Trainual solves the problem of documentation. It allows you to document everything, including your leadership structure, company policies, and, most importantly, your processes. The user interface is straightforward to use. Trainual's cost per license is a low rate compared to other LMS available. Trainual allows you to have a free trial, with no credit card needed. Their customer service is also top-notch; Rach had thorough answers, a lot of patience, and a great response time.
There isn't much I dislike about Trainual. I want an option to allow a supervisor to verify that a team member can complete the topics or subjects rather than just being able to see if their team member finished a section. Something to be aware of is Trainual does not allow videos to be stored on their website. Instead, you have to use links from Loom, Youtube, or many other options. Just be ready to learn how to make and store those videos on a different platform.
Trainual has allowed us to create a process-based knowledge system. It reduces the fear of what will happen if I'm not there or what if this employee leaves because he is the only one who knows how to do this. Trainual also gives us a formal training program that tracks where team members are in what positions they know.
Trainual is great resource for training information. Love the easy lay out of the page.
I do not see a downside to using Trainual. I like that it is like a live document.
It's a clear and concise place to have out teams training formation.
Absolute best way to organize, prioritize and memorialize your business processes, policies and organizational information. The templates they provide not only help guide you through the setup process but will teach you how to improve your current processes. Many of the templates are authored by subject matter experts and industry trainers.
Nothing! Everything is spot on, from the reporting to the Org Chart to the constant product enhancements. Status quo is not part of the Trainual Culture.
Before Trainual, we did not have a single business process documented. We could not add employees because no one knew what to do with them if they showed up at our door. Now we have a structured process to bring on new employees, immerse them in our Culture, equip them without systems and technology and give them a track to run on to get their legs underneath them and become contributors immediately.
I can find all the educational training for my workplace in one place. very easy to navigate
I have not found anything yet that I dislike about trainual
Helps me to get all the information for the company, meetings, educational videos etc. to be able to do my job better
It was easy to set up. Very customizable and easy to use for our employees.
I wish the Loom link enabled videos longer than 5 min for anyone instead of needing an additional Loom account.
We use Trainual for our SOP's and employee handbook. It is easy for our employees to access to look up info and answer questions easily. Everyone can be a contributor so the SOP's stay up to date.
Trainual is very organized and easy to distribute content to teammates.
Somtimes, the shorter 'modules' can give a false sense of completion %, and vice versa.
Distributing education content to our teams.
I love how customizable Trainual is. I work in a niche industry so a lot of our training has to be created from scratch and this is where Trainual excels.
I think the reporting features could be improved. I can pull reports on each class taken but not what classes each individual has taken in totality (including where they are in each one).
Trainual will send you a monthly email with information such as which subjects are underutilized which helps us re-examine what's no longer working. Also they offer a ton of free webinars on how to improve use of the products they have.
The organization of it. It takes seconds to find an SOP that you are looking for.
Copying and pasting into Trainual isn't the most user-friendly. There is a lot of time that needs to be spent on reformatting.
Saving time by storing all of our SOPs in one place and helping new employees find all of the answers they need
We love this accessible and user-friendly platform and have officially launched it at our plant to manage our training program. It is creative, interactive, and allows participants to review the material again if they need a refresher. 10/10 recommend.
I dislike that I can't go to one spot to review a list of completed training.
A training subject can be sent to multiple individuals with the click of a button. Assessment quizzes help verify if specific individuals need more attention or guidance on particular topics.
Trainual has been a game changer for our company. While we still have a lot to do, the training we've received so far and the policies & processes we've been able to add are looking beautiful. The whole site is easy to use and has a clean look.
The main downside is how time-consuming filling everything in has been. We also continue to add things to the list that we need to add in Trainual. The templates have been useful, but for more universally used technology such as Google slides, it would be helpful to have steps already laid out to save us time.
Trainual is helping us get organized. We have many different documents in many different places, so we're looking forward to cleaning everything up and having one location for the team to find all of these resources.
Tainual is incredibly user friendly. It helps build content in an engaging way. The feedback from our teams has been overwhelimingly positve and they are incredibly open to feedback.
I honestly cannot think of any downsides. I have set up a # of LMS and this one is by far the easiest to operate and the one that people enjoy using the most.
It helps us engage our team from the onboarding through their life cycle. It not only facilitates their initial learning of the business but then becomes a daily resource that our team can access from the convenience of their own phone.
Organization and layout make navigation easy between topics. Also allows you to view progress through completed topics
Sections that added after complete count against progress
Keeping up to date with education from franchisor
I like how everything is broken down step by step, which makes this very easy to use
Navigating through different sections can be pretty tricky when trying to find a specific process
It's easy to keep track of all the processes and making sure all the staff are trained the same way
Trainual has made writing and storing systems and processes fun at Grove Cookie Company! It's easy to use, updates frequently, and the interface is fun! We have also found the templates to be super useful. Go Trainual!
Nothing to think of right now. We are a smaller company, so it will be interesting to see how it adapts as we grow!
Systems and processes documentation, building out roles and responsibilities, creating policies.
I love that if there are changes, it adds this section to your to-do list so you can stay abreast company-wide of these changes.
I think there is nothing i see which is needed.
Trainual allows a new hire to come in and train themselves by reading and going through Trainual. So this helps with the Training needed.
I love the ability to create effective and simple content to help my team do their job better. I also love all of the additional helpful content Trainual provides to their users. I have learned a lot from their webinars and articles. It has helped us make the best of the system. I also appreciate all of the features they have thought of and the fact that they are continuing to innovate to meet businesses' needs.
I would like the ability to organize my subjects. Dealing with a huge list of subjects can sometimes get unruly and it would be helpful to be able to categorize them into different categories. There are several other features that would be helpful but honestly, a lot of them are available in the Premium Plan.
We are documenting our processes and procedures and helping fill in the gaps of employee knowledge. We are also using it for quick and effective training programs to get our new people up to speed on the company culture and their responsibilities. It is becoming an important part of our onboarding process and even more so with the new Slack integration.
The best part about Trainual for our company has been the ability to monitor and enforce the completion of essential company processes and procedures. Also, the editing capabilities of Trainual are top-notch.
It would be beneficial if you could make the completion of a Subject required for certain employees and not required for other employees (i.e., a Reference Subject).
Trainual is helping our company to efficiently implement processes and procedures. Due to Trainual's organized structure and user-friendly layout, we are training current and new employees better and more frequently than ever!
Trainual gives us an easy way to organize and deliver our training.
I wish I could customize things a bit more
It's solving the issue of organizing our training materials and have a central location making updates easy
Trainual allows us to organize all our onboarding and training materials in one, easy-to-use place so we can make sure employees get accurate and up-to-date information.
Trainual developers make it easy to make suggestions for how to improve the program and are adding new features regularly. We are looking forward to e-signatures and the ability to populate pdf fillable forms at some point in the future.
I can organize my thoughts and find the best way to communicate processes to employees and be assured that everyone receives the same training.
Trainual is easy to use and organize. Our staff has one central place to locate training modules and processes for every aspect of our busy agency.
There's nothing I dislike about the tool. They continue to make improvements and are great about communicating with their users about updates.
Before Trainual, we used Google docs and a spreadsheet to organize our SOPs. Now we have a tool with a great user interface and the capability to review our staff's progress on training modules.
What is most helpful is that we can quickly create training modules for each of our teams. Additionally, integration with Loom is key for us. The templates make things super easy and we are able to create and store key information for our employees.
Costs can become prohibitive as the company increases in size.
We are using Trainual for onboarding, SOPs, general company knowledge and with the use of Loom, we are able to create and maintain a repository of "how to" videos to increase our employee's technical competence.
That it is easy to manage and sort through and itis easy to update. Everyone on our team find it easy to use.
That you have to learn how to use it and there is no downloadable version if you are not around the internet.
We are solving interruptions throughout the day and everyone will have access to the info needed. It provides knowledge at everyone's fingertips.
The cataloging ability to group your informati
I have not found any issues with the train your system. They worked well for everything we needed
It makes the information easy to refer back to and has it in sections as well as step-by-step use
The training process is very easy to use and understand
Nothing. Very user-friendly no buffering when watching videos
on-site training and driving safety, orders,
Visually seeing the steps in a process..
What do I dislike? nothing really. It's good.
Being consistent in how all staff do a process at work.
We love the option to have reference materials that our agents can pull up in a moments notice
We would love to see a little more with being able to track the views on reference materials and see the clicks of who is accessing it.
On-demand training for our agents who are not able to invest in coming in class.
I looked at quite a few different knowledge base softwares when choosing the best one for our company and Trainual beat all simply by its user-friendliness for our learners and creators.
I like that you can restrict content to specific roles, but I wish that the default was to let everyone view it unless you restricted it for certain roles rather than now where we have to remember each role that needs access for every subject.
Trainual is giving us one central place to put all of the knowledge for our business making employee onboarding smoother and empowering our team to find the answers to their own questions.
The biggest difference between Trainual and what we were using before is the built-in simplicity. On my end as an admin, and on the agent end as new trainees, it's very clear what is next on the to-do list.
The one thing that stood out right away is that the Question types that you can use in assessments are limited. You can only create "Multiple Choice" and "Written Response" questions. We were able to adapt our assessments into something acceptable, but this was surprising considering "assessments" are an integral part of "Training."
Before Trainual, we were using Gusto, Zoho LMS, Atlassian, and Google Docs for onboarding, training, and workflow documentation. Trainual took on a lot of that burden, and we were able to scale back on Zoho and Atlassian. We still use Gusto for payroll, and Google Docs for other work, but we now have a smooth flow for the agents from Onboarding to Training to Internal Knowledge-Bases.
I love the proactive & progressive support
Trainual delivers everything I need from it
Trainual really has been the answer to my prayers. I searched for years to find a programme that I could recommend to my clients for capturing their policies, and their How To guides. It's easy to use, and so effective, allowing them to build a training system role by role, giving ownership of the training to both the individuals who need it, and the managers who need to manage it. We now recommend it to ALL of our clients! Love it!
Trainual is the greatest tool that helps employees accurately do their work. Trainual is like a bible to any job process. For some positions, because you will find the complete process of a job in Trainual, you will not need to be trained by an individual. Trainual will answer questions after you have been trained by an individual. By utilizing Trainual you do not need to keep asking questions to your trainer. I highly encourage every company to have Trainual as a job aid to their employees. I constantly use Trainual, it is an excellent tool. Trainual has answered many questions! Trainual is my best trainer, I strongly recommend it!
Trainual is only missing three things. When anyone is updating any information it should provide the name of the person who updated the information, the date & the time when it was updated.
I realized, I no longer need to ask or be trained by any person, since all the steps are provided on Trainual! I'm definitely more productive. My performance has increased with no mistakes!
