Trainual is a great resource to provide training, communicate important information, and test knowledge for our team. This is all the more important considering our entire team is rarely together in-person. We are able to create video content, record core values, and onboard new employees all in one spot.

We have not found anything we dislike yet. Rather, we we are trying to find how to use this resource to its full potential. We are very excited about the potential of this resource.

We are a new organization that has been around for just over 5 years. Trainual allows us to share our journey and cast vision to team members, no matter how long or short they have been with our team.

Trainual is an excellent tool and has been so helpful in pushing out important information to our team. It's simple and easy to use with a user-friendly interface that's not too bogged down with unnecessary information. I like that I can see reports that track completion. There are also tons of customization options to fine-tune the trainings we create and really make them what we want them to be. I would highly recommend this software.

I create trainings in PowerPoint and it is a little tedious to save each slide individually as a photo to upload them into the training steps. I would love to see some integrations with PowerPoint to make this a little simpler.

Trainual has made it easy to push out monthly trainings to help our team continue to grow in line with company values and beliefs. It has created more accountability for everyone across the board as everyone understands the expectations for trainings, as well as more opportunities for our team members to really thrive in their roles.

The streamlined approach to creating SOPs, and how quickly my team members can access them! The plug-in that allows users to quickly access any questions they have is a plus!

I wish I could set due dates for tasks and assign tasks due in order for new employees. It would be a helpful tool to assign subjects as needed for new employees.

Trainual is helping to create a space for documentation, from SOPs to office policies, to housing documents previously found in jumbled google docs. Trainual also helps to show roles and which subjects are assigned to each role.

It is extremely easy to use. You can get a jumpstart to making content using templates or start from scratch!

I have not really found anything to dislike about the product so far.

Trainual allows us to document policies and processes. We can verify our staff has completed reading the materials and test them on each subject.

That it is very user-friendly, and it didn't take long to get the hang of our process when adding things to Trainual. I love that Trianual experts are easy to access.

My only qualm is that there should be something to check things off within a process, like a checklist after someone has already been trained. There have been a couple of situations where I've had to print copies of what I would have liked to see on Trainual.

Adding new features to things. I love the trainual tags and Trainual University! I would love if more things came out on Trainual University. Trainual University was the key I needed to succeed.

Centralized, Easy to use, and Intuitive in design. Trainual takes the Intimidation of the BEHEMOTH, Known by many names, But simply put, "The Handbook." Developing your business to preserve the ideals, policy, and structure that got you here is detrimental to the execution of the scalability of your business. Trainual provides a platform to store and develop the hundreds of hours of work necessary to make it Unique to your business.

The vastly open-ended possibilities make structuring and figuring out where to start challenging. We had to sit down as a group of guys who had never done this but knew the direction we were headed. We had to develop our framework for even starting the first sets of paperwork and rubric for organizing. A one size fits all Model to represent the ideal organization and base level through final details would be helpful; as noted, it is a behemoth! While it's obvious to start one bite at a time. It can feel like every bite you take is made up of 2-6 other bites to be made before, and those all seem to have 2-3 Bites needed before you can start the previous. Forward progress seems to push out the finish line through the ability to become unruly with direction; one step forward develops six steps to be rounded back to. I.E., How do you Write a Job Description for a receptionist if you don't have a process and policy for first opening the office, handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, etc.

The Ability to centralize and simplify the intake, onboarding and training process. I can do it once and log it away; The expectations are set, and all that is left to do is manage and hold those in the know accountable.

The best part about Tranual is the ability to update and continue to create new courses, as well as the ability to see your team members progress on the courses.

The only part I don't like is that after sending out my responses to a test, I can't see again what I had responded to whenever I took said test. It would be good to be able to go back and see.

Trainual is helping us to contribute to our employee's education and professional development; it also is beneficial when onboarding new hires, as they can catch up very quickly to all of our processes with the established courses.

During our product search, we prioritized communication of changes and accountability to the documentation we create. The ability to assign content to specific users, require acknowledgment of seeing the content, test that knowledge via quizzes, and then reassign in the event of a change was what we needed for our rapidly changing organization.

If we were to be nitpicky, there are a few features that we'd like to see added on the reporting end: a version history, the ability to see timestamps for user actions (to see how quickly/slowly content is being consumed) etc.

All of our employees have been very impressed with Trainual and describe it as "exactly what we needed". It's not the cumbersome, hard to change LMS that a more enterprise system would be but it has more accountability features than a typical wiki or document repository.

Love the webinars, they are engaging and informative.

I would prefer to have more control over access instead of just admin w/ everything vs. other roles. Also, it would be beneficial if a course could be administered annually w/ a historical copy retained of the previous courses taken by the same employee yet giving the new certificate of completion showing current year.

Administering onboarding and allowing automization instead of in person trainings for the beginning process.

Detailed topics, easy to use for beginners. Keeps managers in the loop on completed topics.

I have no complaints about trainual. It has been most helpful in getting content to new hires.

I think the best thing about trainual is that it provides content that employees can go back and revisit if in a situation where they are unsure. All of our new employees use trainual for the basics and requirements of the job.

We are finally able to change over to online training vs paper training

Organizing, updating and sharing the training manual has never been easier or more efficient. Trainual makes it simple to view our processes from a big-picture perspective, bringing us organizational clarity and allowing for effortless updating. Updates can be shared with all employees simultaneously with only one step. Employees can access the training manual from anywhere, giving our employees the reference they need if something has been forgotten. We love Trainual!

There are a couple of minor organizational downsides, like being unable to move process topics once created or changing ownership of multiple topics simultaneously.

Trainual has solved our updating issues. Before, our processes lived in multiple locations or were paper documents and updating them was time-consuming and costly. It has given our employees access to the manual anywhere at any time, so their questions can be answered even when a manager is unavailable.

Training of new hires and continuing training

It is simple and intuitive to use. It has enough security and tracking functionality, but not so much that it becomes a burden to create and publish training content. I also really like how simple the automated communication regarding what training has changed, with daily emails.

you need to jump through a few hoops if you want to maintain a history of versions of the training content. I also wish they had a pre-built integration with UKG, so we didn't have to build one.

Before Trainual, we kept all of our Standard operating procedures in a sharepoint library... where they didn't get looked at because it was difficult to find what you were looking for... trainual has a very simple search feature that makes this much easier. the content will also be much easier to review & update as our business changes

The best part of Trainual for us, a business with many remote locations, is a centralized home for all things policy and process related! No matter where an employee lives, they have access to everything that makes our business run smoothly! I also appreciate Trainual's efforts to constantly make things better and appreciate their roll outs to enhance their product!

My biggest complaint is that there's no way to create our own templates and have them pull through in the headers. Trainual has created some great templates, but I would love the ability to "tag" our policy template on the policy page, for example, rather than duplicate something from our own collection.

Trainual is constantly innovating and I appreciate their moves to create a space that is not stagnant, but keeps up with the changing times! The buttons to place on items to learn about the process, for example, is such a huge growth!

I enjoy Trainual's user friendly layout. It can be intimidating learning a new program, but trainual makes it easy!

The updates to trainual are pretty frequent - As a new user it can be difficult navigating the system when the updates tend to move things around a little bit.

Trainual makes it easy to access everything in your case without having to navigate through multiple different programs.

Ease of use and all the functions it provides

There are features that would be useful for Admin purposes like batch completion of subjects.

It holds all of our training material in one place and tracks completion rates.

We love the gifs section. It is funny...

we would like it to have more types of fonts and designs.

the sops. We are recording all our processes on it. We have done several pieces of training for future employees and are making it easy to keep a collection of the processes.

It is very simple, and you can easily understand the contents.

It looks old; it could have been better if it looked current.

With Trainual, we can have training at our own pace.

Trainual is great for keeping everything in one place. With many different departments within my company, we needed a way to train people across departments. Our directors are able to create the trainings they need for their staff, which can easily be used with new hires or people helping out in different departments. Edits are easy to make when details change, and we can easily assign our training to anyone who needs it. The flexibility makes it ideal for any company.

The language that they use can be confusing. Some of it you can change, but not everything. It's not too bad to understand once you get more familiar with Trainual, but it's confusing when trying to teach your employees how to use and interact with it, especially when you have multiple people creating within Trainual. I think my company (online school) uses the platform a little differently than it may have been intended for, so some issues are more dependent on the nature of how we need to use Trainual versus a flaw within Trainual itself.

It seems that Trainual is quick to hear any feedback their users have, and implement it quickly. I know they are constantly working to make updates to the platform. I feel that any issues I have, they are wanting and willing to hear about, There are some changes within the Org chart feature that I would love to see. I am hoping they are working to edit these soon.

The browser finds the topics I'm looking for by using keywords by showing all the paragraphs that contain them. Other feature I like is located in the dashboard I can see there my overall progression.

It may not be related to the platform itself it is more related to the Themes or formatting applied in the different topics, I would like to have more display icons where I can find different explanations on specific labels.

It helps to reduce time and human efforts by providing insights/training for new waves or to refresh specific topics on a daily basis. We don't have a big training team, we have Trainual to provide solutions.

Trainual is proving to be a complete operations solution for training and managing SOPs. We are finding that retention and understanding are way up after moving our paper forms to Trainual.

While we are very satisfied, perhaps the Trainual team could work on refining the overall feel of the website, particularly with how the templates are imported. I'm always excited to see a relevant template, but deploying the template and making it ours can be a little clunky. But this is a minor point.

With Trainual, our company has a central place to record policies and procedures. This empowers our growing teams to operate more efficiently.

It is simple from a user perspective and easy to create from an administrator's point of view. I like how many options you have in presenting information so that you may use it for more than just simple training guides.

The search functions provide ease of access for finding what you need to know on the fly, but it can be too specific on what it is looking for and miss what you really need.

It solves paper issues! And with the recent addition of signatures, we were looking to eliminate paper forms almost entirely, which saves us space and provides employees with easier access to their documents.

The organizational layout is really nice and helps make sure that you do not miss anything. I like that they are constantly adding new features. The ownership of the company seems stable which is nice if you are building your playbook and you want to ensure they will be around long-term.

The pricing is somewhat high for a smaller business. It has also changed a few times either up or down, so that causes some anxiety. Other than that, there was not much to dislike.

Trainual makes it easy to document all our systems and processes and helps our team learn everything. It really ensures we are on the same page. Our clients go from "how I do it" to "how we do it."

I like how customizable you can make each section or part of the training. Very easy to use and not difficult to update any of the information if necessary.

I think that being so customizable can lead people astray but really depends on the person creating each course or section of the training.

Trainual is solving the problem of watching a million videos that don't make sense. If you want to create a great training program for new hires or even education. This is an easy tool to utilize and makes you look like a wizard.

The easy to navigate from the user view and easy to edit and update from the admin view. The accessibility of support and ability to separate sections of info along with the users themselves based of roles and locations.

The biggest area I have an issue with this the lack of options in quizzes. I would like to see different styles/option other than multiple choice and word count.

Getting support from the Trainua team is always quick and friendly. In our company, we can collect a lot of data and see what areas need improvement and more training. The communication and efficiency of changes are also really convenient while using triangular.

I like the videos! It's so much easier for our team to shoot videos on topics as opposed to bullet point content. Also its wonderful because the team feels empowered, they are also setting the foundation for future trainees with how to videos. This is wonderful because it gets the whole team involved.

Sometimes the video through Loom makes us reconfigure our settings on our computer everytime in order to get it to work. For some reason this has happened often. But this is not Trainuals fault.

Trainual has helped team members understand other roles. The benefits of trainual is that it empowers team members since we get them involved in the creation of videos and material.

I believe Trainual has been a great tool to allow new team members to get up to speed in an easy to follow manner. The ability to create training in easy to follow steps is great for team learining.

I am not a huge fan of the library as I wish it would allow for me to organize the training documents in a way that is best suited to my needs.

Trainual is being used for training on processes which also allows for team memebers to go back and freshen up on things that have been past learned.

The thing I like best is the abundance of presets that you are able to use as a template and make into your own company policies!

The only downside is how long it takes to input all of our SOPs into Trainual. Once you understand how to navigate, you get a little quicker but it does take some time from the admin perspective

Trainual has replaced almost all of our training manuals and checklists. Many of our policies that are written in the handbook new hires sign are also in Trainual to make sure they have read and understand our important policies
