The best thing that I have discovered about OpenPhone is that you can monitor and record all the conversations from each employee! We utilize these features to make sure that the correct information was given to the client and to protect ourselves. We also use the analytics feature to monitor if our employees are actually doing their job!

I have not found a downslide as of yet!!

OpenPhone has solved the issue we had with employees stating they made calls and sent texts when they actually didn't.

I'm using OpenPhone to keep my US cell phone number while I'm on an expat assignment in Japan for 2-3 years. The porting process was fairly easy and only took a few days to complete. I receive phone calls and texts on the OpenPhone app and have it setup to notify me on my iPhone. As a result, I've been able to stay in touch with family and friends in the US quite easily.

I don't like that not all multi-factor authentication via text works with OpenPhone. It hasn't been too much of an issue for me, as most of those entities that don't allow it for VOIP services have another way to authenticate (such as via email), but it would be great if OpenPhone could find a way to address this as well.

One of the services couldn't accept my phone number for any reason. Price can be cheaper.

At the moment I don't see any problems. I'm fairly new and I've been asking questions on how the features work and they are very helpful.

OpenPhone offers similar features like most VOiP services but they always upgrades to best suit what is best for their customers at a reasonable prices.

Perhaps a support service that allow clients to call them directly for questions instead of just a by email support service. Or maybe a dedicated account manager where existing clients can air out their more urgent concerns.

I'm overseas so having a virtual US phone number enables me easy access to my US clients at economical rates.

The best part of using Oprnphone is definitely their UI, both in the mobile and web versions. We can navigate through the past calls and conversations with ease.

There is nothing i Dislike about the application till now, it was and is very seamless for a person to use. I haven't faced any issues till now. both the technical and non-technical staff of our company are using open phone without any complaint

Well, Our company operates on shore(US) and off shore(INDIA), at times it was difficult for us to contact US colleagues with heavy rates for calling and also for testing a few applications. we got that problem solved using openphone

You can carry your phone number anywhere. It uses the internet to receive calls and it uses its app on your cellphone. Also allows you to have many phone numbers inside the app

Some Account verifications will not work such as text messages. You will need to get the phone call directly, but just for the cases that the verification allows you to.

OpenPhone will allow you to carry your phone number to any place in the world, without using the traditional phone companies.

I like the flexibility. Their desktop and mobile app allow me to use the service that best suit my comfort zone. I also love the customer service. I've reached out to them twice and each time, they have been responsive and resolved my issues. And they follow-up to make sure I'm taken care of!

Currently, there is nothing I dislike. Open Phone serves my communication needs well.

It seemed like my other provider was on automation. I was using another phone number for local calls, but I wasn’t getting calls or notifications of calls. I had several potential clients tell me that called and there was no record. I also did not want to pay the price of a kidney for phone service, but I also did not want to sacrifice quality. Open Phone solved those problems.

They dont have a proper window's app that's my only concern. As a user I need to login openphone to my laptop for my business but the app is a webbase app and I need it on my desktop

That the voice calls are too clear, and also too crisp and I'm sensitive to it. J/K. I had to work around and get creative with adding multiple business workspaces. I ported in 3 numbers and had to finagle with not being able to create to multiple business entities under one account. So I resolved my issue by creating separate Caller ID names for each number and separating it that way. So same workspace, but multiple numbers with it's own Caller Id name.

Price, functions and features. I was having issues with Freedom Voice, the price was cheap but you get what you pay for. I had issues where Tmobile callers were getting disconnected tones when calling into my number including my clients numbers. 800.com, I had issues with not being able to receive calls because the app went down. Sypport was not able to resolve my issue but blame it on my device and or hardware. Nextiva, is not user friendly at all. I need to hire an IT department to configure the system, not user friendly.

Openphone is very easy to use, not glitchy and they provide excellent customer service.

I like the option to record conversations on my phone. I have calls where I have to come back to the information that was discussed and knowing that I can so easily record it is just amazing!

OpenPhone is hands down my favorite second phone line app. I use it for my business phone numbers. The UI/UX is great and everything functions perfectly. Definitely recommend.

It would be great if it could be used to receive auth codes but that's more of an issue with almost all apps like this. Nothing I actually dislike.
