Content updates go live very quickly. Love the ability to send a preview link to a non-Primic user. We integrated prismic into our team and workflows without a hitch. I use it multiple times every day and the simplicity impresses me each time. I've not needed to use their customer support because all of the featured supplied have done the job!
A more visual CMS would be useful, but not crucial!
Speed of content updates. Approval processes. Experimenting with web content.
I use Prismic every day for my work. Very easy to use from a non-development perspective & a user-friendly interface.
Prismic is missing certain features: image captions & linking to in-page anchors. Sometimes anchors do not function well.
Prismic is ideal for managing hundreds of content assets for our team. It makes cross-team collaboration easier.
What i like most is the aproch to data and the idea behind slicemachine. Is really easy to use and to implement in your workflow. The Customer support is fast and helps you out even with beta feature.
I hope in the near future the will better suport the content relationship without the need to query multiple times object that are already related.
Fast prototiping and POC
Ease of natigation, and easy to build different pages
Someones if you have a lot of pages it can be hard to find the correct one
Speed of our website
It is easy to implement in every project.
Cms's ui is a little old fashion. if they update it,so cms look like modern generation
Main benefit is the client can easily understand how to work with prismic.
The CMS interface is very user friendly. It's also an incredibly versatile tool: our team of developpers have been able to shape our business Prismic account in a way that enables us to create and publish a very complex set of products. It feels like the possibilities are endless. We use Prismic on a daily basis.
There are still a few efficiencies that we have brought up with the Prismic team and would make the Content managers' lives easier. Prismic have been very attentive to our requests, and have taken our feedback into account.
Prismic enables us to build and maintain complex user journeys on our Ecommerce website. We have all the products we sell in one place and the entire website content is therefore easy for the Content Managers to curate.
- They have put serious time into evolving their product and listening to users, they provide a nice roadmap and are always on the lookout for feedback - Utility functions for frameworks are handy such as the PrismicRichText and Image - Good coverage for different frameworks and clear where to navigate inside the documentation so convenient to integrate. I appreciate the examples provided. - Image processing with Imgix - Slice machine is a massive boon
- They have changed the pricing model quite drastically recently with the locales, unclear how that might impact current users - Cannot bulk delete images (I believe they are working on this)
Providing a CMS that I can use with React or Vue to create static sites for clients. Multi-locale support was an important factor too.
The versatility it offers us to handle content when creating digital products.
The current migration from an existing CMS can be challenging.
Cutting edge implementation of headless CMS architecture.
The simplicity and streightforwardness is the reason I stick with Prismic.
It is missing field validation (required fields) and not Zapier integration
I am running my entire webside backend off Prismic
Being able to easily manage content for my company's website
Some features still need to be improved.
We have the website in 4 different languages and thanks to prismic we are able to manage the content in all 4 languages, as well as copy all the content from one language to the other and keeping the same structure.
