. there is a huge plethora of templates and examples that makes it very easy to use. its clear Miro are customer focused from their releases of new and relevant features.

mobile app can be a bit clunky on realy heavy boards but its rather rair. licence and viewers is a bit cumbersome.

we are using it for Product research and brainstorming mainly. in addition, WFH became that much simpler when everyone can work on the same board simultaniusly.

You can create infinite layouts and use for infinite proposes, its a highly collaborative tool, you can use it with the entire team and everyone can build together. They update the product a lot, so there are always new things to learn, to see and to use. It's super visual, and Miro has a nice flexibility that allows us to create, think and present information in the same place.

There is nothing that I dislike in Miro, but the main menu is a little bit confusing if you are in one or more team and in the free plan.

Centralizing information, easy access for the entire team, tons of layouts pre-made. It's easy to invite people to join (you can even create a link to people to access), it's easy to start creating.

The ease of use is the first thing to underline. Templates are various and valuable in everyday work.

The video chat is interesting, but it's hard to use it when you don't focus on the Miro board. If you have to share other stuff outside the board like other programs, it becomes tricky.

The research part had a significant boost since the collaboration features allowed us to work together simultaneously on the project. The ease of use also allows people with less experience in those kinds of applications to become operative in no time.

Collaboration is easily the best capability of the tool - being able to share this as a presentation and then using it as a workshop medium has changed the way that I work with my clients. I introduced the tool to my client project after we had started remote working during the pandemic, and it changed the client's insistence on coming back to the office. Because we were able to do the previously in-person whiteboarding and discussion through Miro and over Zoom, the client's leadership felt as though there wasn't as much of a reason to return to the office immediately.

I don't love the mouse options. I find that the mouse and trackpad options are valuable in different situations, and I wish that there was a better all-around use of navigating around on a board. I also don't love the relative sense of sizing on the board. I'll make a board that looks like it is the right size, but then realize that I'd made all my items extremely large because of the starting position of the camera on the board.

In a fully remote working environment, Miro is changing the way more traditional clients are viewing their working setups. As mentioned, I was able to bring Miro to a client, and after realizing its capabilities, their employees said that they were more likely to want to continue working from home even after the pandemic was over. I've also enjoyed the collaborative aspects of the tool. As a product owner, I created a custom scrum board that my scrum master and developers all could use and make edits. We've also used the tool for workshops to measure employee sentiment.

Miro is an incredible tool for planning projects and collaborating as a team, especially while we're all working remotely. But safe to say, we'll be keeping Miro beyond our return to the studio as we've found its features so easy to use.

The only downside to using Miro is it leaves us with a challenge of how we'll return to in-person planning and workshop facilitation! Having everything on screen for all to see that doesn't involve writing up notes and sharing photos has been a blessing.

We've found it quick and easy to create plans, workflows, and basic schematic diagrams that need to show a direction of travel or demonstrate a process. We've used it with clients to plan websites, capture personas, and map out functionality which has been super quick and easy for everyone on our team to use.

Miro has the flexibility of a real whiteboard, yet better. The ever-growing toolkit contemplates almost every aspect of running a creative session, workshop or training. Their also fast-growing library of templates provides great examples and ideas to improve the sessions constantly or create an activity in no time.

Though it’s very easy to use, some of the tools and gestures don’t follow the same logic of MacOS or applications like PowerPoint or Keynote. This requires some adaptation. And Miro’s logic is not always the one that makes more sense. Also the choice of fonts is very basic.

In a world where remote work and interaction have become a necessity, Miro has helped to reduce Zoom fatigue and engage people as much as in person, with some benefits of doing it online, like anonymous participation (some people find this less distressing) or keeping a digital record of any session.

How easy it is to use and the new features they release are clearly oriented towards remote team meetings and improving collaboration across teams.

Being a designer, it takes me a bit to get used to different tools, but you really don't need the whole of Figma onto a Miro board.

Brainstormings are easier. Team meetings, icebreakers, games. All interactions within a team are easier.

Miro is helping with our systems pathways and allowing for easy feedback on iterations. It's also a one-stop-shop for anyone to see what is happening in a project.

At first glance, Miro is an amazing concept. A virtual whiteboard that allows multiple parties to interact and collaborate. But it can be so much more than that. We realized that an infinite whiteboard could be organized like "Disneyland". With different areas of the board meant specifically for different things. All of them exciting and colorful. In essence, we created a cultural hub for our business. Miro is a creativity accelerator. That's what I like best.

If you have the paid version you get access to additional capabilities, but then you have to pay to invite clients to your boards.

We run various workshops including culture and strategy with our clients if we can't meet in person. Internally we use it as a hub of information and culture and place to interact and share ideas.
