Passpack is a zero-knowledge, cloud-based password and credential manager built for teams and businesses to securely store, share, organize, and audit credentials, secrets, login records, PINs, and notes. It emphasizes client-side encryption (packing key never leaves the device), collaborative sharing and role-based access control, SSO and directory integrations, hardware MFA support, comprehensive activity reporting, and compliance readiness (SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA).
Passpack is also often used as Password Manager of choice in PostgreSQL and Apache Cassandra tech stacks.

It has all the features that I need in a password manager but at the best price that I could find. They recently made a major upgrade, which is always a positive. Organization and note tools are strong.
I haven't found anything to dislike as of yet.
The cost is very competitive. The performance is solid and reliable.
I run an accounting services business serving over fifty clients, and we must keep track of numerous passwords - not just ours but those of our clients. Given the nature of our work, access management and control of client information is critical to the integrity of our business. Passpack provides security and trust, enabling my staff to complete work securely and efficiently. Being able to segment my employees into specific Teams according to client responsibilities is a significant benefit. Customer support is super helpful.
The user interface takes some time, but we understand this is being actively improved.
Managing client passwords in a secure application and sharing within my team.
Passpack is very easy to use, to share passwords with teams, and years of experience have proven the application to be secure. Also, when a team member is terminated, a one step process terminates the member for access to the passwords.
Due to the level of security, it is a little tricky to add new users, but once you are set up, it is a breeze.
Securely and efficiently sharing passwords with teams.
Keeps company interest at extreme level of security
Can be difficult to user for a non-technical, first-time user.
Ensuring that certain sites and services are accessed by the correct person.
Passpack is used daily in my organisation. Servicing multiple clients each with encryption needs, we feel secure in using Passpack every day.
I have no complaints with this service. If I were to work for another organisation, Passpack is the one tool I would require to be on board.
Ever lost a password and had to go through the pesky process of resetting your password? Had a staff member leave and weren't sure what passwords they had access to? Or had all the log ins but not sure what site they belong to? Passpack takes care of all it. No longer do we have to remember complex series of passwords - just one password and one packing key.
For an online password management solution it is hard to beat passpack. It is super easy to use, easy to add notes, and easy to copy passwords without even having to view the password. We have a lot of very critical info in there and I feel safe and secure using it everyday
Not much to say here, we really like it. My biggest complaint would be the mobile aspect of it, its a bit cumbersome, and might be better in an app format. Lots of pinching to zoom overall. But i rarely use it on my phone
Having an easily accessible password solution online in the cloud. We had been using some inferior software that we had to run locally on our server, then VPN to it if we were remote, it was slow clunky & you could only update the DB from the PC app and read only on osx.
I like the security features that Passpack offers. I feel the passwords are very well protected. Also the secure button that allows for one click login is very handy. Passpack loads fast and has an excellent search function.
The sharing feature and the ownership feature can be a bit buggy sometimes. I often have to save a password multiple times to get the settings right. I would also prefer that more search results be on one page, but that is a minor annoyance.
We are solving a password storage problem in which many people need access to the same passwords and not all individuals need access to the same passwords. Passpack allows our team to create custom access levels and provides a secure method for storing a large amount of passwords.
I'm confident passwords are kept private and secure. It's also really easy to share passwords with coworkers. And, the 1 click login is a major time saver.
There is very little that I dislike. It's sometimes a pain to have to enter the Packing Key, but I know that this feature is actually very useful in that it provides another level of security.
Trusted sharing of passwords with a large team.
