I think this is the perfect gmail add-on to organize and send mass emails, especially good for communicating to groups of over 50+ people.
I think that sometimes the features can be a bit glitchy
Its the perfect software to communicating to large groups
Transparency (or lack thereof) is one of the biggest issues with PR firms. Streak makes it simple to produce activity reports for our clients. Internally, it has helped us create a visual dashboard of sorts to track PR outreach efforts, ensuring that every pitch makes it through its pipeline. Infinitely customizable - it's great for any kind of multi-stage communication.
Would like to be able to get a universal view of employees across multiple pipelines.
Staying on top of media outreach efforts, sharing best practices with each other, and efficient and transparent reporting for clients.
How friendly is to use, good looking, a lot of reports, views, very customizable
When you try to move a lot of boxes at the same time, it freezes, leaving us for around 2 hours without being able to work.
Keeping control of all our cases, we handle around 1000 immigration cases per year. So easy to find old cases with a couple of clicks, it's perfect.
Having Streak integrated directly in the inbox lends itself well to being able to use it for all sorts of processes. For example, I've used it for event signups, keeping track of research interviews, and as a more traditional CRM. It's also great to see them continually push new features and updates as often as they do - always adding value, but hardly ever removing features.
I feel the pricing structure is a bit high, especially for a startup. It would be great if there was a plan that was in-between the free plan and the first paid plan that allowed features such as call notes and Zapier integration. Another option would be to have a "startup" plan for teams of 5 or less. It's also disappointing that they removed their email snooze functionality for users of the new Gmail interface. That was a UX gem and removing it took the snooze functionality back quite a bit (though I assume this was done as part of Gmail's terms of service?)
For us, it's really about keeping processes in check. We are currently using it for a alpha-user pipeline and it's incredibly useful to keep everyone on the team on the same page.
I love streak's color coordination, making it easy on the eyes and easy to organize. The scheduling features are extremely helpful, as are the folders and boxes. Even when sending emails over different campaigns and client groups, streak's organizational structure makes it simple to contact clients.
The tool lacks certain features, such as an undo button, which oftentimes make it difficult to take a step back if a mistake is made. This is sometimes very inconvenient.
Contacting clients over different time zones
The greatest feature of Streak is the integration with your Gmail. Having your pipline and workflow visually when an email comes through makes response time quicker and more efficient.
I wouldn't say that I dislike having to customize the coloring and pipelines to fit your flow, but more so just tedious.
Client relationship management!
Email tracking and views. I love knowing when I need to follow up
Not much. Maybe just some functions I don’t need.
Knowing when people have viewed my communication and know when to, and schedule, follow ups.
It’s extremely easy to track views for an email sent to your recruiter and manager, send bulk emails for a job profile to multiple companies at a time, schedule emails to be sent to the people at the start of the day so that its the first thing they see when they reach the office. The best feature is creating a very separate but really related email threads for different teams like a sales team, support team, the product team, and the HR.
Sometimes when I am using an email powered by Gmail, and sometimes I clear my history, cookies, and cache, the Streak extension crashes. Then I have to run it again. Also if I am using a different computer, on which I have not logged but its attached to my Gmail, I still have to run it again.
The Streak CRM plugin is so simple to use with Gmail and other email servicecs that users can easily integrate its tools to their daily routine. Streak doesn’t make a big change or replacement in hte processes. It just works to enhance them and the way things are being done.
I love that with Streak, I am able to see when somebody read an email I have sent them and that it gives me automated reminders to follow up when I do not hear back in a certain amount of time. In my sales role where I am contacting about 80 people per day, it is very helpful to know when people are reading my emails (or not), so I know if I need to follow up a different way, and as said before, I enjoy that it gives me automated reminders to follow up with clients when we have not spoken in about 5 days.
There is nothing I have come across at this point that is unlikable about Streak. It is a good organization tool and is helpful in a sales role where I need to keep up with speaking with people.
As said above, Streak helps solve any forgetfulness or organizational skills. I love being able to see when someone last opened my email, the last time they viewed it, and the reminders of when it has been 5 days since I have heard a reply.
Seamlessly works with my gmail account so I can avoid unnecessary work. Also works within my email account so I don’t have to start a new software.
Can’t be used with certain other products (such as hub spot). It doesn’t have a ton of features but I like that it keeps things light but still has a lot of power.
Using time more efficiently because a lot of data is already extracted from my correspondences thus eliminating mindless work Can keep track of clients easily and follow them based on where they are on our flow Task management Can share workload amongst team to track tasks real-time
