The ability to create sections for each role within a company and allow access to only specific training modules depending on level.
The only downside is that there are not a lot of options when it comes to the "Test/Quiz" sections. It is pretty much multiple choice and that is it.
We have created recurring training that employees must complete on a quarterly basis to keep the information fresh.
The ease of creating content and putting together trainings for my team has been a breeze! It takes all the spreadsheets I was using out of the picture completely.
There isn't a way to rearrange modules so that people can start one and also concurrently start another. For example my team needs to complete an outside training e.g. Human Subjects that takes an additional few hours of time outside of Trainual. My new hire needs to complete that training first before going on to the next module. Ideally, my new hire could start the human subjects training and move along in Trainual.
decreasing spreadsheets, having a more accurate measurement of where new hires are in their on boarding process, it's (dare I say) fun and interactive. It's been super useful for tracking.
This is perfect to train my staff when they come into a job role. If someone is busy and can not answer the question quickly, a process can be followed that has been input into Trainual. My staff loved it once I started adding processes. Easy to use
Having to be on a certain account for features like filming your screen. We are a biggish company but not big enough to justify going to the next subscription
It has freed up my time a lot, If a question is asked, staff go to Trainual and if it isn't in there, then we input a new process. Now everyone knows to go straight to Trainual before checking in.
The way each department, or "subject" is set up makes it very easy to organize training for specific departments. Also liked the fact that you can insert videos and also require assessments.
Dashboard on the admin end is a bit confusing at first. Could be more visually appealing but not a huge deal.

Trainual is great for documenting basic, frequent processes within our team.
Trainual doesn't yet have 2FA, which is something we would like to have in order to use Trainual to document more complex or sensitive processes.
Trainual has allowed me to focus on some larger issues since others can now take care of basic processes, such as ordering business cards.
It is very easy to setup. It is a very helpful tool for inducting new employees.
Not much. But it could have been could if there is an option to export the whole module as a PDF fle.
It is sometimes a little bit slow when you upload things.
I like how easy it is to lay out exactly what you want to teach people. It's easy to do the training and input them!
I wish I could organize my Desk a little better. Other than that, it's great!

It can be a little difficult to get your outline in place. I don't think there is an easy solution for this, it just takes some time to get it dialed in.
Our training is more streamlined and our employees know what the expectations are for them.
I can easily hand over procedures via Trainual to remote assistants and freelancers. It saves me a ton of time in training new people working with and for me.

Trainual saves me and my other employees a ton of time when it comes to training new assistance, freelancers, and employees. It helps me document information for me to look back on later as well. So I don't have to relearn things. It's a huge time saver!

As we have only utilized trainual fairly recently we are still learning to use it and all the features. As of right now we have not experienced anything we dislike

There are some features I wish were integrated: quizzes with multiple possible answers (ex. learning style quizzes), notifications when new content is added to already created subjects
Problems with training retention and consistency of training
Easy platform to add content and organize lots of information. The automatic notification of new content and the quiz feature is crucial.
Some formatting within the text box could improve - better headers, separation.
We use trainual to have ALL of the information our sales team knows to do their job. With links, charts, processes, etc. We are also able to track who has viewed or completed each topic which helps in training. It's a great starting tool for new employees and is continually added to so people know they can depend on its information as time moves forward and things change.

I am not the most tech savvy person but I found adding training content and users to be pretty intuitive on the platform and the value for the money is good. I also like the tutorials and tips that are given.
Nothing really, I am still determining if it will meet all of our needs going forward.
We were using a higher cost LMS system and did not find it user friendly. We are hoping to get more people involved in using Trainual.
Everything is in one place! It is an easy interface!

All of our information is in one place and is easy to navigate for all of our team members! We do not need to have a ton of google docs.

Setting up training for online use within our company
It significantly reduces my time as the company owner in training new employees and the sections are easy to edit when our SOP changes.
The one area that I felt needed improvement was locating content between the different sections (company, policy, processes). It was a bit confusing having content split which I see was cleaned up with the update because all content is now viewed on the same page. Also, the pay per user plan is a bit pricy for a company such as mine, which is a startup and I'm not sure if Trainual will continue to be the right fit in the long run.
Speeding up the learning curve with new staff and a place to store case studies to refer back to.
