Glad to be rid of a phone bill and use internet phones.
had to trouble shoot a few times to get phones working but the customer service was helpful each time I contacted them
Able to get calls remotely when out of my office. Very helpful for my catering business.
The admin plafform is easy to manager our staff extenions, and replace different greeting when it is needed. The online customer support chat is great. They are very helpful when we needed an assistant.
When we called the customer support line, the waitting time is too long.
For our staff can have their direct line and text message funcation is benefiting us.
We really value the ease of use and flexibility of the service suite Nextiva offers. We started with them small and it worked for us and we've been able to find the right add-ons from them that have enabled us to continue using them. It's been great to sort of take for granted that this aspect of the business is squared away.
Mobile app can be a little intimidating as far as what's showing up on the customer's end and whether you're actually 'logged in' if the app isn't up and open on your phone/device. But you quickly learn to trust it.
Flexibility - Nextiva enables us to have local #s where our employees and customers are located. There's a psychological component to this for our clients. We're local to their market physically - having a local # facilitates the 'local business/local relationship' vibe we try to bring our clients.
The support is excellent. They a re polite, patient and very helpful
the smartphone app has been a problem from day one. It likes to cut out audio on side even if I sitting in the office on wifi
Remote voip for any user
Business phone in your pocket. Simultaneous ringing of desk phone and mobile
Site Administration is clunky. Takes time to figure out user settings
Cheaper alternative to traditional phone providers. Seamless desktop app, mobile app and desk phone enables a hybrid work enivronment
easy to use app and website. user friendly
wish they can have an automated voice to say what we type. long wait time over the phone sometimes
having a voicemail
The user friendly customization software, to customize phone keys, call flows, etc.
Having to go through multiple layers of customer service to get issues resolved
Unifying all domestic offies through one phone system. Easily customizing call flows between offices.
We have used Nextiva for about two years and the biggest plus is easily transitioning from handset to desktop or mobile app. All work very seamlessly.
The hold time for customer service is very long
Being a mobile office
Nextiva allows you to move phones all around your office and as long as your near an ethernet port, the phone can just be plugged in and it will work just like it did at the other location. There is also a great computer app and phone app for access when you are not in the office or for remote employees. It has freed us up tremendously.
The only downside I would say is that if you want phone in a common space, you still need to pay for an additional user on the system, but I believe that this is standard with all IP Phone systems.
We have many remote users. Now anyone calling our office can dial the employee's extension and reach them no matter where they are. We have users with phones in their homes, using the computer app or using the phone app. It was a gamechanger for us.
Phone systems of any kind can be very confusing. Having multiple extensions and numbers makes it even worse. My Nextiva Support person, Alina, helped with all of my questions with competence and humor.
Too many features? Between the app and the normal admin login, I'm never sure where I'm supposed to be to make changes.
They are responsive and proactive about technical changes. The app is a great example.
Easy to manage and love the Nextiva App for my remote workers. My prior system required support for every change I wanted to make. What broke the camel's back was the need to upgrade my on prem servers to be compatible with new versions of software to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. Nextiva had no up front equipment cost and teh monthly fee was less than the maintenance cost I was paying. Support has been very good. My users required little or no training.
The only issue I had was with the Receptionist setup. It was difficult for Nextiva to program the Receptionist phone to have her own private direct line and a Main incoming line for the business. They got it worked out but it did take a while.
Cost is way down. I have no onsite equipment to maintain (other than the handsets).
I love being able to use Nextiva from any location. We also like the fact that we can have calls routed as needed. There are multiple features and the implementation and integration was easy.
The downside is that we have quite a few technical issues. Customer support resolves all issues quickly however, it is sometimes time consuming.
Netiva allows us to work anytime, anywhere.
Customer Support was very helpful and right on. They are very responsive.
Even though they have a lot of videos, it is still somewhat confusing, when you start from scratch.
Managing phone calls
I like that it's connected from my office to my home, so I don't have to be at the office to work if I don't want to.
I don't like that the app got changed. The other app was more user friendly than the new one.
I think Nextiva has tried to improve the app, and whenever I call or chat, customer service is usually pretty helpful.
The support staff are very friendly & want to help solve the problem. Great service! I didn't know how to fidn a certain reporting metric and Maryna S. was able to help me quickly and with easy to follow directions.
The reporting in the Supervisor's Dashboard isn't the most user-friendly.
I needed to find the call drop rate for each month in the Supervisor Dashboard Reporting. This is needed to create KPIs for my team. I was helped quickly and with easy to follow instructions using the chat feature.
Love the ability to text from my desktop and that it's connected to Clio. When I was setting up my account and porting over my number, the customer service was great and super helplful. They have continued to be very helpful. I also like that you can answer from both cell phone and desktop and it quickly connects. No issues with quality or the speed of answering, no dropped calls. I get calls on my phone everyday!
Some features are confusing, like setting up a new number. So I had to chat with customer service, they did end up helping me pretty easily. It is a bit hard to block numbers.
As mentioned before, it helps me with getting calls, answering, and then will eventually be able to forward calls to my answering service.
Sunday support makes Nextiva extend out.
not much control of admin permissions when the system gets more complex.
Nextiva support team is on another level
Chat feature for any issues works so well !!
Can take a bit long on the phone if you need to call about an issue.
Better phone and voice quality
They embrace techology and have several modalities to address customer needs
Nothing so far. I thought things are ok.
Have a legitmate phone number to which I can conduct my business affairs.
I like that Nextiva always has real people to help with our problems and help find solutions.
I dislike that sometimes the computer quality of phone calls can be poor.
They are helping us solve problems of people working all around the world and helping us all communicate cohesively.
