Clear interface, good and quick customer service, intuitive design.
It can sometimes be on the slower side, but this only happens sporadically.
We previously had a wordpress website with too many menu's and subcategories that wasn't easy to use for everyone in our company, now everyone is able to edit small changes and look at draft posts without it being too complicated. They way the websites are seperated by language in the backoffice is also pleasant. (We have a website that's both English and Dutch.)
It is very easy to work with and has great UX design.
Nothing particularry bad but things could improve always for the better. The search could be improved to suggest what you were searching for rather than relly on exact match.
Easy content managing for the websites, saves time as editing is seamless.
The easy UX. It is really easy to go and create or edit anything.
Sorting out the documents. It is hard when you have a list with 800 documents for example to sort the in the order you'd like.
Makes it easy to own the content on the website.
Slices, I think this feature of slices is very adaptable and customisable. Boost the editorial as well as developers' experience
Few points: 1. Validations are not present within CMS, so developers need to have lots of additional checks while building websites or apps. 2. Custom plugins, I would love Prismic more, if they allow me to build custom plugins which can be used within CMS
We wanted to have a quick to build and manage CMS for our newsletters and Prismic meets all our requirements
Their interface is super easy. Managing content has never been easier! They offer a generous free tier. As a developer I really love their "slice machine". It's very powerful and adds value to my developer workflow.
While you have plenty of field options to choose from when creating content, some more advanced field options like a dropdown with separate display value vs. code value could help create better code.
Providing an easy way to add content or keep content updated is very easy. Because this is a headless CMS you can use it on any channel you like, be it web, mobile or something else...
Fast learning curve for Content managers as well as developers. Very easy to integrate into various tech stacks. Most affordable Headless CMS out there.
It should be easier to contact customer support. More integrations of third-party providers and faster bug fixes.
Content managment
We use Prismic as a headless CMS, connecting to a Java-based application. The API supports all our use cases, and works pretty well. The user interface serves our needs to create content.
The Java SDK hasn't seen an update in quite a while. Bulk editing would be a nice feature to have.
We use Prismic to create and maintain content about our training compendium.
Prismic is easy to use and easy to integrate.
There's nothing I dislike about prismic.
It's used for our website creation and hosting.
Prismic is great for creating an online learning environment becuase of the various opportunities to create unique, easy to use, relvant resources available to our online learning team.
Prismic tends to be more appropriate for tech-savvy users, as some of our desginers have trouble navigating the tools that the platform offers.
Our business exists to help classroom teachers educate their students, but the tools that we offer have to be fully understood in order to be successful. Prismic provides a place for us to create a headless CMS that is used in training teachers and educating users.
I like that Prismic is overall pretty intuitive and easy to learn.
There are some limitations in features, but ways to work around that.
Prismic helps to standardize our page layouts across many sites that we own, while still allowing for customizations.
Prismic is a perfect tool as a background for your webshop. With possibilities to add new options.
Unfortunately, the preview function is not working properly and there are ways to make scheduling even faster.
Back of the webshop, for scheduling the information the customer sees.
The platform is easy to use and build upon. It functions as a robust platform for all things content and editorial.
There is a bit of dev work needed to make front-end changes, which can be limiting for small teams balancing other priorities.
It has been an easily implemented product that helps us to tell our brand's story better. It has been a great solution for our content and organic media teams.
Makes it easy to update content without developers
Not always easy to tell when there are errors
Ability to make constant updates without dev suport
As I am only an executive, I wasn't involved into the desicion phase. However, I can say this tool's handling is good as you can for example imeplent it into exsiting systems and has a lot of features. Whenever we find hickups, the customer support is there to help.
It takes a minute to get into the tool. Once you got where everything is, it's a great content management tool.
we manage our website on prismic.
Prismic is an easy to use CMS tool to maintain a multi locale set-up. The option to duplicate elements in different locales saves us time reflecting in to be more efficient time-wise.
Currently there is no option to create multiple workspaces for different projects within an repository. This would be helpful to streamline processes and give acces rights to specific users to reduce confusion.
Prismic is busy with a solution to create multiple workspaces. Creating multiple workspaces would make the onboarding easier, as it will allow us to focus on relevant types and streamline the process, reducing confusion and questions.
As a marketeer I'm using prismic.io to make, publish and edit content on our website, and it is easy to learn and great to use. There are so many options and possibilities to adjust content exactly in the way that is best for your website.
Nothing actually, I just would like for there to be a way to size down pictures inside of prismic. Now I have to use other external tools to get images not to load for ages on our site.
With the use of prismic we're able to publish content on our site the way we want and have endless possibilities to add and change whatever we want our users to see. It's easy for me to understand and use the application.
- Flexibility (Slices). Works like the front-end code is usually written now (components) - Great way to work with content types - Great community (and staffs answering on GH / prismic community)
- No required fields - Hard to reuse data - No ability to create a table - Hard to query easily without using the client - The search in the admin is hard to work with
- Extracting the content of my application on a third party -> For runtime (articles) -> For build time (fetching the header / footer and built as JSON)
The Experience you get on adding the content in the cloud, Integrating with gatsby or react made very easy, from the content type definition to the development experience.
some projects do not need to be designed and built from scratch, and more demo and pre-built themes will save time. the number of samples of pre-built themes is not enough and if must be more, the work can be easier. The problem with SASS products is you have to depend on them if u want to check how the underlying infrastructure is configured means u cant do that
Managing the entire content for the site in the cloud and making it easy the stakeholders and marketing team to update whenever necessary. Localization support make muti language site contents easy
If implementation time and ease of use is of importance to you, definitely consider Prismic.
Because of its simplicity you may sometimes find it lacking of some more advanced features.
We used prismic for our job postings and our company blog to easily add content without having to redeploy.
Prismic is easy to use and to pick up from haven't used the platform before. Very hulpeful that is has multiple repositaries so can segment our brands efficiently.
This may be due to the implimentation and set up of our own digital agency but it can sometimes be quite limited to what you can do as you have minimal control over content block details etc
It helps to manage the front end of our websites across our 5 brands.
