Todoist has enough features that an average user will have all the control they need without feeling overwhelmed
Some features that power uses want, like start on/defer dates, aren't included in an effort to keep Todoist approachable for novices
We use this to track individual tasks and delegate between three levels of employees on a team of 13
I love that it's extremely customizable. You're able to set due dates, repeat tasks, and create tags.
I don't love the email reminders, but there may be a way to disable them.
Able to see all my to-do's in one spot.
I love the flexibility that it provides and the ability to share.
Lack of customization when it comes to being able to prioritize.
Tracking tasks across large teams and projects.
I love the ability to add on to my google calendar and have the app in an easily accessible spot at all times. I also love the reschedule the overdo feature and the calendar reminder option.
There is not much I dislike. I do not use the productivity view often or much at all, but that may be for personal use.
My organization and prioritization are taken care of with Todoist. It is great for keeping me on track.
I love on this app that when you type in your note, ie - "Meeting 4/21 at 2pm with Joe" it automatically categorizes it on the date and time you typed in - no having to open a calendar and scrolling to choose a date and time. It seems small - but it saves a ton of time! The project tree works really well on here also, being able to seed different tasks under one parent is really convenient.
I haven't really found anything that I dislike too much on here - we get kind of overwhelmed in the world with every app having a different function they do well and having so many, but this is one that operates pretty seamlessly.
It's very easy for management to add tasks under jobs for the crew to complete and add them to the job. It's really easy for people to just be able to check off blocks on their cell phone and see positive progress on their overall assignments for the week as they accomplish them. It's also very easy for management to see when someone isn't finishing tasks and is seeming to get bogged down so we can check in. It's very helpful!
It's the easiest virtual way to have a checklist. I use this in my personal life as well as at my job.
Nothing honestly. I think this app is pretty great
It's what I personally use for all of my tasks that I need to get done. It's just like a paper checklist, but virtual.
I absolutely love this product. I love that it is so simple and user friendly. I also love that it seamlessly integrates into every aspect of my life, including my android phone, gmail, gcal, and chrome. I don't have to be concerned about missing a task across any platform!
I'd like it to be easier to share tasks. Also I don't like the fact that the premium version costs so much.
I'm able to handle tasks more efficiently. I can have something populate from an email in gmail, automatically to my gcal, and then automatically to my Todoist!
Todoist is very easy to use, and it features a wide range of features to better organize projects, individual tasks (with tags for easier access), priority and more.
Todoist has currently limited number of filters for the top level tasks filtering.
I am using Todoist to organize my day to day task, involving everything from personal task to work on all my projects.
You can keep the different aspects of your life organized. The to-do lists within to do lists is an aspect that paper planners or even pre-installed apps don't have.
I wish this tool was available through more avenues. If a deal can be struck with apple and this becomes the primary app, so many people would be more aware and take advantage of it.
Project management is so much more manageable especially when you have different groups handling different things. Plus people will able to see your changes in real time.
being able to prioritize each task and rank it
Needs more customization features and creative ways to organize one's day.
it is too simple. Needs more way to layer down the task.
