"Marginal Experience with Nextiva"
What do you like best about Nextiva?

The concept of the phone system is great. There are a lot of built-in features to customize the phone system best for our operations. Love the call center feature!

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The overall reliability in the service can use some major improvements. The Nextiva App never works properly and this is after countless troubleshooting efforts. The phone systems in the office go down a lot without explanation and I have to spend countless hours on the phone trying to get this resolved.

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am getting a better experience from our customers calling in. Instead of just putting them on hold we are able to put them into a call center where they can listen to hold music until an agent pics up.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

In previous experiences setting up new phone lines, it was such a long drawn out process that took up a nice chunk of our day. When Anthony was assisting, it was very quick and worked right away.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

I do not have any complaints for this setup. It was done fast and effiently.

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are now able to answer more phone calls in the practice, which is leading to less missed call and less voicemails, which is improving patient care.

I enjoyed talking to the support person. He was good at filling the gaps in support action with nice conversation.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

My hearing is not the best, so I struggled with the european accent.

Phone hardware is pretty nice. Support is responsive.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

Customer Service is awesome; they really take care of their clients. I am new to the Company and have official training later on today; however, am optimistic that it will be a smooth transition.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The app doesn't work as well as I would like. We have had continuous problems with the app for our teleworking staff. Our issues have been escalated and still no resolution. The best they can come up with is that Nextiva does not work with a Verizon router. This is a problem since 2 of our offices have Verizon fios.

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

It appears to be easy to add additional lines, if necessary. Changing items on the website does not always work as it should.

When I called in, Nextiva solved the issue, so I did not need anything else from the very professional representative.

I had to call in numerous times to get this issue resolved.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

The availability of the app is great! Unity for the office, and the Mobile App when remote.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

It drops calls ALL the time. It's a regular thing when someone transfers to my phone; the app drops the calls. I'm scrambling to email clients to call my phone directly.

Desk phones at the office and remote applications for primary communication.

It allows me to work from home a lot easier. It came in clutch during the stay at home order.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The cell phone app is extremely glitchy. I would prefer to use that because a phone is a phone, but it only works half the time

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Like a lot of businesses we needed a solution for office very quickly in the face of COVID-19 and Nextiva was able to get us going quickly.

The contact system allows reasonably fast info lookups for team members such as their extension or email.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

Very few. Recently, our team members have begun using Microsoft Teams for their own purposes and only retaining Nextica because it is attached to our work phone numbers.

Sales representatives are always great. When I need a phone to be added the sales rep is always helpful.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

Long wait times to speak with a tech who is hard to understand, rude, and seems to always talk over you when you are speaking.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

Phones are pretty easy to operate. I like the online system as well.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

Customer service is not always very helpful, they say they have fixed the issue and majority of the time they just have scratched the surface.

The fix general problems, like when our phones wont work correctly.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

The setup of the account was very simple and easy to manage. It is easy to add new users and change settings as needed. The support on the virtual chat is also helpful.

What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The company locked us into a three-year extension at the end of our contract even though we had verbal discussions with our rep that we would need to move to another platform due to a merger.

What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

It provides basic phone service for about 13 locations that met our needs when we installed it. It is a reasonably inexpensive solution and provides interconnectivity between the sites.

Nextiva provides us with phones to use to communicate with our patients.

Nextiva drops calls way too much. There are too many errors within the system.

We are helping most of our patients when we are able to recieve the voice mails and not have the calls drop.
