The best things that i like about storyblok are like managing content, create componet and use inifinite times. design can be created within a time, quick publishing and unpublishing content.
I dont have dislke till now except, if we are creating the pages in a folder wise there we face issues like if the design needs to redo then we need to go every folder page and fix it but that can also be fixed using a multilanguage.
Content managing and creating component which makes design faster and and where non-technical people can create their own design. It has increasd 10x faster in development.
The most impressive feature Storyblok offers is their Visual Editor in combination with their Headless Architecture
There are some Svelte(KIT) issues but that could be due to Svelte(KIT) being a new kid on the block.
A way to easy reuse content and blocks and create component based layouts in a Headless Cloud CMS solution but also have a real-time visual editor available
Storyblok has a great UX, for content editors using the visual editor.
As far as I know, there is no possibility of writing the content schema as code.
Storyblok effortlessly decouples content and presentation, fostering collaboration and streamlining workflows for enhanced productivity.
It is very practical in use for marketeers and very developer friendly
That you need a multiple space setup for when you want a separate test/staging/production environment.
A seperate CMS for products which do not have a good composable CMS with preview.
For someone visual like me, the visual editor allows me to see the changes that I am making real-time, allowing me to adjust content, visuals, and components to align with exactly what I'm looking for on my pages.
Like any other solution, there does seem to be the occasional bug that does pop up. Super minor, but my links that were supposed to be opening in new tabs started opening in the same tab after an update. Good technical support when these things have happened.
When marketers and developers need to intimately work together for a site to be successful, Storyblok allows greater control for both to achieve their goals. Marketers get to create and craft the custom content and pages that their audience is looking for without the continual need for support. And developers can build scalable components and create lean site structures and enjoy incredibly fast and safe web structures.
Even though Storyblok is primarily a headless system, the in-site editing features are really great for editors and make a difference compared to other headless CMS. Developers love it, Editors love it.
For some cutomers with lots of editors, the pricing can be tough. For all others, it's a great fit.
Development with Storyblok is really fast, interfaces to other systems are easy to implement and also allow orchestration of different technologies from one spot.
Great ease of use, flexible and powerfull headless CMS. Contact with the company is friendly and swift.
Wish we learned about this CMS sooner. Ease of use and flexibility is much better then headless CMS we used before.
It is helping our clients to create content for thir headless websites/webshops. Because of the intuitive UI clients can work with Storyblok with limited to no training.
We initially tried it because the pricing is fantastic for small teams (with a generous free tier) and stayed because it wokrs like a charm, integrates perfectly with vue.js, has an image service built it and is lightning fast and provides a solid SEO base.
The only thing that would make it even better is a video hosting functionality that is as great as storybloks image hosting functionality. We use vimeo for videos which is great too.
We can create the design and layout for all our marketing pages exactly the way we want them to be. This we then hook up to storyblok where our blog content is written and stored. So even if we change our tech stack storyblok will still keep all our content and can be hooked up to the new tech stack again easily.
It is very easy to create blog posts on the website and create internal linking across the blog. Also crazy what in regards to page speed is possible. We always have a page speed of 100. That also helps with ranking on Google.
It is necessary to have a developer or good tech skills to set it up properly. For a marketing person like me, it is not possible to set storyblok up easily. Or I just did not find the solution.
Very easy handling for blog content and crazy page speeds on Google.
The flexibility, simplicity and generally how developer-friendly it is
Some components can be improved the fit the needs of a developer.
It solves the problem of a confusing and complex CMS. The benefit is that it's both developer and customer-friendly.
Storyblok is SaaS product that is what I love most about it, best content management tool, it can also improve productivity, as an API tester it's a great site for me.
Sometimes it lags otherwise it is a very good product.
It's helps us to manage the component content, to have great digital experiences
It's very easy to get started as the blok concept and stories as a concept are easy to grasp. From there it becomes very easy to work with any framework. The dashboard is also very intuitive.
It's a bummer that for a blog I can't easily create folders by date to eventually have a slug like blog/2022/03/29/using-storyblok but I'm just nitpicking. The documentation at times would always be a couple of features or changes behind so if you're not much of a tinkerer, you would miss out on some things.
It currently powers my portfolio. I'm also using it for an e-commerce product to handle consumer-facing documentation i.e. privacy policyy, FAQs etc. Image processing has also been a standout feature of all of this too.
Clear intuitive interface. Role management is flexible and powerful. GraphQL in v2 is a great PLUS.
Search results are not always relevant and backup of data is not exhaustive (datasources are not supported yet)
Allow multiple users to work seamlessly on the same data which saves us a lot of time and frustation!
I love how the tool enables me, as a marketer, to be completely autonomous. It's very flexible; it's straightforward to copy-paste one section from one page to another, and the tool is very scalable, so I could create many new landing pages easily on my own.
Honestly, I don't think I dislike anything about Storyblok, except perhaps one tiny thing: there doesn't seem to be a simple, effective undo button while editing a page (a Story). Sometimes CTRL-Z works for some text, but not if I make big changes like removing a component. This means I sometimes need to exit the page and lose all the changes I made before saving so I can revert and start over. Perhaps this feature already exists, and I'm unaware of it, but it doesn't seem so.
Storyblok solves the problem of allowing marketers to autonomously create a lot of landing pages in an easy and fast way. The tool saves me a lot of time and allows me to create on-brand pages.
Very user friendly CMS that provide a smart way to manage complex content structure. Live preview is a game changer for the productivity of non technical persons
Searching content is not working very well when there is a lot of same key words and in different content types
Providing a easy way to build and share content across teams
My use is quite basic, hosting our creations and images and making them available.
I don't have any negative points to bring up, none.
Simplifacation de la mise à disposition de nos visuels sur notre site ou divers besoin interne.
What I like best about Storyblok is its intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes it easy to manage content efficiently. The platform's modular approach to content management allows users to create and manage individual blocks of content, which can be reused across multiple pages and platforms, saving a lot of time and effort. Live preview feature is impressive, making it easy to visualize changes in real-time. Another great feature of Storyblok is its flexibility and scalability. The platform can handle a variety of content types, including text, images, videos. It also offers multi-language support, which helped us a lot - saving lot of time.
Nothing really big, maybe the approval workflow needs some improvements.
Quick go to market
Storyblok is a solid content management system with a user-friendly interface and robust API. It's great for managing and delivering dynamic content across various platforms. The collaborative features and real-time previews make it a helpful tool for team projects. Overall, I would recommend Storyblok for those in need of a reliable CMS solution.
I don't have any complaints, everything is working smoothly.
Storyblok is flexible, easy to use, has a great preview. It makes my job more effective. It's also delivering great SEO results by supporting my efforts instead of sabotaging them.
