Love that we retained our phone number, and that porting it to Grasshopper from our prior provider was simple. Also, the online dashboard is intuitive, making it easy to set up. The ability to have individual voicemail boxes and extensions for multiple people was a bonus, and functionality our prior provider didn't have. Main thing I love though is voicemail as e-mail!
Honestly, at setup I got a little confused about different access levels, but that's been about it. But otherwise, it's been great.
My office went 100% remote. We had a phone system with a dozen handsets and a big base station. Stuff we'd had for years. Giving up the physical office space made all the land lines obsolete, and transitioning to Grasshopper, which my spouse's company had been using for some time, was the best solution for us. Also saved us about $100 a month because we dropped two lines, and services we'd been paying for a la carte are now bundled into Grasshopper.
Grasshopper’s app is used by our compnay all day, every day. Very easy to use for calls, fax, and tect.
Fees have gone up, but it neets all our needs.
Communication between clients, patients, and employees.
I appreciate the ease of use, automatic email alerts for missed calls and the quick-access app.
I truly wish the voice-to-text and sms messages were included as a bundle vs separate add-ons.
We have filtered our calls through the extensions, which saves at least 2-3 minutes per call, clarifying the core reason for the prospect, partner, or clients call. Streamlining our time saves money.
Grasshopper makes it easy to have multiple extensions with professional greetings, plus the ability to receive faxes and send texts. All from your regular phone.
I wish it were easier to change messages. It's not horribly difficult, but it could be quicker
Carrying only one phone, instead of two. Receiving faxes on my cell phone and multiple phone extensions to sort my calls
Calls come directly to my cell phone so I can take business calls no matter where I am at.
I'd like to see a better way to identify the incoming call without resorting to having the caller state their name. If I send the caller's caller ID info I don't know if it's coming from Grasshopper or a direct dial of my cell number. If I send the company's caller ID info I don't know who the caller is until I answer. Maybe have the calls ring and get answered in the Grasshopper app rather than my phone's dialer.
No more worries about hardware failure. Decreased monthly cost over having land lines.
The website is easy to navigate, and gives me all the information I need quickly.
I would like to be able to call on my cell phone and have our Grasshopper number show up on caller ID.
Being able to track missed calls and seeing all of our faxes - with one convenient number is really efficient.
Grasshopper has several features that I like: 1. Customizable greetings. You can record your own or have them recorded for you. 2. Incoming calls can either be rolled over to the next line if not answered or programed to ring all lines at once with one or two clicks. 3. Easy to program and set up. 4. Great customer service. Any time I've had any issues (rare), they address it or help me fix it immediately when I call.
Sometimes the cell phone app is a little slow to load initially (if you quit the app). Otherwise, it works pretty well and there's not much to dislike.
When we travel, we can forward it to someone else to answer calls while we're gone. We also have been able to email a voicemail to another person if they're better suited to handle the message. Voicemails are always emailed to you making this task very simple. You can also have your voice mail texted to you for a fee.
The ability to add multiple phone lines and schedules for each extension is great.
Occasionally calls drop...usually only if there are technical issues across all of Grasshopper, however.
1) Routing calls to multiple customer service extensions. 2) Tracking voicemails
Grasshopper is the product you need if your office is always on the go. The product allows you to create one central number with multiple extensions for your employees. This eliminate the need of having so many direct numbers for your clients to remember. In addition, Grasshopper allows virtual faxes. To receive a fax electronically via email simplify your paper, time, and office needs. There appear to be features scheduled to come soon for Grasshopper that can be exciting for small businesses.
There is not much to not like about grasshopper. However, these are minutes attached to each package you purchase. There may come a point when you require more minutes or less minutes. Voice mails are passed on via email. This may be a hassle when on the go and need a simple way of just one click feature for voicemail. The app can use a more simplified look and faster speeds when moving from task to task.
We are solving our virtual telephone needs using Grasshopper. As we a human services organization, we work in the field more than half the time traveling to our consumers. It is imperative to be able to have a central line for customers can call, receive information, and connect to employees anywhere on the go.
