I love this app. You can have an extra phone number on your device that you can use for business purposes without getting a second device. It works perfectly, and it has a very excellent User interface. It also has call recordings automatically, so you'll never miss a detail of a business conversation. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new business phone number.
The only thing I would add is a widget, and I'd add more features to the AI text-to-speech functionality to create a personalized voice message without sounding too robotic. Other than that, this app is perfect for my needs.
Well, I no longer need a second device. You have the benefit of having everything within the app.
Can distinguish from personal calls & business calls effortlessly versus google voice.
There's nothing I don't like right now. It's perfect.
Business phone solution and being able to relay to my team pertinent information on clients. Being able to move messages/calls to a done folder is something new I just discovered.
Very easy to install and setup. Clean way to review your calls and messages. By having an additional line, it is a good way for me to filter out calls and messages from my primary line. The UI/UX is very nice on all devices.
Some SMS 2FA websites do not support OpenPhone and iMessage doesn't let you add an OpenPhone number to your account.
I'm using OP to have a business presence through a phone line in different North American regions. It's also a good way to organize phone/message interactions with clients/teams.
Intuitive interface and has all the features we need. Coming from a big telco with a clunky VOIP service, OpenPhone is a breath of fresh air.
No complaints. We are delighted with OpenPhone.
Tracking calls and SMS clients.
They gave fast responses and clear directions, and most of all were able to port my US number for a reasonable fee so I can keep using my old number after moving to Canada
It took a while to get permission from my old carrier to port my number, so there was some back and forth, but this was not Open phone's fault and they were very helpful and clear throughout the process
I can still use my US number after moving to Canada and getting a new phone number
The UI is smooth and easy to use, calls are clear and everyone can always hear me
Nothing, everything is good as long as I've used it
Open phone makes sales calls to other countries a lot easier, and the platform allows for smooth use
Both Inbound/Outbound calls available! Non-U.S. bank card acceptable! Support very responsive!
If I have to say one, maybe that is I have not found a telephone number I like the most. But it doesn't matter! I will later transfer one from another carrier to my OpenPhone account.
An all-in-one U.S. phone number service with competitive pricing plan!
The user interface is intuitive & appealing. Each client’s thread combines calls, voicemails, & texts in one record of their communications. Call quality & reliability are indistinguishable from an office landline.
I haven’t discovered any downsides so far.
I disliked my last phone provider so much (poor quality, even worse quality on conference calls, dropped calls, limited features, buggy unresponsive interface) that I’d ask consulting clients to do video sessions like my therapy clients or settle for e-mail. Now I’m physically more relaxed & better able to take notes during long calls, less fatigued after work, and in more frequent contact with clients because managing our communications is so easy.
Great experience using the product and I love the customer service as well
I’m still a fairly new user but I like what I am seeing so far
Convenience and Usability
I like that I can send/receive SMS and MMS from my users
I ddon't think i have anything that i don't like about OpenPhone at the moment.
I'm note sure if this already is a thing as i haven't used the transfer call feature but I would like the ability to add a teammate to a call i'm currently on and then drop off the call once it's transferred.
I love being able to use OpenPhone on my laptop! Makes it easy to make phone calls there and copy and paste notes in text messages, etc.
The only glitches are being able to use the app to make phone calls (without headphones), the speakerphone mode has an echo on my iPhone 7 (but I haven't updated my iOS in awhile)
detailed texts messages to clients via laptop client of OpenPhone.
Openphone scales across multiple businesses and departments with a very easy-to-use mobile app. I own & manage 4 businesses including commercial real estate investing, a tech startup, and heavy equipment rental. I can quickly add users and delegate phone duties to them. OpenPhone is extremely cost effective considering the value that it creates. All call recordings and sms messages are included in that customer's thread for fast and easy review by managers, owners, and other staff. Openphone is extremely easy to use, even for non-techie people. You can easily know which phone number is ringing when the call comes in.
It probably has more to do with my local connection, but sometimes when I connect to a call from my laptop, I experience a little bit of breaking up; nothing worse than a standard AT&T connection.... You can only label phone numbers with an emoji. I need to label them with text. Overall, this is a minor inconvenience.
I need to easily manage multiple phone numbers from one mobile phone. Openphone has allowed me to quickly and easily complete my remote-management plan.
The quality of the product is great; the calls are clear and crisp, the desktop and mobile apps are fantastic and easy to use.
It could have more integrations, but I'm hopeful they'll be coming in time (it's still new after all).
We needed a reliable phone for our business, but we don't want to deal with a whole separate phone line or additional hardware. OpenPhone let myself and my business partner share a toll-free number with an easy to manage app, reliable services, and no problems at all.
OpenPhone is really easy to use and is a smooth software overall. What's more, is the support and integrations just make this software too good not to use! Integrate, OpenPhone with https://www.pickleai.com/ just opens a lot more and gives great insight.
Nothing, I've tried multiple features, etc., and was actually just using the free version, it's amazing.
Calling, tracking, recording, training, lead generation, customer success, website call-back, there are too many use cases.
You can use it everywhere. Web, mobile, desktop. It's so quick and easy to get it up and running too! Being able to restrict incoming calls to business hours removes the need for a second mobile phone or landline. You don't have to always be 'ON'!
Honestly, not much. Every time I find an issue with like "oh, it doesn't support sending photos," the developers at OpenPhone go and fix that issue.
OpenPhone gave me more uninterrupted time with my family. It prevented me from needing a second phone or sim card to run my business on the go. And now, with the latest updates, I can give my clients better support with automated SMS messaging, and auto-replies. OpenPhone has actually allowed me to spend less time on the actual phone. Those automations help me answer frequently asked questions without using any brainpower to do so.
